Service, all around, was slow but I guess that’s implied in the name. But when you have a hungry 7-year old, waiting an hour to eat was problematic.
My French toast were excellent…Irish coffee waaaay too strong. Also ordered the breakfast sandwich which the kid devoured and husband and teen got the standard, both enjoyed but said it was not remarkable. Crowd was light for Father’s Day so not sure why the long wait but the waitress was friendly.
Really poor service, long wait for drinks and food, food under-seasoned and bland.
Just an okay experience. Server was attentive. The food was absolutely wonderful! We had a vegan in our party, and unfortunately, there were no options for her except the farm salad.
That said, the bar was slow; the wine I ordered when my dinner came didn’t arrive until I had finished eating. Also, a band started at 9:00, and it was so loud that we had to yell to hear one another. Not great considering we were with of town guests and wanted to visit with them.
I’d like to understand what Slow Hand is aiming for with music like that. It’s not a concert venue. Most people are not there to listen to music, they are there for a meal/drink, and to enjoy time with friends. Music is fine, but the volume should have been 50% of what it was. If we had been able to carry on a conversation, we would have stayed for dessert and another drink. As it was, we didn’t take the wine that arrived too late, just got our check and got out of there. I will go back, but not when there is live music.
Food and drinks were amazing! Servers were extremely attentive and the ambiance is great. Will definitely be back!
We really enjoyed our first experience at Slow Hand! Our servers were friendly and attentive. Food arrived piping hot and delicious when ready as we had requested for the multiple small plates/apps that we had ordered with drinks. The mussels and clam appetizers were especialy remarkable and arrived with a soup spoon that we took advantage of to get the last drop of broth in both bowls.
Thank you for a great meal!
Not for me, too loud Nothing absorbing the din of voices
Food was tasty, but seemed a little expensive for what it was.
some really nice artisanal dishes. and very interesting cocktails. worth a look and a great location.
The food was excellent! Service was very good. It was a bit noisy because the bar when we first got there was very busy and we were outside and with the door open into the bar and the street noise it made conversation a little difficult until the bar emptied out. Not a big deal.
Our first time here, we were really impressed with the variety of dishes. Everyone in our party tried a different menu item, all were well prepared and enjoyed. Can’t wait to come again!
Came by for Sunday Brunch for a party of 4. We ate inside and the service was excellent without being bothersome. Thank You! The drinks were well made and our food was delicious! We will be back. Thank You!
Very good and unique food and very good service
Entrees were very good! However, appetizers were over priced and not enough food. We paid $18 for 3 scallops which were just ok. Took forever to get our drinks. $354 later, we left wanting to get a slice of pizza.
It was okay the chicken wings were bland the pig and a blanket was okay. High price didn't deliver
Nice place, nice people but expected some healthier options.
The whole experience was great. The food was fresh and , handmade. We had a really nice waiter. The dishes were really well crafted. Each element and sauce worked together. It was a little loud and the cocktail was just okay. I was pleasantly surprised when the bill came; it was lower than expected.
Me a city snob was blown away with this place. We love it :)
Literally why aren’t you already on your way to eat here?
First visit and will go back. Waitstaff (Chrissy?) was a delight. European flair to the menu. Perfect place for a little bite and cocktail.
They have solid food and great cocktails. We'll be going back.
Service was great. Fresh ingredients presented nicely. Nice selection of cocktails. Our table was reDy when we arrived. I wish the menu had more offerings.
Nice place, could use more decor to spruce it up a bit. My food came out on the warmish side, not hot, however it was good and drinks were as well. Would definitely recommend to try.
Nice meal and good food. Drink service was a little slow.
Great cocktails. Limited menu- especially for vegetarians
Never disappointed at Slow Hand! Great food and drinks.
I love the vibe of this place and great cocktails. I would say though that the food is too heavy! They should have a little bit more variety and some healthier options. Those would be reasons we wouldn’t go back often except for drinks. My friends feel the same.
It’s my favorite place in West Chester. Great drinks. Great ambience. I’m going there again tonight.
The menu is inventive and fresh, and there are always some vegan options.
Hand crafted cocktails are delicious.
Service, from everyone in the restaurant, is always attentive without being intrusive.
Fatima, our server, was the Best.
Staff, food, and drinks were all awesome. Waitress helped us decide on some of the small plates that we should try. Everything was great.
Amazing server! Our party doubled in since throughout the night and they accommodated it!
Very casual, almost rustic in its appointments, which belied the outstanding meal. The Scottish salmon was mouth watering!
We dined here to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Our server was lovely and very attentive. Food was great until entrees. I ordered the pork shoulder which, much to my dismay, was mostly fat. My nephew selected the chicken which appeared to be undercooked and The pickled carrots didn’t seem to compliment anything; we took most of it home to reheat later. My mom ordered the salmon which was beautifully cooked but the banyuls vinegar overpowered everything. The belly bombers were a big hit! Overall, we had a good time but dinner was a bit disappointing.
Fabulous food & drink in a lovely, simple industrial farmhouse setting with a good music mix. Outdoor seating available. Well-spaced and good precautions for these current concerning times. A mistake of the wrong drink was corrected by removing charge and bringing chosen one (gotta say, the first was gorgeous...too bad not my taste). Menu is not extensive, however changes seasonally with interesting twists and offerings. A touch pricey, but we chose to indulge in a decent portion of the menu (had to try that/that/that!). We are glad they are still here, and look forward to more regular visits...even eventually with other friends.
Delicious brunch! We didn’t have to wait long, yummy drinks and our waiter was so nice!
Our meal was great, drinks even better! Perfect for Sunday afternoon brunch.
The food and drinks were fantastic. Will definitely be back.
Slow Hand knocks it out of the park every single time and this visit did not disappoint! We were celebrating our anniversary and our service was amazing. Drinks — so good! I always love to take the recommendations of staff on what to order. Had scallops for dinner and the banana dessert. So so so delicious. Still dreaming about how delicious everything was!
Scallops were not cooked, the temperature inside was cold
the menu could be improved. maybe change some of the items occasionally. it is always the same food. the mussels special was amazing
Good was just okay. Hush puppies were over cooked Fatima was a great waitress. Loved music.
