   This was my second time at Slow Hand and it will be my last. We got mac and cheese as an appetizer and was served a burnt/ hard brick. I got duck as my main course and only took one bite of it. The duck was super undercooked and the lentil side tasted awful.

   Very nice drinks. The Food is okay and the menu a bit sparse. The restaurant is extremely loud / uncomfortably so.

   Great food but terrible service. The waitress had no clue what she was doing. For every question we asked about food or drinks, she had to go back to the bar/kitchen to ask. She didn't even know what cognac was. Very disappointed.

   Not it. Which is such a bummer cause the inside and ambiance is amazing. We just went for Sunday brunch. It was completely empty besides my husband and I and another two top. Our server was so cute and nice but omg the service was so terrible. I get it's a college town, I get it's Sunday. But we all waiting and waited and waited while the servers hung out and drank and snacked at the bar together while our drinks just sat there. Our first order came out incorrect and had to wait 15 mins for new food. Our drinks came after our food arrived, because of said chatting and drinking. Our entrees were ice cold and fried food when it gets cold is just a bad bite. My eggs Benedict were drownedddddddd in a whipped mayonnaise and vinegar concoction. It was terrible and I couldn't finish it. The burger bombs were amazing though, and the drinks when we got them were correct were decent. I didn't love that I asked for a second margarita with no salt rim, then had it come with salt rim, then couldn't get our servers attention cause it was hang out hour, then took it to the bar myself and had the bartender dump it into a glass with no rim while dumping the salt along with it into the bottom of the new glass. So that wasn't yum. We won't be back, I hope this place gets better cause it's really funky inside and the concept is great.

   Food was good. Dessert could have been better. Prices a bit high. Atmosphere very nice and inviting. Server was pleasant and friendly but should really get more familiar with the menu. (She noted that it was her first night working there.)

   Tav is truly the best bartender. Great personality, works super hard , and makes the best cocktails!

   3 of us ate. Mixed reviews on the plates. Consensus that the hush puppies were too dry, although the accompanying remoulade was good. Duck confit also dry. Pork belly was quite good. Chop salad very good. Desserts were great (donuts, but especially the pecan cake). Wines were good--we were driving so we decided against cocktails, although there was an interesting drink menu. Dining out is getting expensive everywhere!
