Sat next to the fireplace with live music having wine with my date! Couldn’t get better
We love Sloane’s Corner. Food and service are always great and last night didn’t disappoint!
Pasta dishes were excellent. The very tasty calamari appetizer is so big it could be a meal of it's own. Service was exceptional as well.
Great little find in downtown Dallas near the Winspear Theatre. You would think you were in a 5 star restaurant. The service from Emily was outstanding along with the food and drinks. 5 stars!
Service was good. Food was great. Live music set a nice vibe. Definitely will be back.
Great last minute dinner! We got lucky and found a reservation outside on a Saturday night. The patio was warm (it was 20 degrees that night) and the fire pits and heaters were going. Live music too. The Japanese milk bread appetizer was amazing and the ribeye was delish. Great cocktails too- the bartender made a wonderful pisco sour.
Food and service were great. Issue was parking. Website states valet available at 5:00. Sign outside says valet available. After waiting went in and was then informed the valet was not available until 6:00. Parking was in a structure across the street and very inconvenient. Would likely not return if weather is cold.
I took my husband there for his birthday, and it was the perfect place to celebrate. The food was out-of-this-world good. My husband, daughter and I agreed that it was one of the best meals that we have ever had. Our server was exceptional, and she treated us like family. The desert was incredible, and the chef even hand-delivered some uniquely flavored ice cream for us to try. Such a great experience - thank you!!!
Birthday dinner. Fantastic.
Emily was an amazing server, knew the menu well, and accommodated my companion's food allergies thoughtfully. Best martini and tuna tartar ever.
Absolutely recommend. Lovely ambiance, amazing menu options for all tastes, clean, personslized treatment, clean barhroom, 5 star experience for picky people like me!
It is easy to award 5 stars across the board. I had dinner last evening at Sloan's Corner before attending the Symphony. I started with the Happy Hour Old Fashioned. A good, solid drink that was well prepared. I ordered the Autumn Salad (1/2 size) and the Braised Short Rib. The salad was good. Perhaps a tad more dressing would have given it a bit of zip, and, sadly, no apples. Regardless, a good basic salad. The Short Rib, however, was to die for. Incredibly tender, flavorful and plated in more of a bowl that contained some root veggies, mashed potatoes and an au jus that was wonderful. I cannot say enough about the Short Rib, its presentation and great flavor.
We were at Sloane’s Corner for New Year’s Day Brunch. It was a fixed price festive full meal. Food was outstanding and the service was excellent. It is one of our “go to” favorite restaurants for special meals.
Everyone can find something they like
Understanding team make you feel like at home
We've been there many times and never were disappointed
Very good experience.
Loved this place
Excellent service and food. Great wine recommendations.
My friend and I ate here because it is close to the Winspear Opera House where we were going to see Sarah Brightman. They were under staffed, but our waiter managed to get us in and out in time for the concert. He was very proficient and friendly. The food was delicious! We shared the Brie appetizer, the harvest salad, and each ordered the bucatini with lobster pink peppercorn sauce. We also shared a good bottle of wine that wasn’t ridiculously priced. I would definitely recommend this place.
Delicious food, friendly service. Can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu
I held my graduation celebration there and they comped a round of drinks and desert for my party. Totally surprised. It’s rare that we get good surprises is our 40s. Have the roasted oysters even if you’ve never had oysters so flavorful. We had kids in our party and the restaurant is kid friendly even after dark.
We had a party of five who all got something different, and everything was delicious. The service was great as well, in a time where service seems to be struggling at many places. Will definitely be back.
Great experience and our Server Deserea was amazing!
Dinner was fabulous. I love the cozy patio and live music.
Went out here for a low key date and loved it. Emily was fantastic and gave attentive service. Restaurant was cute, not too busy, but still had a great atmosphere. Butcher block steak and salmon was delicious. Will definitely be back!
Food and location were good but the waitress was rude and kept pushing us to order certain things because she had a bet with the other staff even though we told her clearly multiple times that we did not want the items
The food and service was great. We asked for inside not knowing it would be so loud. We were in the bar area and it was very loud with happy hour folks. Wish we had sat outside where the ambiance would have been great… next time. Good was amazing. Great portions.
Everything was simply delicious. We had the Milk Bread (11/10), Figs and Prosciutto (6/10), Butcher's Block (10/10), Oxtail & Porcini Rigatoni (10/10), and the Banana Bread Pudding (10/10). The fire alarm went off in the building an one point, but everyone in the restaurant was ready to die happy eating their last meal at Sloane's Corner.
Service was really lacking. Our server seemed to actively dislike us. The websites menu was apparently out of date and that's why we chose the restaurant in the first place. It was pretty disappointing.
We ate outside, beautiful night. The server took our order then disappeared. Others outside had the same experience. Salmon was overcooked in a mess of sauce and potatoes - quite unappetizing. Capalini was out of a box pasta sticky, sauce was flavorful nice size portion.
The service was amazing, the view was amazing. I loved the Salmon.
Food is good and service is professional, but very slow. A colleague and I went for a casual work lunch and it took 30 min to receive our entrees.
100/10 recommend. Amazing food, ambiance and service
Everyone was polite and our waitress was amazing.
The menu is diverse and rich but not too fussy. Highly recommnend the Salmon and the fries are not to be missed.
We enjoyed an outstanding meal and overall experience at Sloane’s Corner last night. The menu is diverse and interesting. We had a variety of appetizers, entrees that included fish, pasta and meat, and several desserts, each was extraordinary! While the restaurant was bustling inside and on the patio, the atmosphere was delightful, not at all chaotic or loud and the service was highly attentive, skilled and well- informed. The live musician was wonderfully additive! This has become our go-to place for lunches during the week, special occasions and simply for a dependable neighborhood dinner.
From the food, to the cocktails, to the service, this place is top notch. Scott takes pride in keeping the guests taken care of, and his staff is wonderful. I've had the pleasure of being hosted by Justin. Justin's recommendations have yet to disappoint, but then again, I don't think anything on Sloane's menu would disappoint.
The Happy Hour wings were fantastic and the sea bass was remarkable.
Looking forward to New Years Day brunch!!
Absolutely delicious!! Our favorite dishes were the Calamari and Tomato Soup. Service was also fantastic - our server was Justin B and he was very attentive, funny, and knowledgeable. I'm looking forward to visiting this restaurant again & next time would like to try some of their cocktails!
Always a great experience here.
The food was prepared to perfection and the music always enhances the atmosphere.
Service was professional and personal.
This was our first experience at Sloane’s in the Dallas Arts District. We requested a table outside because we like to bring our dog with us. We were accommodated with a lovely table, near an outdoor fire feature. We had a toasty warm view of the restaurant and Ross ave.
We ordered the prosciutto and fig appetizer, tomato bisque, and a pork roast dish. I forgot the name of the pork dish my husband ordered. Good size portions. We often order an app, a main dish and maybe a dessert to share them.
The service and food was excellent. We will go back again!
The area surrounding the restaurant is great for photos, sightseeing, seeing a concert, visiting a museum, etc.
