Always a great experience here.
The food was prepared to perfection and the music always enhances the atmosphere.
Service was professional and personal.
This was our first experience at Sloane’s in the Dallas Arts District. We requested a table outside because we like to bring our dog with us. We were accommodated with a lovely table, near an outdoor fire feature. We had a toasty warm view of the restaurant and Ross ave.
We ordered the prosciutto and fig appetizer, tomato bisque, and a pork roast dish. I forgot the name of the pork dish my husband ordered. Good size portions. We often order an app, a main dish and maybe a dessert to share them.
The service and food was excellent. We will go back again!
The area surrounding the restaurant is great for photos, sightseeing, seeing a concert, visiting a museum, etc.
Had a 5:30 dinner reservation prior to a 7:30 symphony. Ran a little late due to traffic but hostess was accommodating when we called to say we'd be late. There was a valet parking attendant available. Restaurant is modern and pretty with scattered indoor seating that is surrounding a bar. I was concerned it was more of a bar than restaurant but that was not the case. We were seated at a high top near the kitchen which was fun to watch. Our waitress, Emily, was very professional and made excellent recommendations. We managed to make happy house and can report the gin martini's were excellent and served with extra care (portioned with 1/2 in flasks on ice to maintain a chill) My husband had short ribs that were tender and fell off the bone, excellent flavor but a little "oily". I had the sea bass Bouillabaisse style. It was delicious. Sea bass was generous portion, cooked perfectly with shrimp and mussels. The broth was very flavorful. We also had the Rustic Milk Bread--DO NOT SKIP THIS. It was so good, butternut squash marmalade better than the average butternut squash flavor. The grilled figs and prosciutto were also very good, light and not overly filling. For dessert we had the chocolate budino that was very rich, a nice mix of flavors. DEFINITELY split this as it would be too rich for one person. Overall it was a lovely evening.
We walk past Sloane's Corner frequently and have wanted to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Sloane's Greens, Oxtail Rigatoni, and the Sole were all delicious. Wish I could remember our server's name. She was great! We will definitely be back.
Great Service, relaxed and precise at the same time. Delicious Tina Tataki to ne shared, followed by great lobster bucatini. The other main was chicken with a mushroom reduction, just perfect. Very good wine by the glass.
Will definitely return next time in Big D!
Outstanding restaurant made even more enjoyable by the excellent wait staff and how we felt we were treated!
Highly recommended and will try to come back!
best lunch patio downtown
The food here is amazing...every time we have visited, and because it is small...it feels very personal. However, it is very load inside during happy hour. We arrived at 6:30 and asked to be moved to the patio. It was a beautiful evening and their outside facilities are excellent...so no problem. The space inside seemed to clear out soon after 7:00...so next time our reservation will be later.
I changed this reservation multiple times and the restaurant accommodated every change. Service was excellent and everyone had a lovely meal!!
Very good foot, wonderful people, and pleasant atmosphere. Very close to the Myerson and Winspear for pre-concert dining. Highly recommend!
Our waiter was very attentive and his drink choices were spot on. My roasted oysters were excellent and the kids pasta with butter and parmigiana was delicious. The bread appetizer was also excellent. Fluffy and buttery served with a squash whipped compote. All was yummy
Wow! Everything was absolutely wonderful. Emily was an excellent server!! We had two great cocktails sure recommended, she checked for my food intolerances and provided options. The butternut squash and milk bread was great as was the lobster buccatini, OMG that was so good, thank you chef! Hubby had the pork duo, also good. We had some great wine pairings.
Dessert was also yummy, I had the banana bread pudding, hubby pumpkin cheesecake, equally enjoyable.
We came for dinner before watching a concert. The place is perfect. Everything we ordered were delicious! Server was awesome! We’ll definitely come back!
Excellent variety, very busy at lunch rush hour, but we were in and out in an hour, no problem.
Braised short ribs and calamari were delicious. Excellent waitress.
We went to Sloane’s Corner to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed! Our server, Desiree, went out of her way to make our night special. The food was absolutely fabulous. We shared the milk bread and oysters as appetizers- terrific. For the main course, my wife had the braised short ribs, while I had the oxtail rigatoni. We both agree that they were both out of this world! In all, it was a night to remember. Thank you, especially, to Desiree for going the extra mile to make us feel so special.
The Brussels Sprouts in a bacon vinaigrette to start (in place of a salad) and the beef short rib a an entree made a fantastic dinner. Food was well prepared and the service was great.
Emily was so fun! She helped with our choices and was very attentive. Great time!
The food is the best we have eaten in Dallas and is consistently outstanding. We introduced another couple to Sloane's and they are eager to return. The food is sublime, the service impeccable, and the hostess accommodating when we didn't want a backless picnic style table outside even though we wanted outside. We love Sloane's!
We had a wonderful dinner, so happy that we got dessert which was delicious
Very good! We had the calamari, salmon, and organic chicken. All very good. Our favorite was the side of macaroni and cheese!
Loved the outdoor setting
Everything was great. Completely surpassed our expectations
Sloane’s is the best restaurant in the Arts District!
From the moment we entered this building , the atmosphere screamed cozy and classy simplicity. The service was perfectly perfect to the very dropped . The waiters loved hearing feedback which was a dose of fresh air . The food was deliciously creamy . And the creativity of how the Manhattan is served was absolutely….. cute and whimsical even . Loved it !
We had a wonderful meal and enjoyed listening to the live music. The food was amazing.
Great food, service & ambiance
The patio is so lovely here.
Service is always great (we had Renee as our server who was so nice) and our lunches were delicious. We ordered the rueben, the chicken sandwich and the quinoa bowl- all great!
Great place! Chicken is the bomb!!!
Great top to bottom.
Great selection of cocktails. Staff was helpful in menu selections. Sitting near the kitchen provided entertainment.
Great food and service, relaxed atmosphere.
First timer. The food was outstanding and the service very good.
Incredible brie and mac and cheese. Good salads and chicken. Generous wine pours. One of the best patios in Dallas.
Made impromptu reservations for Saturday night with the gang. None of us had been to Sloan’s Corner but it had good reviews and I was willing to take one for the team if it wasn’t all that great. As it turns out, we have found a new go to spot!!!
The food, drinks and service were excellent. David was an incredible host with great recommendations. He kept up with our banter and made sure everything was to our liking.
As if the night couldn’t get better, then I see a familiar face: Scott! Scott is the GM at a local eatery, so I was pleasantly surprised to see him at Sloan’s! Turns out he started there a few weeks ago. It’s comforting to see a familiar face in a not so familiar place, Scott made me and my friends feel like we were regulars.
I am eager to head back to Sloan’s with the gang! Next stop: happy hour!
Lovely ambiance outside with live entertainment. Waitress was pushy to move the orders on but laid back with resistance. Hamachi had a fishy flavor. Tomato bisque good. Pork chop and sole very good. Generous portion on the sole.
Sat on the patio and enjoyed live music. Food and drinks were made with good ingredients! We had a really nice time.
Great place to go for dinner in a beautiful building, enjoy a wonderful meal (get the sole) and some happy hour drinks, then walk to Kylie Warren.
