absolutely slayed! as an ukrainian person i was struggling to find a place that would actually be a good one and with ukrainian speaking servers i had absolutely amazing time our food was perfect, drinks delicious, and all stuff very nice also i was so happy to hear ukrainian music thank u so much for amazing time we will be back for sure💖

The food was amazing. The ambiance was unexpectedly gorgeous, I did not have an idea of what the restaurant would look like but it was quaint and beautiful. The wallpaper, art and color of the booths all fit nicely. The borscht was a very generous size. The appetizers were delicious and both the salad and the duck were exquisite. I had a hard time choosing between the duck breast and duck leg but ultimately went with the duck leg because it was accompanied by the potato gratin which seemed like such a hardy delicious choice. I was not disappointed and the potato gratin was exceptional, peeling apart like a blooming onion. Will return and try the rest of the menu.

I wanted to support a new Ukrainian restaurant because I support Ukrainian people. But I have to say that the food was excellent! My grandmother was from Ukraine and her potato pancakes weren't as good as what I had at Slava. Lamb was excellent too! And the service was friendly and attentive. Definitely will eat there again!

Amazing experience! We had a lovely anniversary dinner, with great food, drink, and atmosphere throughout. The Ukrainian ceviche was incredibly unique, and the varenyky, duck, and veal are not to be missed. The infused vodka flight was really fun too! (just careful on the pepper-flavored one!)

We celebrated my friend's birthday and the service was amazing but a little slow. The food was OUTSTANDING and prepared with care. I was raised Polish and this brought me back. I love that they give back to Ukraine and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Highlights are the vodka flights, Infused beet cocktail, duck breast, and cabbage dumplings.

Solid experience overall but a little or a mixed bag. Tried to order the lamb, was told they were out (5pm on a Thursday). Said I'd have the cauliflower steak, was told they were also out of that. Went with our server's recommendation of the duck breast. Very flavorful but the side was super salty. We all raved about the chicken crepe. Smoked meat platter was good. Cookie and ice cream dessert fantastic (though our server originally brought us the wrong dessert) The drinks though, wow, all fantastic! Knowing a little more about what I like on the menu, I'd go back again.

I was the first time at the Slava restaurant and it was incredible 😍 the interior, service at the highest level, the food is incredibly tasty 😋 the music was a little loud, but atmospheric, I will definitely visit this restaurant more than once!

Slava is an amazing spot for Ukrainians, allies and just about anyone else. Delicious food, awesome drinks and super friendly lovely staff. Highly recommend. Also, the space is gorgeous.

Food was excellent, with the glaring exception of the cauliflower steak. Service was lovely. The level of the music was fun and fabulous when we arrived for dinner. We ate and talked and enjoyed ourselves. At some point--because it's not a party until you're deaf, apparently--they jacked it up to club levels, which was less than pleasant.

Incredible food with simple but deep rich flavors. Everything cooked perfectly. Infused vodka was also delicious and definitely worth getting. Went with a group of 9 and everyone was super happy with what they ordered and the dumplings and pancakes we shared as apps were amazing. Staff was very friendly. I can’t recommend it enough, a new favorite place in the city!

Music super loud, restaurant not full at all, would say about 20 people on it. Ordered our food and drinks and after 40 minutes waiting asked the waiter for what was going on. Replied that there was a back log and that it will take long to get our food. Not even giving an estimate. Asked for our bill for the drinks which we paid and left. Don’t expect to be back and don’t recommend this experience for anybody

This place is not designed to be a loud club! It too loud because of the low ceilings and narrow so people are bumping your table. Also, the cocktails are quite bad at this price point. Particularly the borscht cocktail. Never coming here again.
