Great food good service!
We had a lovely lunch, with delicious food and service that was careful.
Went there on Saturday night waited 20 minutes for waiter then food was brought out cold meatballs were not cooked and pink in middle. Had to ask 2 servers for bread and they forgot to bring it. Also asked for separate checks and when waiter brought check he said cross it out and figure it out. Definitely better places to try in little Italy section of Boston. This place is not worth the price for small portions of pasta too.
The food and service were excellent. Expensive but worth the price. Beautiful patio seating on a early summer evening. Our new favorite steakhouse!
Service was a little slow but food is always great and lovely to sit outdoors on a sunny day!
We’ve been to several S&W locations throughout the country and this was very disappointing. The service was average nothing special. Nice ambiance and good waterfront view. The food was a major disappointment. I got the bone in New York cut over half the steak was bone and fat. My friend got the coffee rubbed filet and it was severely very overcooked. Sides were nothing special. Overall, especially for the price, this was a very disappointing experience. Definitely will not go back to this location.
Amazing service and food! Will definitely be back!
We waited close to 25 minutes before a server came over to us - even after asking 2x for service. We were comped a dessert we didn’t really want. Sadly I won’t be going back as this isn’t the first time my experience here was lacking.
Wonderful staff. Good food, nice location
Ruby attended to us during our dinner and she was wonderful! It made for a great experience. The food was fabulous.
The food was very greasy especially the side dishes nothing special expected a lot more than your regular steak house
The location is great outside seating is very enjoyable and the service was good too
So great to be back to indoor dining! Petit Strip Steak was perfect for lunch. Prompt and friendly service. Great to be back at S&W!
Fantastic steak. All side dishes extra but you are given a lot. Nice interior and outside seating
Waitress had a very thick Hungarian or Czech accent, made understanding her troublesome at times.
With our visit from out of town for my brothers birthday, we were very happy with our service from the time we entered! If we’re ever in Boston again we’ll definitely visit
The ambiance indoor and out is terrific, great outside bar and patio. Food is ok nothing great. Pea soup listed as award winning was too thick , no seasoning, no veggies very bland. Cocktail shrimp chewy must have been frozen?
Excellent crab cake, all crab, light and tasty! I find the menu limited and food average with
so many steak restaurants around to choose from. Love the location and nice staff!
Henry Bakst our server made our night. We will be back all summer long!!
I didn’t get a table as reserved, but the food was amazing and the drinks were great.
Birthday. Excellent fiord. Excellent service. Great place to celebrate..
Delectable food. Great drinks. Amazing staff (especially our waitperson, Adam). Wonderful outdoor dining experience. Well worth the money. I’m so glad I chose Smith & Wollensky Boston as the place to surprise my partner with a birthday dinner.
This was our first time dining out since the start of the pandemic. Any anxieties we had were quickly relieved by the safety protocols observed by the restaurant. We will definitely be back for our next special occasion even after restaurants in Massachusetts are allowed to operate at full capacity.
Smith & Wollensky is on the wharf and is the perfect starting point for a post-meal walk if you feel like checking out the Seaport District before heading home (day or night). We did our walk on a spring night in late May around 9:00 pm and appreciated the exercise in addition to the skyline and city lights views.
Our new favorite restaurant in Boston! Amazing meal, exceptional service and classic ambiance to celebrate our son’s graduation. S&W was elegant but not stuffy. The 3 salads we tried were fresh and delicious, and the massive “swinging tomahawk” Wagyu steak that we shared was outstanding. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and made extremely helpful suggestions. Can’t wait to go back!
Great food & the service was top notch. Our table was ready as soon as we arrived, our waiter was friendly and helpful, and the table-side service was terrific.
Great location on the wharf, but there is no view when seated inside. Decor needs updating- strange color choices. For a high end restaurant, the ambience didn’t feel high end. The chef was excellent, but be warned there is not a poultry option offered on the menu. Also only salmon and tuna for fish choices.
We loved our meal at S&W. They have an amazing patio with tons of tables close to the Fort Point Channel. I appreciated that we could offer off the bar menu as well as the traditional menu. We wanted items from both so I am appreciative they accommodated. Every single dish we had was delicious, even the bread. I find their prices to be expensive, even by Boston standards. The quality more than matched the price though. If you want a high end dining experience and are fine paying a premium for it, this is an excellent pick. We had a wonderful time there!
Best steakhouse in Boston. Amazing, helping, and friendly waitstaff. Would recommend to anyone. Also, can't go wrong with the extremely huge piece of chocolate cake to split amongst 4 people or more!
Smith, is one of our Favorite places we are regulars. You know what you will be getting when you go there. I can't wait for Better weather, so we can sit outside where our Favorite Bartender usually is.
Great food and great service. Great place
We were celebrating a birthday here and it was all amazing! The staff are very friendly and helpful and accommodated my requests for seating preference. Service and food were both exceptional! We’ll be coming back shortly!
Food was great. Staff was very attentive and professional. Our waitress gave great suggestions. Would definitely recommend.
Everything was delicious! We love this restaurant. However, after my sister and I got our desert our server rushed to bring out the check without us asking her. Then I have checked that none of other tables were given their check when they were still enjoying their desert. Just to top it off, she kept coming back to check if we put our cards to pay. No worries, we did pay and left a tip, but at the end when we finished our desert and chatted a bit. I understand we may look young, but assuming that we will take off without paying is a whole other level. It did tarnish our experience in one of my favorite spots in the city. I would definitely call the manager next time, if I am given my check at the beginning of my desert eating. There should be no assumption of the customer’s ability to pay based on their looks, age, skin color, and what they are wearing!!! I hope this comment will be taken seriously by the management for educational purposes that millennials will be making up 75% of the workforce by 2025.
I made reservations for lunch to celebrate my wife’s birthday, my two sisters and my mother joined us and we had a wonderful time. Our server Claudia was fantastic as usual, and anticipated our needs and made sure all our meals were perfectly prepared and delicious. We had a wonderful time, the entire staff stopped by our table to wish my wife a happy birthday, we could not be more pleased with our experience. The new menu has several new items and some favorites, we were pleasantly impressed with the Burratta, the Twin Petit Filets, the Wollensky and Cesar Salads and the Wollensky Burger, all cooked to perfection. We would definitely recommend S&W and especially Claudia for your next special occasion.
Very accommodating would and have recommended without a doubt. Will be back sooner than later.
The overall experience was nice. It was Mother's day. So It was busy. Our server was inside and outside. So we had to wait for a few requests and the check. Other than that the food was very good. The strawberry sangria was okay. Could have been a bit sweeter.
Overall rating B
Great choice for a Mother’s Day lunch/dinner!
Great meal with my daughter.
AMAZING, simply amazing! I can’t quite comprehend why their burgers and salads are simply irresistible. Best meal of the year with flawless service.
Everything was perfect front to back and our server Tamara was awesome!
