Great dinner and our server, Nicole was wonderful!
Roby was the best waiter!! Food was good- great sunset
We had a group for 10, with a reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes for our seats. Once food was ordered it took about 45 minutes, until we received our meals.
My husband and i have enjoyed many Serg group restaurants and Dockside is no exception. We got to see a beautiful sunset, had a great meal and our waiter Mark was terrific!
Lovely views especially at sunset. Lovely food. Knowledgeable waiter. Good atmosphere. Highly recommend.
A great setting at dockside with outdoor dining available. Walks along dock can be taken before or after dining/drinking. Service was excellent starting with a warm friendly greeting upon entering the restaurant. One of our better meals/experiences for our first visit to Hilton Head.
View is beautiful and food was perfect. Our granddaughter loved the playground. Looking forward to next time.
Fabulous food, service and bar! We did early dining & they have a superb menu! The Serg Group continues to provide the Hilton Head Island area with great, professionally managed restaurants with excellent food, great service, well stocked bar service and friendly family atmosphere! We highly recommend the Serg Group Restaurants!
Best waiter ever!!! Sent an email with his name already
Charning funny helpful fast and efficient
Royal service with a smile
Great food. Great service. Great view. Great value. One of our favorite places on the island!
The location and water views are great. We enjoyed a 1/2 dozen steamed oysters for an appetizer. My spouse had a pear salad and the chicken liver appetizer as her entree. She said the chicken livers were great. I had the broiled seafood trio which was good.
Mixed reviews. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her grouper while my broiled seafood trio, shrimp, scallops and flounder was was boring and tasteless. The seasonal vegetables and regional rice and beans were also boring and tasteless. Happy hour wine was expensive at $8.25 Chardonnay and $9.75 Sauvignon Blanc per glass.
Very nice spot on the water with indoor and outdoor dining. A cool night so stayed inside. The server had indicated they got a new smoker so decided to try the ribs. They were a dry rub with a few homemade sauces on the side. A nice big rack came with Mac and cheese and cole slaw. I liked the sauces but found the ribs over cooked and dry, disappointing. Also had she crab soup which was fabulous. My wife had the fried chicken which she loved. We were too full for dessert. Seafood on tables around us looked very good.
Great food. The mussel appetizer was amazing. Lovely vines and great lunch pricing.
You have listed our FAVS.
Food - very good but potatoes not hot enough
Atmosphere - need sound reduction material
Value - excellent with mussels Starter
Service - very good a bit mix up with Entrees
I had eaten previously at Dockside on Valentine's Day. Considering the date, the service was exceptional. Friday, my table of 3 waited over an hour and a half for our meals. When they finely arrived, much of the food was lukewarm and my daughter's lobster tail was partially uncooked. It was not the waiter's fault (besides there are food runners). He checked several times for us. He said the kitchen was overwhelmed (" practice run for the season"). Until you can get it together, we won't be back.
Fantastic meal...Alaskan King Crab was divine! We requested Balsamic Vinegar with it and they actually had it! Made our visit here very memorable and just the way we would eat at home! The selection of dining areas was fantastic..atmosphere was fun and the overall energy was perfect for this early dinner!
We will be back!
Had a great evening our dinner was perfect I recommend the Salmon w/Sweet Potato & Collard Greens. Our server gave us excellent service and she was such a delight to talk with since all of us are originally from Ohio! Our friends are on the Island part time and this was their 1st time to Dockside and they loved it.
Steaks were tender and my ribeye was so good! My wife really liked her shrimp and grits! Believe me she is a snob about good shrimp and grits and Skull Creek has the best on the coast
We thought the food was average. We expected a better culinary experience.
lovely lowcountry atmosphere.....very efficient server...nice menu options, food usually consistant.......great view
Was expecting a more "upscale" experience. We were early arrivals for dinner inside. Found the facility to be too cold. Music playing was too loud and acid rock for the most part (just so you know my wife and I like rock bands but this was not appropriate for a late afternoon Sunday meal). We frequently visit Serge properties and have never been disappointed, until now, especially since this was a special occasion.
Had piano competitor and wanted him to have a nice meal and Hilton Head setting
Seated promptly, service a bit slow, but it was a busy Saturday evening. I’d gladly wait for the Oysters Rockefeller. Don’t let the name fool you - different than the traditional dish. Oysters are fried and served over creamed collards. Yum!
Great dinner as always. Only disappointment was that the prime rib was no longer on the menu
I had the Tile fish special and it was delish!!! The view is amazing!!
Waitress seemed over tasked. Disappeared for awhile. Took a long time between being seated and ordering. Long wait for food and it was inedible. Asked three times for a water bowl for my dog and the last time her response was ‘I’m too busy’ I’ll get someone else to do that”
Meat was dried out. Potatoes were over cooked and cold. I asked for cheese on my sandwich and it look like they put it on the top of the bun and put it in the microwave til it was a goop .
Bun was like something of the bottom shelf at the grocery store.
Never got a drink refill.
Good variety of seafood and barbecue
Great seating outdoors
Miriam was very attentive. The food was delicious. Definitely will return.
Dinner was delicious for all. Service could not have been better! Taylor was our server and was so personable and knowledgeable about menu. Upon arrival and being seated we noticed an open table by window and the hostess was kind enough to accommodate our request for table change. Very good job overall.
server was having a tough day- didn't help with the overall perception of our guests
Nothing bad but uninspired food for sure. Beautiful location and I really wish I could say the food was worth the trip. The fish and shrimp were broiled fine but lacking flavor, inspiration and presentation. For the high prices I expect more.
Always great food, service, ambiance and that incredible waterfront location and views!
Sat outside...enjoyed the view and the food!
First time there. We heard many good things but we were disappointed in our food. The stuffed flounder was way overdone and all I could taste was the bacon and peppers. Husband ordered the special, cod, on top of a mushroom and bacon and the bacon was too done. We may visit another time.
One of our favorite places on the island when we are visiting. We will definitely be back asap. Lawson, our server was the absolute best. We had her last time so it was great to see she was still with the company. Excellent all the way around.
Skull Creek Dockside is one of our favorites... always good and fresh - never disappoints
Very good menu. Table was right up against the wall, sort of cramped. Server was excellent.
Quality of our dinners was OK but nothing to write home about. We tried the bacon hush puppies first, which we won't try again. Kind of blah! I find that Dockside (& Boathouse) are both better for brunch or lunch than for dinner. At dinner time we'd much rather patronize Wise Guys or Frankie Bones.
