The view from the Skydome is great and the food was superb as was the service. The night we visited the air conditioning was malfunctioning. The portable units helped, but it was a little too warm for our liking.

It was a wonderful experience, we had an 8pm reservation but wanted actual window seating so while they adjusted our seating we had a drink at the bar, I had the skydome Rita Mango flavored and my man had Makers Mark Neat before we could finish our drink our table was ready. We had a spectacular view and ordered the crab dip which was superb however instead of getting it with the sour dough bread we switched for the multi arsenal mini bread that came with the hummus we then moved onto the main course which I ordered the Salmon which was prepared perfectly and mashed potatoes and my man ordered the Caesar salad with steak…Everything was wonderful including they validate parking. Date night was superb!!

Wonderful!! My wife loved the music. The flatbread appetizer was almost a meal unto itself and outstanding. Our meal, I had the ribeye and the flavor was superb. Really didn’t need the steak knife offered it was so tender. My wife had the roasted chicken which she felt was overall outstanding. We finished the evening with shared chocolate mousse which we thoroughly enjoyed. Finally, the staff were all extremely courteous, friendly, and helpful. Can’t even begin to say enough about the ambiance. Overall, this was my wife’s first time to see D.C. at night. The Skydome exceeded all expectations!

Overall, good experience. Def paying for the novelty & view as restaurant rotates. Could use some tidying up on hotel roof right below restaurant Good food- tasty. Fair service- had to flag waitstaff several times: water refills, place order, missing one entree.

View is nice, however the vinaigrette makes the watermelon salad sour, so if you like sour stuff, order that.

Overall rating 8/10 Immaculate views from areas of seating Food was delicious. We had crab dip for appetizer. I had the Salmon with mash potato and asparagus... melt in your mouth delicious My husband ordered a burger WELL DONE and he was served a RARE Burger. That was my only downside of the evening besides it was a bit warm but it was not unbearable

All the food was COLD!! Even the hamburgers! The selection and menu choices were not appealing and bland!! All entrees should have been hot and prepared with care! For a holiday event and for the price of this event, it was severely lacking and disappointing!!

We went to the sky dome for the special 4th of July VIP event. The food was mediocre, none of the food was labeled for allergies so we had no idea whether we could eat most of it or not. We had to take a chance because staff didn't seem to know either. The view of the fireworks was fine because everyone thankfully sat down and were respectful, but only after a number of people had to yell and tell people to sit down. In all honesty, we could have seen the fireworks better from our hotel room and not $400 on this experience. That definitely put a damper on things. We ordered a bottle of wine thinking that we could use our hotel credit at the restaurant, but that is not true, you cannot use your hotel credit at this restaurant and I wish we would have been told that. It was a little disappointing that this was a VIP experience and some people showed up in their athletic gear, they're cycling shorts and shirts, and any number of outfits that took away from the overall ambiance. I definitely appreciated the people who made the effort to look nice. Overall, it was an extremely overpriced waste that I will never repeat.
