Great place for our sons pre gaduation dinner Food was great Service was great
Went with my wife for a date night and was definitely not disappointed. Service was excellent and the food was superb. It's a little pricey but well worth the money spent.
Fantastic meal, filled with hospitality that never disappoints!
Everything great, drinks, wine and food. Fernando our server did an excellent job. Perfect launch into my retirement.
Our Wait person was amazing! I didn’t get her name but she is fantastic!
Food quality is exceptional. The steaks are always fabulous!
Love the gigantic chocolate cake for birthdays!
Restaurant is quite spacious yet allows for private dining. Waitstaff was superb! One of my new favorites!
Excellent service atmosphere pleasant food was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend for dinner and special occasions. You were not rushed by staff able to linger and enjoy dessert
We have always had positive experiences when dining at S&W Boston - Atlantic Wharf. However, when we decided to dine here on Easter, we were extremely disappointed. We did not receive the correct steaks that we ordered and the entire table had to wait for the correct meals to be brought out. When the food did arrive, the quality was lacking. The steaks were overcooked and did not look or taste like a prime steak should. Upon the second attempt at getting our order correct, one steak was still not acceptable so it was immediately sent back. Overall, the quality of the food has declined and the service was not up to par. When discussing the matter with management, they had a very cavalier attitude toward our experience. We were celebrating a birthday but after our disappointing meal, we decided that we did not want to stay for dessert. We were told that the returned steak would be taken off the check. It turns out that they did not remove the steak from the check and they also charged us for a chocolate cake that we did not have. Needless to say, we won't be returning.
Nothing special, couple of our orders messed up on meat doneness. Even though we get a price break on them, still speaks volumes for itself. Table next to us send the whole order back to the kitchen for the same reason. If you really appreciate meat, probably worth to find other spot.
The restaurant has a beautiful location and provides a romantic atmosphere. I food was very good, however I had meals in Boston I enjoyed just as much for about 75% of the price. So, while I do recommend it (especially if you are craving steak), I did not give it a high rating for value. The outdoor dining area is especially scenic.
The food was made well and service was good.
Very surprised about the food. My wife and I both ordered the bone in NY strip. It was very fatty and very little taste.
We got mushrooms on the side and they were very chewy.
The staff was very nice and tried to make things right.
I have been to many steak houses which we all know and won’t be back to this one.
We ordered two petite filet's on the restaurant week menu. One we ordered with the crab/hollandaise topping option and it was swimming in the sauce to the point where we couldn't finish the meat.
The plain filet was extremely dry, fatty, and not flavorful. The fingerling potatoes that came with both meals were completely undercooked and inedible.
I was overall extremely disappointed with our meal and will not be going back here. I have been to many other steakhouses in Boston and had a much better experience.
Nothing special to note, except that my salmon was over cooked...which was disappointing.
Brought a new hire here for an intro lunch, service was poor. We were sat and not seen for about 8 minutes before someone came to ask if we wanted a drink. We ordered waters and placed a food order. The bread wasn’t brought until we got our meal which was strange. The burgers which are usually great tasted like a salt lick, our waiter never checked on us as we were dehydrated with no water and the excessive salt from the burger dried us out. I expected better especially when it wasn’t very busy at all.
Everything great !
Excellent meal excellent service, first time but will definitely be back!
Nice Restaurant with great food. Never a miss eating here. Service was great as well as the seating looking out on the harbor.
It was OK.. food delicious but our waitress was very casual and overshared a bit..
Also, open table advertised that the Dine Out Week Menu was available everyday and it’s only available Sunday-Friday.
Overall, a very good dinner. Vibe was great.
Menu, as always, is great from apps to desert. Server was great but it was a bit slow - as you would expect at 7:00 PM on Saturday night. One recommendation would be to have one or two more lighter entrees as an alternative to steak - chicken or lighter fish.
Had attempted to used holiday bonus gift cards which were expired. Understand there are rules. However had bought $ 2000 worth of gift cards, got $ 400 bonus and was able to use only a fraction due to rules - one card at a time, not applied to drinks, must use by 2/28. Too many rules. I will buy my gift cards at Del Frisco's next year.
We had an excellent experience! The host staff and servers were incredibly kind to us, despite the fact that we rolled in on a Saturday night with two kids (on scooters!)! The food was excellent and overal it was just a great night! Volain was our server and he was exceptional! Thank you!
Went here while in town in Boston. Service was exceptional. Wait staff were attentive and offered suggestions that allowed us to try a wide array of menu items. Would go back.
Amazing service and dinner. Window views of the seaport are spectacular.
We went for the Dine out Boston special. Our server Jordan E (?) was excellent! Made great conversation, was super super friendly, and attentive! He is a great asset to your team.
The filet was great. And the decoy Zinfandel was amazing as well. The waiter was the perfect balance of attentive and not bothersome. It was a great meal.
Great atmosphere, steak lovers paradise, great outdoor dining and bar during nice weather. Bar area dining and dining room venues give wonderful options for whatever the occasion.
Had to ask for all the other menus besides the main dining room menu Bar menu, dine out Boston menu, drink menu).
We had not eaten here in a while and forgot how good it was. Our waiter Jesus was fantastic.
The food was delicious. We will return soon!
Lovely space and first class food.
Great food and service. The steak was prepared perfectly and melted in your mouth
Great food and service! Everyone was all smiles and so kind.
Perfect night out with family!
My husbands birthday
We went for my son’s 18th birthday. When we arrived at the table there was a birthday card on the table. Food and service was great. At the end of the meal, the waiter brought us a huge piece of chocolate cake on the house. It was delicious. We had a lovely time and would definitely go back.
Very attentive staff and food was excellent.
Medium rare filet was well done. Expensive for what you get.
Absolutely great service. We had a very enjoyable experience with the waiter/bartender, manager and food runner; everyone was very accommodating and friendly.
After years and years as a Smith & Wollensky patron, I recently switched to this Congress Street location (the service at the Arlington Street location had declined to an unacceptable level). The service at Congress Street is outstanding. The bar scene at Congress Street is much more lively although a table not far away was fine for detailed business conversation (and celebration). The food was outstanding. Both my guest and I had entrees that were exquisitely prepared and done exactly to our specifications. The management team does a very nice job from General Manager Peter Baker who also doubles quite competently as Sommelier to Rachel Carlson who was handling Maitre D' responsibilities that evening. Overall, five star review!
