Beautiful views of the city from the rooftop!
Amazing experience. Went for a bday, the food, the atmosphere, the weather on the rooftop was even amazing.
Waitress was great too when I told her my date had a bday. Brought her out a little ice cream cake(i has some too).
Would def go back again!
Perfect location, service from welcoming doorman to host to wait staff, flawless and tasty dinner with an amazing view. And well priced too! Can’t be beat!
The view from the rooftop deck was fabulous.
Great food, great service, great view from the rooftop.
Loud, good view, nice wait staff, basic bar food, they put us next to the noisy air conditioning unit.
Food was very good. Only issue was they had a special offer on the menu for Happy Hour Drinks but then wouldn’t honor it. Ambiance on the rooftop was excellent.
Great location, decent food, great happy hour, but HORRIBLE service. Server tried to up-sell us on everything instead of giving honest opinion on choices. Never came back to check on us, never refilled our water, I had to get up to get items from the bar. I understand poor service when there’s a big crowd & they’re short-staffed - I’ll still leave a 20% tip - but that wasn’t the case, he walked around like he was walking in mud. Good thing we had plenty of time to get to our event.
Had a roof top table; fantastic view! music was played a little too loud, made for difficult dinner conversation, but the overall experience was wonderful.
Wonderful!! Prime Rib was superb. We had a party of 10 which can sometimes rattle nerves but our wait staff was on point. We dropped a glass that broke...no sweat. They got it all cleaned up and made us laugh. Then we had a jiggly table...no problem, moved some tables around and got it handled with a smile. It is my opinion that a good restaurant is marked by the mishaps of larger parties and how well the staff is equipped to handle that. They certainly stepped up to the unintentional challenge and not once did they make us feel bad about it. All aspects of service were done with a smile. The food was excellent. I will definitely be back!
If I could give less stars I would.
Worst ever! Bad bar food...
Over charged.. slow service, they forgot items we ordered and it just did not taste good.
I booked on open table and it had a decent rating..
First time open table let me down.
Fabulous meal with an incredible view
Worst dining experience EVER. Service was literally non-existent. Frustration was the main item on the menu.
Great atmosphere and live music was great also. Would recommend
Great food & good prices.
The atmosphere & view are amazing
Gluten free options are extensive
Love Skyloft OC! Jose was our Server and he was kind and went above and beyond to ensure that my medical dietary restriction was met... he really cared! We are definitely going back!
Great food and service
Great food- fabulous service-fun atmosphere! Dena was phenomenal!
Our server Jacob was just right. Friendly, not hovering. Knows his bar menu well with good suggestions. We did reserve just in case the rooftop was not available. I was surprised that the dining room was pretty much empty given that Pageant is running now and we were there at peak time to eat before attending. And we were rewarded with a rooftop table.
The chicken lettuce wraps were odd. The iceberg was cut in triangles too small too use as a wrap and the romaine stalks not wide enough to make a tube. The chicken was good. Sweet and just salty enough.
My salmon was just a little too overdone, but tolerable but the cherry glaze was different and good. If I order that dish again, I would admonish to have the salmon not cooked too long. The corn salsa and Yukon mask were pleasant enough. My wife had the Caesar. She liked it is best I can say.
I think I will reserve this for out of town guests for sunset appetizers and cocktails although my very best friend likes lunch here as well.
The ambiance really makes up for food that was just ok.
The food was very good and the lunch special is a great deal.
I would recommend this restaurant to someone looking for ambiance over food. The service was good, the view was grand, but the food is just adequate.
We have been to the Skyloft rooftop many times for drinks but this was the first time we dined inside. We had a party of 6 , 4 of which were our teenage kids. The hostess told us “your table is over there” and pointed in a general direction not to be inconvenienced from texting on her phone. After 7 minutes of sitting with no menus or server we had to get up and ask for one. We were told “we will have to go find you one”. Once one finally arrived she told us, sorry, I was late to work today so there wasn’t anyone to help you. Mind you, there were 3 bartenders adjacent to us doing NOTHING. We ordered a variety of food... salads, appetizers, hot entrees and sandwiches. All of our food was awful and particularly the ribs that were 80% tough white fat. When we showed our server the amount of fat and if it were possible to order another item we would be glad to pay for she left to talk to her manager and never returned. We were then told it was time for her to go on break and someone else would come help us. It’s one thing to have one or two small things that need worked on but the staff, service, ambiance and food quality left us all saying in unison “ we are not coming back here again”
Skyloft has become our go to place in Laguna. We love the food, ambience and view. Last visit we introduced three friends to the Skyloft!
Great menu and a fabulous view. If you are a burger fan, they have one of the best in town. Happy hour offers great food and drink deals.
Food/drinks were great, our waiter was wonderful and the DJ was amazing!!! A+ for the DJ :-)
One Down Side: Please DON'T allow people to take their drinks to the dance floor. Some people get sloppy drunk and make a mess out of the dance floor.
Not a good feeling having alcohol between my toes and smelling like alcohol because someone bumped into me and spilled their drink on my back.
We were seated immediately. Food was fantastic. Servers were very nice.
Excellent food and views but be prepared to wait for the food awhile!
Great views, food and service. All of this and a very reasonable expense.
Really enjoy this restaurant. Always a go to when we hsve have visitors.
Prompt hostess check-in with attention to our preferences was a great start to our friends' reunion. Our waiter, Mike(?) was friendly, attentive & made us feel like VIPs. Happy Hour was delicious we stayed to dance! Thank you Skyloft OC
Will be going again! Perfect evening. Delicious food, breathtaking view, and the best DJ ever! It’s hard to get all of that in once location, but Skyloft delivered. Already planning a girls night out there.
Amazing atmosphere watching the sun set. Salmon was superb. Followed up by watching a new favorite band - Slapback. A fantastic evening.
Skyloft was a cool location. Just a heads up this is a sports bar with food and not really a restaurant. The burger was super greasy but if you go into it thinking it’s just bar food it’s not that bad.
A great place for the View and music, the food is to homestyle needs more zest for the location..
The food and table service were fine once we were seated. The handling of our reservation was quite unpleasant and detracted from the experience. Mother's Day. 1:30 reservation for the brunch, 2 adults and a toddler. Because of the toddler we made a special request for an outdoor table. When we arrived we were told the outdoor seating was not reservable, "first come," we would have to wait and there was already a line. The hostess advised us that it was clearly stated on Open Table, so it was our own fault. Okay. So we asked to be seated inside. We still had to wait, but were offered a high top table in the bar. Not good for a toddler. as not even a high chair would work. This was the best they could do. So we said we would wait for a table outside. We were then told to go upstairs to a different hostess and put our name in!! So we did. Toddler in hand, and the Mother's Day flowers. I mentioned our 1:30 reservations and it was explained to me a second time that it was clearly stated on the Open Table website that the outdoor seating was not reserved; our bad, we would have to wait our turn. Okay. Silly us. It would be about a half hour. We were told to go back downstairs to wait and we would be texted when a table was available. We did, toddler and flowers in hand, and were herded to a place out of the way to wait. Eventually we were called, went back up stairs and were seated -- and told the brunch was now closed! We ordered off the regular menu, the server was great, none of this of course was his fault. We did feel a bit like herded cattle by the time we were seated, but we made the best of it. Not quite the experience one wants for a special day. I thought the toddler might be a problem. He was great throughout, never made a peep. Bless him. Before writing this review I went back to the Open Table website and checked. There is a nice box to indicate special requests, and absolutely NO indication that outdoor tables are not reservable.
Mother's Day was fantastic... sat on the roof, perefrct view... our waiter wss great... highly recommend
Wonderful meal atop the rooftop area. Sheltered and with great views of the coastline and sunset. Perfect.
Easter brunch was awesome!
