Slate is a contemporary American bar and restaurant. The restaurant has two main dining areas. The first is a main dining room that is primarily decorated in dark woods with matte finishes. Everything from the bars to the tables to the walls have wooden accents that give the restaurant a rustic yet classy atmosphere. The second dining area is Slate's outdoor patio, complete with several covered tables where diners can enjoy their food under the sun when the weather is right. Slate's menu is split into two sections: Smaller and Bigger. The "Smaller" section is primarily appetizers and tapas, meant to be enjoyed with a cocktail or two. The "Bigger" section is made up of the main courses and entrée options. Some of Slate's signature dinner dishes are the pork coppa, fennel crusted black cod, lemon pepper linguine, polenta cakes with caponata and grilled flank steak with heirloom squash and chermoula.
