Food was wonderful, waiter moved things around on menu to accommodate my request.
It was a very busy night, table next to us was very loud, difficult to have good conversation. We should have asked to b moved.
Overall, good experience

We came for lunch after hearing and reading great things. Extremely disappointed. Service was marginal, food was disappointing, prices were too high for what you get. I️ ordered the Jumbo Lump Crab Salad that came with “avocado toast and an heirloom tomato salad.” Avocado toast was tasty, but the “heirloom tomato salad” consisted of nothing more than a few grape tomatoes and a quarter cup of arugula. Crab was fine, no seasoning though. Don’t waste your money. This place is nothing special.

Only bad meal I have ever had at SNOB. My fish was dry and hard, even tasted old.

We were seated promptly. Server attended to us immediately. We were given an anniversary glass of champagne. Service was great, and the food was expertly prepared to our request. We look forward to returning to Slightly North Of Broad on our next visit to Charleston.

Truly a very nice place for great food in a warm and trendy place. Service is outstanding without being cloying. The pork chop was the best I 've ever tasted. Definitely worth a try.

Delicious food and beautiful restaurant. My husband's lamb chops were the best we've ever had. My shrimp and grits was yummy and authentic. The service was impeccable from Jeremy our waiter to Haley who poured the what. Don't miss it!

Excellent salad with salmon cooked to perfection. Waitperson could have been more pleasant. She also had to come back to ask which credit card went with which portion of the bill (only 2 people), because she had forgotten

Food was great. Table was wobbly. How can you have a great dining experience with a wobbly table? This brings into question the management's attention to detail.

I’m not sure why this place is so highly recommended. The salad tasted like it was dressed in salt, the shrimp and grits was unflavored, the crab soup was fishy and the drinks were lame.

We had an excellent time celebrating the last night of our honeymoon here. The service was excellent-- very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious! We got the duck and trigger fish special. The duck was the best my husband has ever had, and the trigger fish was delicious and full of surprises! I definitely have a new appreciation for how good lentils can taste. Overall a fantastic experience-- definitely worth the hype!

Consistently excellent food, in an inviting atmosphere, bring us back again and again. The tuna, rack of lamb and duck dishes are all superb. The noise level even when full, allows for comfortable conversation. Service is just right. Some dishes change with the seasons. Always a pleasure.

We arrived at 5:35 for a 5:45 reservation (party of 5). Went to bar to wait, noticed 2 empty 6-top tables. Were seated at our exact resv time at one of those empty tables. Service was very good. We were not rushed... Appetizers served at 6:30, entrées served at 7:15. All appetizers were absolutely delicious (sweetbreads, venison, soup)! Best Cream Crab soup were ever had! 3 of 5 meals were good but not the best we've ever had (chicken, BBQ tuna, shrimp & grits). 2 were outstanding. (swordfish & tigerfish). Glad we went but for the money, would not rush back to eat here again.

Although we were late being seated, the hostess apologized and provided us with a complimentary appetizer that was delicious and one we might not have ordered. The corner booth was sufficiently quiet for us to hear each other and the service/food were great. The menu was good and the food absolutely delicious. Worth the wait.

Always very happy with the food and the service at Slightly North of Broad. I have a B&B in Mt Pleasant and in addition to my husband and i eating there i do send a lot of costumer. Never had a complaint in the 7 years since we started our business. The food is wonderful and we love coming there. Highly recommend this place to anybody wanting a great meal in a great place downtown.

The ambiance and service were very nice. However, I agreed to split a steak with my dinner partner. The owners of this restaurant own another highly rated steak house. One would expect that they know what a good prime ribeye is. Apparently the chef at SNOB does not. The steak was very grisly and fatty with very little edible meat. The other dishes we tried were very, very good, but the main course was a total disappointment!

SNOB is our go-to restaurant that never disappoints ! The food is consistently great,
the service spot on and the ambiance perfect.
The manager, Peter Pierce, keeps the place running smoothly by helping his staff
(that all love him) and by treating customers like family.

We celebrated our mutual birthdays and SNOB was an excellent choice. Service was cordial, attentive and the staff was well coordinated. We enjoyed our meals, both made seafood selections. Although one desert was ordered, we received our own deserts each with a candle. Nice touch. Thankfully there was no singing. We recommend arriving early, beat the crowd.

SNOB is always a treat! We brought a group of friends who had never dined at the restaurant before. Everyone's lunches were outstanding. We were raving about the food and ambiance for days. Soups, salads, fish, burgers... even the specialty sangria were all delicious and memorable. I highly recommend this historic, lively and delicious restaurant.

We choseSNOB for its Low Country cuisine, and it proved to be worthy. My shrimp and grits was a definitive version, laden with ham, sausage, shrimp and heavenly, creamy grits. My wife’s lunch was pleasant, though less native: butternut squash bisque and a tomato cheese baguette.
