We are back on the patio (tented if needed) on Thurs., 8/18 serving our off-menu summer BBQ special. ICYMI this menu features our take on some American BBQ classics (St. Louis-style Spare Ribs, Smoked Brisket & Pulled Pork) complimented by a selection of family-style shared plates (Coleslaw, Mac & Cheese, Street Corn & Cornbread) and a variety of housemade BBQ sauces. Live music, summer brews & local wines from our friends at Macari are also invited to the party. BBQ menu is $59/person. Beverages, dessert, tax, & discretionary gratuity are additional.

First time we'd been there. Was very nice but our waiter had a very low, mumbly sort of voice which made it difficult to clearly hear all of what he said. Our dinners were tasty but my snapper came out room temperature while his brisket came out steaming hot. We waited more than 20 minutes from appetizer to entrée so I ate mine as it was. Not the best impression and I was celebrating a big birthday, which you didn't know about, because I'm not wild about this one.... That's it. Just felt you should know.

As usual, the food and service were great! Our server listened to our questions and was able to guide our choices. The watermelon salad appetizer was so refreshing and tasty. It was a good addition to the summer menu.

The presentation was very good and the food was delicious. We decided to share two lunch entries and the staff accommodated our request to split and server the entries for us.The only wrinkle was that the first two desserts we ordered were already sold out. We’ll just need to come back and try for the desserts again.

Excellent food from the oysters (great tomato jam & mignonette sauce) and the eggplant parm with burrata. The main dishes - cod in broth and the waygu burger were big hits. Only disappointment was they didn’t have the banana pudding dessert when I had it several months ago.

before they give the food to the customer they don’t even check if the cup is clear or not,, terrible experience Order a cappuccino it came with a big red 💋 on the cup from the previous customer, disgusting!!! Asked switch to ice coffee creamer on the side , container is dark inside and mouldy The worker need to train about how to wash dishes!!!! Seriously! And the most important thing is , their waitress don’t care ! Disrespect!

Food was good. Outdoor dining was comfortable, but sit inside, the restaurant cannot control the noisy people passing by or the cars with the music blaring. The mussels were out of this world!

My wife and I wanted to try Tom Colicchio's restaurant and was not disappointed !! We split the mussels appetizer which was delicious. For mains we had the SPAGHETTI with heirloom cherry tomatoes, garlic & basil & BUCATINI with spicy pork ragu & basil was a hit. Had a hint of Spice but not overbearing. Took doggy bags for both pasta dishes. Although the restaurant was attached to the Roosevelt Field Mall, the restaurant speaks for itself and you should give it a try. You won’t regret it!!

My dining experience was superb. The moment I checked in with the Host, he greeted and wished me a “Happy Birthday”. It was his Mom’s Birthday too, informed me. too. So, he made me feel, extra special with this connection. He gave me a Menu that they put HAPPY BIRTHDAY with my name on it. Next, the food was delicious and tasty.

We enjoyed everything about Small Batch last night! The food was delicious, the chef so creative, the server very professional, helpful and attentive and we could actually hear each other talk without shouting. My husband has quite a few food allergies, so he usually has his food prepared in a way that is very plain. When he couldn't have the sauce that came with his salmon, the chef went out of his way to prepare a delicious different sauce that contained nothing to which he was allergic. We will definitely be going back there often!

My first visit to you restaurant was not so good. We sat down and after 10 min we had to ask for bread because they did not bring the bread right it way. We ask for a slice of lemon in our water and we had to remind the waiter to bring it. I ordered Salmon and it was so small resting in a huge bed of salad that I had to return it because I had already a big salad. I end up not ordering anything because Your menu did not have enough choices. Sorry, I will not visit your restaurant again. Ada

We went to the Small Batch Big Batch Summer BBQ, advertised as a special occasion, because we thought we would be served outstanding barbecue and, boy, were we let down. The ribs were ok, the brisket was tasteless and I have no idea how the pulled pork was made because it was inedible. For $49/person, this was a complete rip-off. For a Tom Colicchio restaurant, situated on the outer part of Roosevelt Field, we might as well have been served mall court food.

Came here years ago with my sister and it was exceptional. Went again with my husband last night and it wasn’t as great as I remembered it to be. The pork chop was dry - I ordered it med. My husband ordered the burger. It was OK. All in all I’m sorry to say it wasn’t worth the money last night but the choc cake dessert was amazing. Waiter - good! Food eh. I would try once more tho. Maybe lunch or brunch. I will say however, no restaurant is perfect. There are good days and bad. Last night was just ok. I wouldn’t completely write them off tho.

The food and service has always been outstanding, except for my last visit. The service was extremely poor. It was so bad that the waiter was pulled from our table. The front manager really needs to be more vigilant and check on tables to get a feel for things, but that was not done. It was a slow night and there was no excuse. The kitchen sends out great dishes, but the service, at least this last visit, was lacking. The food, as always, was delicious.

Small batch is consistently our go to restaurant for anything from a routine dinner/brunch to a celebration. We had the tomahawk dinner for 2 and it was outstanding as usual. Everything from drinks to dessert is wonderful.

Waiter messed up our order. We chose to accept the dish rather than wait for the correct dish to be ordered. $155 Ribeye was cooked properly as ordered medium rare, but was served cold. Very disappointing dinner especially considering the $900 tab.

I don't understand why both the first and second course of the lunch prix fixe has to come at the same time. It makes for an uncomfortable lunch. Also, my Chicken Thighs were good but very salty.....
