Only positive is we were seated on time and server was personable. Service was slow (3 hours). Appetizers did not take long, but entrees did. Seafood steamer had cold crab legs and hard garlic bread. Server returned after warming and garlic bread was now soggy wet at bottom of container. At the end, sever mixes up our payment with another table. As we sat waiting fir her to return, another diner walked up and hand her their payment. Instead if completing our transaction and returning to our table, she turned and went to process the other payment. The idea that we had to pay $70+ just for gratuity for such a poor experience will lead me not to try them again.

Getting the table was quick. Atmosphere was good but the tables were a little dirty inside. Our waitress was fairly quick with drinks but not so much with the food or checking to see if we needed drink refills or anything else. The food was good when it finally arrived at the table.

Food was great but salad was warm when it came out but waitress did replace it. Soup was so good but had to ask for a spoon. We had to ask for napkins a few times before getting them. The waitress was good but just all over the place but would go back again and the portions were small

Service was mediocre. I ordered the Taste of the Bay Trio, which was $28. I thought the portion was very small. My mom ordered the NY strip steak with scallops. Her steak was cooked to medium and even with that its was tough. It was very difficult to cut with the steak knife and difficult to chew. The collard greens were undercooked. The restaurant was not very busy while we were there, but service was definitely slow. Maybe we were there on a bad day. There were three of us and our bill was $158 (including tip). I think there are other options in the area where would could have had a better meal and experience for this amount. I am not sure if I will go back, as this was my first time eating there.

The food was great and the level of the live music on the pier was perfect. Our wait staff was very attentive - but I think they were understaffed causing some significant delays in taking orders, collecting bills, etc. All members of my party had worked in food service at one time or another so we were understanding. And as a I say, they were as attentive as they could be.

The bloody mary's were awful and were sent back. The creme brulee did not have a crusty top like it was supposed to. Not as good as last summer as far as the food quality.

Beautiful view but took 2 hours to get our food while we had to entertain small, hungry and tired children. Restaurant wasn’t packed. We barely saw our waitress as she acted very frazzled and extra busy. Too busy to bring the basics like straws and napkins and couldn’t find her to ask ourselves. Food was disappointing for the cost. We’d go back just for the ambiance and drinks !

What a great way to spend a warm afternoon, looking out onto the water with amazing food. The soups and dishes with rockfish and crab were to die for. The service was so attentive, even at the dock bar where we stopped to watch the soccer match and have another drink. You won't be disappointed.

Our waiter was awesome! He was quick and efficient and took very good care of us! This was our first time there and we were super pleased. I had the Rockhold Rockfish and it was amazing!!! My husband had the rockfish sandwich which he raved about as well. I think the restaurant was somewhat noisy because there was a party going on. It didn’t bother us though. We will be going back. Looks like a fun place to go to in the spring and summer months!

They had the main menu and the Valentines for 2 menu to choose from so the options where good. They had speciality drinks with choices of fruity or Spicey! The harpiest started playing right as we were leaving but sounded nice! The overall experience was fabulous and our service was very attentive.

Went for the special four-course Valentines Dinner for Two. Dinner was spectacular. This is not their regular menu. Have been here several times. Food is generally decent but not amazing. This dinner, though, was amazing. Went two days before Valentines Day so not crowded. Service was welcoming and helpful. Beautiful water view. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely lunch at Skipper’s Pier. The food was delicious, especially the Chesapeake chicken: chicken breast with crab dip and bacon on a pretzel roll. My husband really enjoyed the fried shrimp which had a light crispy coating. We will be back for the excellent service and the beautiful water views. Audrey, our sever, was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.

What can I say? I made a reservation for 6 people on Oct 23, we drove 50min and when we got there it was closed. Nobody called us, the reservation was confirmed, there was nobody at the restaurant. So disappointing.

There are a lot of seafood of places on the water in Maryland. All of them are decent but I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful all of the food was here. While they offered standard Maryland fare they also had some nice imaginative culinary choices. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Service was great too!

Another great experience at Skipper's Pier! Our party of 6 had a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival at a nice outdoor table. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and our food was delicious and served very quickly! Skipper's is a neighborhood gem!
