Slane Irish Whiskey takes many of its complex and smooth qualities from our signature Triple Casked process. Whiskey is aged in three varieties of casks: Virgin and Seasoned casks raised by hand at the venerated Brown-Forman Cooperages – and Oloroso sherry casks by way of Jerez in Spain. Once the liquid has been aged to perfection, it is masterfully blended to create an exceptional Irish whiskey.

I went there for dinner on St Patrick's day and there was NO ONE at the hostess stand or a waiter that I could find. I had made a reservation for dinner and wanted to eat something like Shephards Pie. When I got there, there were people sitting at tables eating so I assumed they were serving meals there. I tried to find a hostess, waiter, someone who worked there and couldn't find anyone. I tried calling the place and no one answered. I stood right by the phone and no one came to answer it. Now mind you it was 715pm so it wasnt late yet. My friend and I weren't able to be seated, order meals and eat. We ended up walking out and eating across thr street. I have no idea how the food is but all I can say is they did not take any considerations to other customers except the ones drinking or dancing on the bar.
Food was good. Went for Sunday brunch. No one else was in the place but us.
Great service, ok food. I’d come back here more so for the bar scene, not a sit down dinner.
Chill vibes, nothing fancy during a weekday lunch.
We chose it from Yelp and because it was close to the theater we were going too. Nice surprise! It was Tuesday after Memorial Day Which was very quite but we loved it , delicious HH Sangria, we shared the mussels which were very good , but our happiest surprise was the quinoa salad . It was one of the best salad I’ve ever had! Yum!
I’ll be back .
Love the casual and caring vibes the staff gives off. The food is great. Just a wonderful place to “chill”.
Great menu, the avocado toast is the best anywhere. We went for a Mother's Day afternoon brunch and Mom got a free mimosa. Would definitely dine there again.
This was my second time dining here, and the second time that the service has been sub par. We only saw our waiter when we flagged him down to order and flagged him down for the check. Never checked in, even though we did want more drinks. Like the place though and the food has been good. Probably better to just for for the bar though!
Horrible service. We had to leave before we ordered the food.
We had brunch outside, the weather was so nice! Food was very good, we had the chicken & waffles, omelette and donuts. Only negative was the service. Bartender seemed like she was covering both the bar and the tables so had to go searching for her for utensils, water refills, check etc. overall was pleasantly surprised though !
Had a great brunch here. We showed up a little early, but our server accommodated us anyways. She was wonderful— attentive, sweet and funny!
Lackluster sports bar dressed up like a cocktail lounge. Terrible service, so-so food and cocktails. We prefer its predecessor, Whitman and Bloom.
Food was excellent, not the heavy food I was expecting. Great service, love the atmosphere
Something for everyone to eat & drink
Will definitely return
I always go back to this place! It's great for light dinner, delicious cocktails, and get togethers.
It was magical
The food was fine and the service pleasant, if informal. It's a place for young people, though - very loud music and better suited for large groups than pairs.
Service was great but food was greasy and not flavorful
Good food and ambiance for brunch with old friends on Sunday in NYC. Our third year in a row.
The food was excellent as usual, I'm pretty stingy about pancake temperature so I was happy to see how melty the butter was. Service was a little slow but we weren't in a rush. Will be dining again-great for a Sunday morning brunch with a flight of mimosas!
This was my first time at Whitman and Bloom and will definitely be back! I had a 7pm dinner with a colleague. The service was funny, friendly and just the right amount of space/attention. We ordered from the small plates and sides sections of the menu. We also order from the classic and seasonal cocktail list. The food was very tasty and drinks were well mixed. It was surprisingly not too crowded so we were able to have a conversation at normal volume. First impressions are important and W&B hit the mark.
Service wasn’t great. I don’t think the waiter liked us. Another waiter had to take our order and bring the check.
Should of stuck to bar food that was great but the calimarai was chewy and the cheese meat plate was soo tiny it was hard to share between 3 of us. The waitor was too atentive and kept interrupting us even when we gave signals not too. The ambiance was great as well as the decor. Downstairs had a live band and it was gray to move down there after dinner.
I would go there again but stick to bar food and drinks.
The food was great, but the service was pretty shocking.
- Guy brought the wrong drinks - twice
- Turned out they didn't have any beer on tap... 15 minutes after ordering
- Then billed us for the beer they didn't have
- They brought the wrong kind of tea
- There were kale leaves in the tea, which shouldn't have been there
All round, very underwhelming service. I probably won't go back.
Warm and friendly service by Jason (first night on the job, no less) matched by a cozy/casual atmosphere. The house made fettuccine with wild mushrooms was a winner... perfectly cooked and delicious. Also enjoyed the grass fed burger and house cut fries. Went back later in the evening for desert and were treated to another very nice experience. Nicely done!
What a great find for food, drinks and ambiance in the NoMad area!
We sat at bar, good cocktail
Food ok. Very loud
My wife and I met up with two friends for dinner on a rainy evening. The traffic out was horrible but the service inside was friendly. The food tasted good and portions were sensical. We got a nice semi-private table with a view. I would go again, given the chance.
Saturday Brunch on our way to the theatre district. Great food, great service, and wonderful atmosphere.
The food seemed creative and tasty but the kitchen/server made an accident in not leaving sauce on the side as requested so the dish had to go back. I hate it when I have to eat my food alone while my dining partner watches then have to watch my dining partner eat her food. They should have taken both dishes back and prepared so both were delivered hot at the same time.
Great service. Great food. Well priced.
Went for Sunday brunch and had nice ambiance. Not too loud. Attentive wait staff and food was great!
Food was very good. Waiter helpful, entertaining and attentive. Enjoyed a very private table. Recommend highly.
This was the second time I've come here for brunch. The food is tasty but the kitchen seems to have difficulty coordinating when it's prepared and the service, though friendly and apologetic when they mess up makes enough mistakes to be frustrating. Last time the French toast was cold and dry. This time, my friend said her chicken was delicious and moist, but the waffles completely cold. This time I had ordered avocado toast but was served eggs Benedict. When I pointed out the mistake I was told they'd rush the order, but it still took at least 20 min to come out. They kept apologizing, but still. Once it finally came out it was delicious, but my friend was already done with her meal! It's frustrating because the food is good, the price reasonable, and the service really nice, so I want to recommend it, but because of the glitches, hesitate to do so!
The fettuccini was AMAZING! We also got a delicious roasted cauliflower as an appetizer, it was divine. It was decorated for Halloween in a very tasteful and attractive manner. Every drink we got was unique and yummy!
Visit to NYC.
Casual place, good food for good value. I ate a ton of food for the lunch pre-fix ($11) which was an entree and two sides. Definitely recommend. Nothing fancy but good sit-down lunch spot.
My adult son and I had brunch here recently. I had the vegetable flatbread - a delicious flatbread covered with well-seasoned vegetables and goat cheese, topped with 2 perfectly cooked sunny side up eggs. My son had the lamb sliders, which he said were really good, and he's a critical diner. We also decided to share (we were really hungry!) the french toast with carmelized bananas, the only less successful plate. The toast was cold and hadn't been sufficiently soaked in the eggs, so it was dry. The bananas were delicious, though! The service was also attentive without being intrusive, and for brunch in this town, the price point was really good.
Had a get-together with 7 friend. We had a great time. Easy to hear each other. Nice food and drinks. Great value for money.
