Chic but comfortable wonderful intown setting. The menu is thoughtfully varied with terrific choices from appetizers to soups and salad to entrees and dessert. All of our dishes were expertly prepared. We have dined here several times for dinner and have had a remarkably flavorful meal and thoroughly enjoyable dining experience on each occasion.
I met a colleague here for happy hour. The happy hour wines and appetizers were very reasonable. Their ham and cheese croquettes were delicious and I wish we had ordered a second plate! The noise level was between quiet and moderate, but it was also a Wednesday evening and only a few tables were occupied around us. I would definitely recommend to a friend and will visit again.
Food and service were excellent. Tables very close together so our noisy, obnoxious neighbor made it impossible for us to hold a conversation.
Food are delicious and overall service is awesome! Jessica was our waitress.
We have been twice! The food is terrific. We came back the second time just to get the pasta with pork ragu. And the charred tomato soup is really outstanding. We split a beet salad - it was great! I had the pork chop this time and it was very good. Someone asked me to describe their menu, I’d say “continental.” Also their bottles of wine are reasonably priced for a restaurant. And wine by the glass is a 9 oz pour!
We had a great time! Perfect for pre show dinners. The food was outstanding with very fast service. I can't think about the short rib and gnocchi without wanting our all over again.
We had the 4 course Valentine’s menu with wine pairings and the food and service was excellent!
I wish I could remember our server's name. She was more than awesome. I had a request for them to deliver my wife a little one line message and our server did it perfectly. Excellent experience from the bartender while waiting for our table, the food, very relaxing and nice vibe, the server, the GM checking in on us. It couldn't have been any better.
Thank you for such a nice Valentine's day dinner.
The only problem we had all evening was the host (male). Our waitress, and food were great yet one of the first few moments of our evening was the awkward and rudeness from the host who then seemed to be creating a problem. The incident was quite clear to everyone in the room and made our wonderful waitress lose track of our drinks.
When being welcomed I would have loved a smile and joy to the evening but it simply was not that and we felt more of a burden then a guest.
To end on a better note.
Our waitress and other staff were wonderful. The food was immaculate, and the sweet note to end the evening from the owners daughter was a great touch. We will be back in the future.
Valentines Day. The only real problem was the location of our table with one of us facing the kitchen.
First time having the spicy chicken sandwich my friend had recommended. It was immense!!!
Overall experience was great with one exception. The valet disappeared and thus it took 15 minutes to get our car while standing in the cold. I am certain the management will address this for it to not happen again.
Really did not like lighting for dinner....
Also felt very cold .
Think they need candles & much darker lighting
Maybe white tablecloths
OR just go for lunch
Very good. Perfect dinner before going to the Winspsear. Great service. Food very good
Will be back for sure
Valet a plus
The food was great and so were the drinks. We both had the prime rib sandwich and the tomato soup. There is no doubt I will be back.
This was my first experience at dinner. We have had a few business lunches here and it has been great. On this particular night our server was so nice! The ambience was so relaxing and the music playing set a nice atmosphere. My complaint comes with the fact that 3 people ordered soup and it came out with their entrees rather than before. Also the veggies with my halibut were barely cooked and I feel like for the price the portions could be larger. I love having this beautiful restaurant in our building now though and will return for lunch.
We’ve had lunch at Sloane’s several times but never dinner. We hosted friends and requested a quiet table at the front. Not only were we seated at a wonderful table, but the dinner menu was excellent. Service was also best of the best!
Really great cool spot to get drinks and dinner!
I ordered the day's catch. I'm not confident that my fish was fully cooked. My meal was $32 but it wasn't worth that much.
It's also very loud in there.
Great food. It was nice to see a few changes. Just to keep up the variety. Love this place.
Awesome food and service is what you should expect at Sloane's
Tasty food, terrific service. Walking distance to the arts district, so great place to dine before an event.
Great meal and fun with friends.
Our first visit. Went for dinner. Very chic but comfortable interior with attractive well stocked bar. There were some interesting "mocktail" suggestions on the menu. (It was somewhat off-putting that mixed marshall arts were left on the TV after the college basketball game ended.)
The appetizers and entrees offered wide ranging selections and were attractively presented, tasty and with some inventive flavor combinations.
One disappointment with the service was that the coffee was delivered long after our dessert was finished, despite that they were ordered simultaneously.
Wonderful food and excellent service. If you are attending an event in the Arts District, then this is a great place to dine beforehand. We look forward to returning soon.
A pleasant environment, only negative was having to go to the other end of the office building to use the restroom. Food was good. Short ribs sauce was a little “extra” but the pasta and halibut were good. Service was excellent. We dined before a show at the Winspear and had a nice dinner without being rushed.
A good place to go if you're seeing a show at the Meyerson. You can park in the building and they validate for 2 1/2 hours.
Seriously, the best reservation we could’ve made. Hospitality was fantastic! Hostess, server, and manager were all amazing. The BEST food too. An amazing experience! Thank you!!
Great little place tucked in a beautiful building. Parked in the buildings garage and they will validate your ticket so it’s free!! Perfect for a nice date, we dined on NYE and was an amazing start to the evening! Great drink options and the food was amazing. We started with drinks and the rustic bread (amazing). I had the seared scallops and my boyfriend had the short ribs. There is an exhibition style kitchen so you can watch them cook depending on where you sit. Definitely recommend!
Our dinners (sea bass, salmon, whole wheat rigatoni) were all delicious! The presentation was lovely and service was excellent. We shared the Asian pear hand pie for dessert and loved it. Best of all, we could hold a conversation without shouting. Very convenient if attending the Wyly theatre.
great service . nice staff. seated as scheduled. will refer others
Awesome place, from the food to staff everything is amazing. Nice lowkey vibe with many food options and our waitress was absolutely outstanding.
Having seen Sloane's Corner noted in a recent "hottest in Dallas" write-up we had to give it a try. We went for a late lunch (prior to a theater date at the nearby Wyle) and were pleasantly surprised by the menu, the resulting choices we made, and the attention delivered by the wait staff (thank you Mandy!) Each dish was beautifully presented and uniquely concocted. Spell shout-outs for the yellowtail crudo (flavorful and tangy) and the clam chowder (not all what you'd expect, but that's part of the appeal.) Now we want to return to try a more typical evening menu. Worth a downtown Dallas visit, especially now while the visiting crowds are less dense.
We had the most incredible birthday dinner on Saturday night! The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Thank you to everyone who made my nephew’s night.
Perfect venue and
the noise level seemed lower for easier conversation.
The kitchen went out of their way to make the shrimp exactly like my soon to be 12 year old Wyatt wanted it even though it wasn’t on the menu.
This restaurant is Perfect for Families, solos, groups, date night, birthday celebrations!
You can order a burger or a filet - both I highly recommend!
Love it! This is a lovely place and a great addition to the Dallas Arts District!
Booked this restaurant online to meet up with a friend visiting from out of town. He was staying at the Fairmont just 3 block away. The food and service were both excellent. Depending on where you are seated, noise level is a little high at times for conversation. I would recommend and will return.
This restaurant totally exceeded our expectations. My wife and I travel quite a bit and I absolutely believe this restaurant could be in Chicago, NY, or SF. It’s that good. Never have we tasted such an interesting preparation of carpaccio. Delicious does not do it justice. It was beyond that. The main was the most interesting cut of beef I’ve ever had. The menu calls it a strip loin. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. Very tender with amazing flavor. The wine was reasonably priced. Jessica was our server and is the nicest most knowledgeable person we’ve met in long while. Great place will dine here anytime we are in Dallas
The staff here is so incredibly kind and accommodating. Love having this restaurant option in the Arts District!
The service has been outstanding every time I have been here. The menu has items perfect for lunch or dinner and an ambiance and energy to match. Sloane's Corner was a much needed addition to the downtown restaurant scene. I can't wait to try their breakfast also!
The service was fantastic and this place was definitely worth a shot.
