I'm a concierge at timeshare downtown and recommend restaurants constantly. This was my first trip to Smee's and I went as much for my future guests as for myself. So happy to report I will feel very comfortable recommending this restaurant in the future. Had the fish 'n chips w/coleslaw. Wonderful, and I like that you can choose between two pieces or three. Loved it.

It was a quiet Tuesday evening. We received lots of attention from the talkative server. The three fish tacos with mango salsa were good, and plenty to eat. Others in the party enjoyed the scallop sliders, and the catfish. Overall, nice ambience and a good value

We sat outside overlooking the Truckee. Beautiful. Haley was our most excellent server! We all had fish and chips with a Revision IPA. Also excellent.

First time trying Smee’s. We were really hoping for a good meal. Nothing too exciting on the menu honestly. Ended up with fish and chips. Not very good. On the cold side and rubbery fish. Undercooked fries. Had the chowder as an appetizer. Was cold. Service was good. Love the location, but tray miss the Reef. Especially after this visit. Hope they get better.

The menu was limited; salmon and halibut for main entrées with remaining listings being tacos of some sort. Salads were delivered without dressing. Halibut entrée was halibut and small portion of rice with the a large portion of spinach salad. The neal was a split but an extra plate was not provided (I retrieved one from a service cart). Would only recommend this place for quick bites and drinks not as a seafood resturant.
