This restaurant is CLOSED! It was very frustrating to make a reservation and drive out there to find it closed! The website does not reflect that it is closed.

Pulled pork was delicious. Mac and cheese and cole slaw were not as good as Corktown restaurant. Noise level was deafening. Very difficult to hold a conversation without shouting.

We were from out of town visiting a son. He suggested Slows for an evening together for great barbecue. We took our whole family and found the waiter and host very helpful, warm, and welcoming. The food was excellent and well worth the drive. We would highly recommend your restaurant, and will look forward to our next visit.

Slow's Bar BQ let the revival of barbecue cuisine in the metro Detroit area. Their original Corktown location always has an hour wait to be seated. I was excited to hear they were opening a location in Pontiac which accepts reservations. I have visited their Pontiac location twice in the past two months and enjoy great BBQ both times. The service is top notch and their food is consistently good. I highly recommend the Yardbird chicken sandwich!

The food was really not very good. The brisket and ribs were both very dry. Pulled pork was pretty good. Cornbread was great. Coleslaw, beans and corn were just ok. Not as good as downtown. Did like that they took a reservation but not sure we will go back

Long time fans of original location we were in Pontiac for a show so went here for a bite to eat. Smaller menu than Detroit and my first two beer picks were not available. Brisket was drier than expected but still very tasty. If I didn't know how exceptional the original Corktown location is this would have had 5 stars across the board. It's not Corktown but it's still great. Also awesome to see downtown Pontiac bouncing back. Ten years ago it was a ghost town.
