The food was incredible. Service was very good. A bit loud. They definitely squeeze as many tables as possible into the restaurant, so it is a bit crowded. Overall, very good.
Absolutely our favorite place. Always great food and service !
Fantastic dinner experience in our 1st visit to the Holy City.
Steps from our hotel and what an amazing dinner.
Great! Ambiance and food was fabulous!!
Fresh local fish prepared creatively and healthy! We will definitely return!
My shrimp with grits was amazing. All four said the meal rated as an all time favorite.
Have eaten here several times when in Charleston. Always great food and service. Hats off to management. Well done southern style.
Food was delicious!
Server was too cute and knowledgeable!
We got out in time to make next appt.
Lovely luncheon!!!
We had a beautiful evening celebrating our anniversary. Callie was our server and we took her recommendations that were perfect. This is one of our very favorite restaurants and again, did not disappoint.
Great atmosphere, service and menu. Will definitely return
Had not eaten here in 4 years. Under the previous owner, the ship and grits dish was the best I have ever had. Now it is a bland dish that I will never order again. Much better and many, many places. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Charleston. My wife's dish, a wahoo, was not that good either. Sad to see such a negative change.
Girls weekend
We had a party of 6 with reservations at 7:30pm. No wait when we arrived. Seated promptly and had one of the best dining experiences ever. Service was superb. Food was extraordinarily well prepared and presentation was great. Desserts were great too. Food drinks and atmosphere were perfect. A wonderful evening with best of friends in a great city of Charleston.
We were welcomed on arrival and seated at the time of our reservation. Service was attentive and relaxed. The shrimp and grits, red pea soup and New Bedford scallops were all excellent. We agree with all the great reviews.
Excellent Charleston eatery utilising local produce to present Southern food in a relaxed atmosphere.
Everything was great, except really should have separate restrooms for men and women. My wife said the restroom, which serves both was disgusting.
As always phenomenal! Food was incredible, service impeccable and great atmosphere! Went on a vacation to Savannah and Charleston to try highly rated restaurants, out of 6 highly rated restaurants SNOB’s was by far the best!
Great hostess. Very friendly and accommodating. Our server was nice, but slow and made us a bit uncomfortable when asking questions about the menu. Our cocktails arrived about 15 minutes after we ordered them. The chowder was very good as was a juicy, rich hamburger and tender asparagus as a side. My companion was less than thrilled with her “jumbo lump” crab salad which was really just an ordinary crab salad. The chicken tenders were dry and flavorless.
SNOB is a great dining experience in the great city of Charleston. Atmosphere is sophisticated but despite its name, unpretentious. Wait staff were warm and friendly and the food is outstanding. As a Yankee this was my first experience eating Shrimp and Grits. Well worth clogging your coronaries for!
Fabulous! The best beef carpaccio and pork chop I have ever had!! The rack of lamb was excellent but nothing tops the pork chop!
Fantastic service and the food was great. Unique menu. I would definitely recommend. Shrimp grits were delicious (huge portion). Glad we visited this restaurant!
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at SNOB, food was delicious, service was great, wonderful atmosphere.
Great brunch, at a fairly reasonable price. Service was great, and my out of town guests said it was one of the high points of their visit.
Wonderful menu & service every time! Make reservations a couple weeks out if it’s a spring weekend!
SNOB always delivers! Paul was outstanding, food was amazing as usual.
Great wait staff and atmosphere. The food won’t disappoint
Wonderful ambiance. Loved the variety of foods on my picnic plate (?), especially the shaved fennel. Wish there were one or two vegetarian options for entrees.
Great shrimp and grits. Also enjoyed the prosecco with the different fruit juices on the side. Restaurant has been there a long time and has stayed consistent. Just make a reservation!
We showed up an hour before our reservation and the hostess was able to accommodate us because of a no show. We started with the clams in a light wine sauce. My friend and I ordered the Berry Sangria special. Both were delicious. Shared the BBQ tuna, husband had the triggerfish special, excellent choices. Our only disappointment was they had run out of the dessert special (Chocolate, Hazelnut, coconut bread pudding), before 6:45 pm. How do you run out that early in the evening? Still baffled by that. But the second choice did not disappoint, chocolate mousse, with a salted chocolate ganache was yummy. Great meal and dining experience.
Best meal we had in Charleston and we went to some great places. Drinks at the bar were generous and not watered down. We were placed at a two seater right outside the restroom and requested a move which happened promptly and with a smile . Great experience !
We went here on our last night in Charleston. It’s one of our favorites and it never fails to deliver. Great food and service and wonderful cocktails.
We are locals. SNOB is one of our favorite lunch spots. Lunch because I am loyal to the Chicken Medley dish. My folks are out of town and SNOB is a must on their dining list. Dinner for my dad because he is all about the SNOB pork chop. And the cornbread is YUM.
Our special treat to ourselves when visiting Charleston. Canadians who love the American South.
Service was flawless and the food was outstanding!
Food was Fantastic. Service was Excellent. Had the Special, Blackened Catfish with Grits and Collard Greens. The best Collard ever. Also the Cornbread was wonderful. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
We visit Charleston every few years and finally were able to get reservations at Slightly North of Broad and we were NOT disappointed. The food was delicious and the service top notch. Well done!!!
Food, atmosphere and our server, Emily, all 10/10. Tradition for us when we visit!
Heard a lot of good vibe about this restaurant and it was well deserved.
The waiter recommended items for appetizers I wouldn't normally go for and they were out of this world!! He also recommended the BBQ Tuna and three of us at the table chose that for our meal! Superb!!
We had a great experience and were delighted to see Paul.
