   8 off us in New York to celebrate my husbands 50 - the restaurant also provided a smal cake at no charge . we had a fab eve .

   Basic night club selling food, very music so loud couldn't talk or hear each other, hosts just shout at you .. service? What service had to go to bar myself, waited 20 minutes for menu,, host didn't come back after 40 mins left.. Very disappointed ...

   Before you are allowed up the elevator, you MUST check your coat, which is a $3 fee per coat. At the time we went (5pm) it was so early that the restaurant (really more of a bar/lounge) was empty and it wouldn't have been an issue for us to have kept our coats - it's just another way of making money. I felt as if we were treated gruffly by the elevator/bouncer/security person. We should have turned around at this point and left at the coat check. The food was fine - we ordered fried calamari, sliders, and pizza. The waitress was attentive and pleasant. View of the city was very nice. Each app was about $14 and a pitcher of margarita's was $89. I will not be going back.

   Good vibe but disappointed in the views. No opportunity to go to roof terrace and outdoor pool with 360 views of Manhattan. Take I.D with you even if you are over 25! Need it to pay for anything over $50.00. Very small and no separate dining area. 3.5 - 5

   Nice rooftop bar! Sky Room has a beautiful view of NYC! Different ambiances for you to chose what fits better your mood that night. Music is fun, food is good and servers are kind! Wine is served in plastic glasses and mine was really hot. So I would not order it again. Also, OpenTable clients are only allowed to stay in a bar downstairs without the nice view. Found it really inconvenient and had to negotiate with hostess to stay in the rooftop area, which, of course, was my intention when I reserved that bar.

   We got there right before 5pm and had to wait a couple of minutes until they opened the elevator. Was not packed for a Friday happy hour, which is great for me. My group had a good time until the happy hour was over and the music got really loud and we couldn't hear each other anymore. It has a great view, nice ambiance. It is not a restaurant, it is a bar. Doorman and servers were pleasant. But if you are a man don't come with shorts, I saw 2 guys being turned away.

   The bruschetta was delicious and the silders were good but the service was horrible. Our waitress kept walking by ignoring us. At one point we tried to make eye contact with one of the five employees just hanging out at the bar so we could get something. We ended up asking a gentleman who I think was the elevator doorman because he walked by and looked at us. We noticed other people sitting for a long time too before getting their orders taken. The hostess was also not welcoming or open to any form of discussion and brushed me and my friend aside when we tried to ask her about something. Good food but definitely not good service.
