It was one of the top 5 EVER!!!!
We have never been disappointed with SNOB, and tonight was no exception. This is our ‘go to plzce’ to take out-of-town guests simply because we know everything will be outstanding.
Food was excellent. This is a great place to dine for lunch or dinner when visiting Charleston!
Great food and atmosphere
We had this restaurant recommended to us and it didn’t disappoint. Food was excellent, and the staff were friendly. It was busy so we were glad we booked. Will definitely go back!
All 4 of our entrees were terrific: Shrimp & Grits, Lamb Stew over Grits, Spring Medley with Cheese Croutons, Shrimp & Vegetable Noodle Bowl - plus our dessert of Charleston Chew + Ice Cream to die for. Our server, Brian from NYC, was attentive & amusing. We had late lunch with friends & would love to return for dinner any time! Highly recommend S.N.O.B.
Professional, friendly staff, and delicious food that was tastefully presented. Classy but casual atmosphere. Really enjoyed our dinner.
Another fabulous meal at Slightly North of Broad (S.N.O.B.) The shrimp and grits were amazing, as was the special luncheon that day -- fresh off the boat swordfish over green bean salad. Our server Emily, is truly at gem and the epitome of Southern hospitality and style. A trip to Charleston wouldn't be complete without S.N.O.B.! And that hats are pretty terrific too!
Wonderful food and service!
We picked an excellent choice after reading all the reviews because SNOB exceeded all expectations. My Charleston Crab soup and Shrimp and Grits were amazing! We will definitely go back next trip
We go often to SNOB and it is consistently one of Charleston’s best.
Excellent menu and courteous friendly staff
Never disappointed, d finitely a top ten restaurant in Charleston
The food was good! Everything was cooked very well. I took a star off because the menu is quite limited but it was brunch. The unsweetened tea was perfect and the service was great!
My husband and I were only in Charleston for a few days and one of those days was a Sunday. Friends recommended S.N.O.B. for brunch and we thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp and grits. The service was exceptional too.
We enjoyed our 52nd anniversary brunch at SNOB. Food was amazing as was our server, Chris.
Excellent food, great service, a bit noisy though
Fabulous anniversary dinner! Kienyn was the perfect server and the food was superb.
A Charleston classic! Food was delicious and beautifully prepared. We had to wait about 10 minutes even though we had reservations, and were overlooked for another 15 minutes while we sat waiting for service. We didn’t complain and yet we were still given a complimentary dessert because of the wait. The swordfish was an excellent steak, the clams cooked to perfection, and the deserts were original. Sour cream apple pie and vanilla bean ice cream was excellent. Also located in an unbeatable location, just next to waterfront park. Overall a great choice for an afternoon of site seeing.
Food was great and the service superb. We had made reservations for 1:40PM but was able to get early because our plans had changed.
The atmosphere, service and menu selection were delightful, and this lunch was a highlight of our 3-day weekend in Charleston. We can vouch for the Grilled Vegetable Sandwich with portobello mushroom and the Grilled Chicken and Apple Salad. Reservations are recommended. We’ll be back!
It is always a pleasure to visit S.N.O.B when in Charleston. The place, for lunch for us, always needs a reservation but never disappoints. And with that reservation, one is seated within moments. Eclectic menu, good wine list (including glasses and half bottles) and polished service.
Lively, bistro atmosphere. SNOB continues to be a favorite lunch spot whenever we visit Charleston. The consistency of quality prepared dishes and professional, friendly service brings us back year after year.
Food and service was great. Lived up to our expectations.
We made reservations to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday and we were not disappointed!
Keegan was our server and he did a fabulous job, attending to every detail, equally attentive and giving us space to enjoy a leisurely dinner.
Everyone enjoyed their meals, the snapper was delicious as was the scallops. My husbands lamb was done to perfection.
Drinks were delicious and well made.
We shared creme brûlée and banana creme pie which was to die for....
Sadly we do not live in Charleston but when we return we will definitely go here for dinner.
We have been here a number of times and have never been disappointed. Great food, great service. One of the consistently best in Charleston!
SNOB is always the perfect place to grab lunch or dinner as the menu offers something for everyone! I also love that it keeps everything southern on the menu, even the salads. I always try the special and yesterday’s flatbread was amazing! BTW The renovation is gorgeous; still old but new! Loved all the different patterns and art!
Great service and food, our second trip to SNOB, thanks again!
Excellent food at lunch with fun ambiance and good friendly service. Thanks
Food and Service were excellent . . . recommend the 5:30 time as it was not too crowded nor noisey. . . but that changed (for the worse) by 8:00 when we left. Waitress was very personable and helpful.
The Two ladies had shrimp and grits which was outstanding and to-go boxes were required. The guys had the two fish specials...tile fish and halibut both fantastic. A side of collard greens shared with everyone was delicious. Service by Jeff and the entire SNOB crew was very attentive yet gave us plenty of time to enjoy our meal and each other’s company.
Great little spot. Always enjoy it when in Charleston. Ribeye was fantastic. Cooked and seasoned to perfection. Crab soup was delicious. Make a reservation as it’s usually busy.
Best beef carpaccio ever. And our waiter Chris made our experience that much more enjoyable.
Loved the atmosphere. Had the butternut squash soup and swordfish and both were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend if you’re going to be in Charleston - get reservations in advance!
Absolutely amazing!! Such great service and incredible food!! Would recommend to anyone going to Charleston!
Awesome place for special occasions and great food! We were celebrating an Anniversary and they seated us at a very cozy table in a not so crowded area of the restaurant. Our waiter was very attentive and the service could not have been better! It was an excellent choice to celebrate our special occasion!
Fried chicken and waffles ..... chicken over cooked and dry. Waffle just ok.
$16 price too high.
All around great meal. Casual yet classy. It was busy on a Saturday night and after an intial mix up without an assigned server the staff was very attentive and still had a great experience. Would highly recommend a visit. Loved the appetizers as well as the desserts
We had a great time at SNOB! Food was amazing! Server was great!! All and all best meal in Charleston!!
My friend and I came to Mt. Pleasant to visit a quilt show, but our dining was definitely going to be at Slightly North of Broad in Charleston. Love the seafood, good drinks also. I would definitely recommend visiting there for a outstanding meal.
While SNOB has an excellent reputation - it did not WOW me. It just did not live up to all the hype. Our waiter was amazing, a great conversationalist and sought to take care of our every request. But the dinner took wayyy too long to be served. We started with soup and salad and then we still had to wait a long time to be served our main meal. I had the rack of lamb. The lamb was delicious, but what I was totally unimpressed with were the sides. There were green beans that were good - but I could have cooked them myself and the other side?? It was so uneventful I don't remember. For me the sides round out the dish and these sides fell flat. Overall 6 people were in my group and everyone was happy with their food but since this was suppose to be a foodie destination I was a little disappointed.
