Skyvibe launched the first rooftop, restaurant, and lounge destination residing on Main Street, Laurel Maryland. We are in the heart of the City of Laurel’s Historic District. Situated in an attractive 84-year-old renovated building, Skyvibe’s owner preserved many of the original aesthetics within the renovated structure. Skyvibe’s formation was inspired by its owner’s deep love of the City of Laurel, people, food, and community revitalization. Great food and drinks, Great service, music and an amazing ambiance. The grits are A1!! 10/10 overall! We will be back!

Waited for water for 30 minutes. Food took over an hour. Drinks came after the food. Waitress was very nonchalant wouldn’t recommend to a dog.

The restaurant is nice and so is the staff. However, we planned on certain foods (because my children are picky eaters), but when we arrived, they had a different set menu and refused to make items on the regular brunch menu. Also, the server told us that one of the menu items was incorrect and did not come with eggs. When we finally settled on what everyone would eat, our food was NOT what was on the menu. The menu said jollof. When we asked about it, we were told it was fried rice. After tasting it, it was rice pilaf. Unfortunately, it also tasted like boxed rice. We waited almost 30 minutes for a hot chocolate and a Shirley temple. The hot chocolate never came. I really want this place to succeed, so I am hopeful this was just an off day.

The service is really what spoiled my first visit to this establishment. I was super excited about going because I had seen such great posts on social media. Upon arrival we were not greeted by a hostess, we actually waited over five minutes for the host to arrive at their post, they then confirmed I had a reservation and gave my party of two the option of a table or the bar. We opted for the bar. Upon sitting at the bar we were not greeted or offered any water. We sat there for over ten minutes watching the employees make drinks for others (who were seated before and after us) before I asked, “who is our server” to the nearest employee behind the bar. They responded with, “it’s supposed to be two of us, but let me get you some water”. From there service was provided. We decided until brunch service was over to get access to the regular menu. We ordered wings and fries; which were fresh and seasoned well. The music was good and the vibe was cool. I’m willing to give this establishment another try. Maybe I will try a less busy day to see what type of service I’m provided.

We actually did not end up eating because when we arrived, we found out that only brunch menu was available and the brunch menu is limited (and overpriced). We will try to come back for dinner because it seemed like the food would be better for dinner time.

Omg the food was excellent but it everything came out so cold except the eggs. Even though we were the first table of the day. We sent the cold food back and when it arrived hot it was Amazing! The vibe was great in the restaurant and upstairs in the hookah lounge. The DJs were great and kept the party going. We really enjoyed ourselves and will go back.

The first time I visited Skyvibe, I was impressed with how flavorful the food was. Although there was a long wait, the quality made it worth it. However, I went back yesterday and was quite disappointed; the food was unexpectedly sour.
