Food was just OK, service very slow with only few tables to serve. Our bill already included a 20% gratuity which is odd for a 2-person table and an additional overcharge for paying with a card (not sure anyone in this day and age pays cash at such a restaurant!). Overall, I'd not recommend Skinos to anyone unless you like being skinned :)

We liked it a lot, the belly dancer was an icing on top of a cake…one thing I wish is that the DJ played more of diverse genre and mix it up. Otherwise it was a beautiful place and the food and service was worth while for sure. I’ll definitely go back there

I was very excited when I first arrived at Skinos— the restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing and their greeter was very kind and patient. However, once we were seated I was very surprised at how my guests and I were treated by the rest of the staff. We found ourselves having to repeat ourselves constantly and were met with an apathetic, dismissive and almost annoyed attitude by the main waiter. Several of my guests were ignored by the waiter when attempting to place orders for food and drinks and once they were placed it was an issue getting refills for the bottomless drinks ordered with the brunch. This would’ve been okay, however we were drawn to this venue because of the bottomless brunch offer to begin with. Finally, the attitudes only adjusted when offered an opportunity to charge us more. For instance, we were not informed of their fee to cut a birthday cake and only found out once we got the bill. When my friends brought out the cake, the waiter became very happy and eager to cut it for us. Imagine our surprise when we found out there is a fee. The photographer also charged us twice for pictures taken without telling us of the price prior. Again, gorgeous venue but very subpar hospitality.

Hi Mary, We're really glad you had a great first impression—our team is known for warm hospitality, which is why we’re surprised and regretful to hear that didn’t carry through the rest of your experience. We'd love to look into this further—if you can email us (a photo of your receipt helps), we’ll get to the bottom of it. As for the cake fee—it's a flat $25. We don’t charge it to upsell or surprise anyone. It covers the handling, storage in our fridge, presentation with sparklers, pausing service so the team can bring it out and sing, then cutting, plating, and serving. For us, it’s not about the fee—it’s about respecting the labor and service and utilization of our space. We hope you can understand as this is an industry standard, especially in high volume restaurants in New York City

Great ambiance. The DJ wasn't overpowering. The food and drinks were great. 1st time for brunch, but won't be the last!

I always enjoy date nights at Skinos. This was our 5th visit since my 1st time going there for my birthday this past February. The staff is always amazing, the food is always at proper temp, fresh, and delicious. Cocktails are just beautifully done and taste as good as they look. Archie made us feel so welcomed, and Thanks again for the complimentary shots. I will be back again very soon❤️

We had an amazing time for my friends birthday. The restaurant was so beautiful. The ambience was amazing. The restaurant is picture perfect. Our meals were delicious and our drinks were tasty. The presentation of the food and drinks were unique. The bathroom was even picturesque. We will be back.

The only reason I’m giving this place two stars is because the decor was genuinely nice. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The food was disappointing, and the service was surprisingly poor given how empty the restaurant was. There were only about 10 people inside — including my family and the staff — yet it still took 30 minutes just to get a glass of wine. For a $300 bill (two adults and a toddler), the experience didn’t come close to meeting expectations. I’d suggest skipping this spot until they’ve made some real improvements.

I came here for my birthday and it was the best experience I’ve ever had. Great food, great service and my favorite, great music. This place is beautiful, great for pictures. I rate this place a 10/10, I definitely would recommend. I can’t wait to go back there again.

Service was amazing. Food was incredible. Drinks are too overpriced and the bartender automatically adds $5 gratuity on one drink. I always tip btwn 2-5 on drinks depending what I have but automatically adding $5 to a $25 drink is absolutely crazy.
