Great for happy hour

Inside our lovely Grade II listed building, there are plenty of tables to relax and unwind. With bars on two floors, both with large windows means you can always see the happy goings-on on the square. All in all, it’s an ideal spot for enjoying a quick lunch, leisurely dinner or relaxed drink in our beautiful fully glazed conservatory. The upstairs bar is available for private hire and can accommodate any function from birthday parties to fashion shows, art lectures and business meetings.

They didn’t have my booking through open table so my birthday evening did not go to plan. They said they didn’t use open table to take bookings, although on the phone to management they didn’t say this.

When we arrived the guy at the restaurant the guy at the door said he wasn't letting anyone in. We said w head a reservation and he said he couldn't see it and "that's the second one tonight". I showed him our reservation with Open Table and after looking for a while he said "wrong restaurant" and asked us to leave. I double checked and asked some locals and it was 100% the right address, right restaurant, right date and time. He was incredibly rude and due to Covid we were unable to get into another restaurant. Extremely disappointing.
