The food was delicious, beautiful restaurant and excellent service. Our waitress Bryan was great.
Food was great. Loved the atmosphere and our waiter Alan was very funny and attentive. Cant wait to go back.
From beginning to the end this place is grade A, Aj the manager is great and knows how to give great service. The service was amazing my server Christina is awesome she’s really good, I don’t have time to describe how great the food was OMG! Overall I can’t wait to go back and enjoy the food and great service.
We had the best waiter Allan very good at what he does. I will invite people there on Allan a lone. The food was amazing love the song selection.
Ordered the fusilli vodka pasta & the sweet potato truffle fries were absolutely delicious! The owner Mike was so nice. He stopped by the table to ask us how our meals were & we were impressed on how nice & attentive him & his staff was. Definitely coming back!
Beautiful atmosphere..but overpriced..it would be awesome during the summer with the doors pulled back and to be outside with the view and cocktails
Atmosphere is the prettiest ever! Service was awesome and the good was delicious.
Incredibly kind staff and quick service. Generous portions
Our waitress was sweet and nice but we waited 25 min before anyone came to our table to evem give water. Service was very slow and it wasnt that busy. Food was good but not great for price. Best part was 80s music and singer..
I would recommend Skyline to a friend IF they were looking for a nice view, the location of this place is great and on a WaterFire night must be amazing. With that said, the food and drinks were good, could have been better for the price. What I did not like was the manger who was creepily standing around by a corner table all night. Our server was new, so I did give 4 Stars for service, but that could be questionable seeing some of the other service in there. I would recommend the view, nothing else really.
Beautiful ambience. The renovation looks beautiful. Our server was pleasant. I thought it was their Valentine's special but I misread the advertisement. The stuffing on my baked stuffed shrimp was kind of dry/ overcooked. The mashed potatoes were good. His chicken marsala was delicious. I wouldn't pick what I had again, but I'd definitely go back. Entrée prices are reasonable. Overall I think it's a special occasion or nice date night out.
A++++ Across the board! The decor, food and service was outstanding. Skyline is truly a class act and the remodel is like candy to your eyes Mike & Scott have done wonderful things and I cant wait to have my next party there!!!
What a hidden gem! We loved it so much here and were treated so well. The owner went around to all tables to check in and make sure everyone was happy.
Great food & ambiance! Went for Valentine's day & had a great experience. My friend & I were handed roses when we walked in. We luckily sat next to a singer they hired & had delicious speciality drinks. The food was delicious but I would say over priced. You're paying for a great ambiance but overall it was worth going!
Karaoke with Missy Elliott funky white sister
Went on a Valentine’s Dinner with my boyfriend, beautiful restaurant great service, amazing food, our waitress was a doll I believe her name was Kristina. There was karaoke going on so it was a little bit loud but we didn’t mind.. definitely coming again!
AFTER 8 MINUTES OF BEING SAT I HAD TO REQUEST SERVICE (IT WASN'T EVEN BUSY), THE TOMATOES AND MOTZ CHEESE ON THE CAPREESE SALAD WERE NOT FRESH AT ALL AND COULD NOT BE EATEN, THE SALMON WAS EXCELLENT HOWEVER WHEN WE WERE ASKED IF WE WANTED ASPARAGUS WITH THE FISH WE DID NOT KNOW THAT IT WOULD COST $8 EXTRA FOR EACH PLATE, AND THE DESERTS WERE OLD - NOT FRESH AT ALL - ALSO COULD NOT BE EATEN - SO VALUE? NO COSTING US $120 WHEN WE COULDN'T EAT 50% OF OUR MEAL. SERVER WAS FINE AFTER FINALLY ACKNOWLEDGING US
Never had a chance to eat any food. Arrived and we're seated right away with water served. Waited 15 minutes, and went to bar and got our own drinks. Waited another 20 minutes and got up and left without another person coming to our table. There were 4 tables with customers in the entire restaurant. Approached the manager and he offered to comp, but had enough of Skyline. Never had this happen in 40+ years of dining out. Came with high hopes for a nice dinner....left disgusted.
Love this place and wish them the best especially when the good weather comes.
This is now my favorite restaurant in Providence!!
I loved the food, the portions, the ambience, the service...
Great ambiance and unobtrusive waiting.
It was good but not great. We went for Restaurant Week so the price was great. Would be very nice when you can sit outside for a cocktail.
Food was heavily portioned. great for restaurant week!! i deff recommend
Food was amazing and service was great too. The venue was nice but the lighting was too dark and the neon colored blue seemed to overpower the only lighting that there was. I couldn’t really see my food, venue was more of a night club than a restaurant.
The apps were the best part (antipasto board and fritto Misto). Main courses were good but sauces were too sweet. I was thrown off by the decor and music choices. I felt like I was in a 1990’s Miami nightclub. Awesome value for restaurant week though!
My first time at Skyline in the opening days of the restaurant and I can tell this will be a successful restaurant with what Mike has done. The Miami-like vibe and modern ambiance was fantastic and a different feel from what I’m used to. My friend and I both were impressed before we even sat down. Then came the food. Together we got Sunday Meatballs, a chicken Caesar salad, the saltimbocca, sirloin, lava cake, and white chocolate mousse. Everything was fantastic and we took more than half of all of that home. Kerri (as I remember) was a fantastic waitress and Adrian was very hospitable giving us information about upcoming events and telling us about Skyline. Will be recommending to friends and family ASAP.
I had my friends birthday party there last night, and no one even come by to wait on us for 20 minutes. And when the waiter finally comes to the table and took our orders. It took forever for the food and drinks to come out. And because it took so long, some of my friends had to have their food to go. The food was not cook properly. The paella and baked stuffed shrimps was under cooked and taste burned. And when we asked about splitting up the check at the end, the waiter refused to do it and try to lecture us. They need to improve their quality of food, shorten ticket time and better training for their waitstaff.
We felt very forgotten as customers. Even with a reservation, we were seated late. They forgot our drink order and tables were seated, fed, and paid their checks before we received our meal. The food was enjoyable, but the experience was lacking.
Skyline was a fun place. You could tell it was a venue for special occasions and did not provide everything like a regular restaurant. Meaning the waiter did not know the names of the wines or liquor that they offered because it is has a limited variety due to being a venue. We were fine with the house items. I must say all the staff were very accommodating. My husband and I went for the last Waterfire of the season. We were treated very well and able to come and go to view the Waterfire.
Everything just work as it should. I’m glad the “mandatory” $20 Valet parking has been reduced to $10, but really, the price of appetizers, dinner, drinks, and desert should offset a mandatory parking fee.
Excellent!! Food was outstanding and very generous portions!
The restaurant was wonderful! The food was outstanding.
Went to place with a reservation with my daughter to celebrate her birthday made reservation on open table and it was closed!
It was our 2nd time enjoying a dinner at Skyline at Waterplace. This time it was with a friend that flew down from North Carolina. He was thoroughly impressed with the restaurant atmosphere, beautiful views, customer service and of course our meals that were excellent. My fiance and I agree that next year we will be having our wedding reception at Skyline at Waterplace.
We had reservations at 645. We finally sat down at 730. She had the steak fungi asked for medium it came out rare. I had the swordfish it came out well over cooked. Finally got to eat at 830. Servers were doing all they could but it was obvious they were understaffed and it was obvious that the kitchen was just pushing plates out and not presenting anything of value.
The service was not very consistent, the server was pleasant however and did his best. We had asked for water and it was brought to us about 1/2 hour later. The app and entrees came out in quick succession, making us feel rushed to get through the meal. The reason for this may have been that we were seated in the tent and food was being brought from somewhere else a few stories down in the restaurant. Overall, it was a nice evening and we enjoyed our time there, the calamari with sweet chili sauce was wonderful as was the salmon. No cocktails can be had when dining in the tent, something the restaurant should seriously look into remedying.
My first Waterford. Great experiencing it at Skyline.
Just not a good experience at all
We arrived early and were unable to be seated immediately which was fine except when we camped back 45 minutes later we were seated at a table that was available when we arrived. The waitress was running around frantic and busy. My husband and I had the penne with vodka sauce and added chicken. The pasta was dry, with very little sauce, that did not taste like a pink vodka sauce and the chicken was extremely salty. Also very disappointed in the atmosphere the restaurant was closed for a wedding and we were seated outside under a tent. Very disappointing and won’t be going back!
