Slay Italian Kitchen never disappoints! The food was excellent as usual and our server Jordan was equally outstanding. The quality of the server makes all the difference and Jordan was a pleasure.

So disappointed service was great but menus weak mostly pizza specials ugh .. no alcohol so beef and wine only. We both ordered fish dishes and were not good very noisy , tight spot. From out of town and will not be back was not cheap better choice s in town

This is such a wonderful restaurant that my wife & I drive from Huntington Beach & brave the lack of parking to have dinner here. Wine, appetizers & entrees are all top notch. Looking forward to our next visit.

Fantastic all around. Started with the house made focaccia, Brussel sprouts and the burrata. The server suggested the cioppino and it was fantastic. Others had pasta and lasagne. Service with Jordan was excellent.

wonderful evening. excellent service and ambiance. green salad perfectly dressed. pasta vongele was delicious but not traditional… leeks add a different flavour than the traditional garlic and parsley. and dry spaghetti is easier to get that great al dente chew than fresh pasta. lots of clams! thanks for a lovely evening!

Great service. Food was very good for the most part. Chicken piccata was a bit overcooked but flavor was good. Very cute place. Tables are definitely close together so be prepared to have other guests super close to you.

Ordered the Risotto and it was soupy and the rice was not finished . Hard and chewy. Brussels sprouts was not finished with any caramelization and not fully cooked. My wife had Pasta Primavera with veggies and it was very spicy , which was not noted in the menu. The focaccia was the best part of the meal. The service was great. I think the Chef was way off his game…… maybe an unlucky night, but we paid for a not up to par meal!

Slay (both Slays) was highly recommended by my dear friends that have become frequent diners.. Brought my boyfriend for his birthday. Our first time! Appreciated the friendly greeting at the entrance, our table was ready, & loved the ambience of the restaurant. A great start! We were immediately greeted by a server. The wine list was recognizable (yay), ordered a bottle of buttery Chardonnay & the burrata & crostini w/homemade jam appetizer! Yummy. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp & fettuccine. He loved it, especially with the generous amount of perfectly cooked shrimp. The pasta was delicate - like melt in your mouth - & the sauce was delicious. I ordered the chicken piccata w/penne in a light but very flavorful lemon sauce. It was a dish that you find yourself savoring every bite.. The restaurant was consistently fully occupied with a lively, but not too loud atmosphere. And to top it off, David Slay took the time to chat with each table of diners! So thoughtful & sweet. We were too full for dessert, but the tiramisu looked enticing.. Can’t wait to return, & to visit Slay Steak & Fish, too! Thank you to all the staff for an incredible experience!

Linguini vongole was really good. classic caesar excellent. fungi pizza just OK but probably we just should have picked a different pizza. The crust was superb which is really the test of great pizza. Service was top notch and that is noticeably harder to find these days so much appreciated.
