So disappointed that the Sunday special changed so much. Not much else to choose from except burgers now. Really don't like a 3 course special with a larger price tag. We left because my elderly friend didn't want all that food or a burger or sandwich. Why the drastic change

Our expectations were not high but the place was crazy busy, especially the bar! The food was a little slow once seated just because of how busy the place was. Their beef was absolutely delicious!!

Went to Sixth Street Grill after UO graduation. Food was great and so was the service. Tacos and salads were especially excellent!

Traveling for business, I was very pleased when I walked into the Sixth Street Grill. From the moment I first stepped into the doors, the ambiance and friendliness of the staff was present. During my first visit, I dined with a co-worker and her family. The manager Jeremy was extremely detailed in discussing the top items on the menu with the group as well as answering any questions we had. If something was not right with any of the food, he took care of it the way restaurants should. This was and is my favorite dining spot when traveling for business to Eugene. Their Hazelnut Cranberry chicken salad is my favorite along with the bacon wrapped dates. I have never been disappointed with anything ordered from the menu and would highly recommend anyone to dine at the Sixth Street Grill. I became so familiar with those working there, I felt as if I were walking into the bar from Cheers which took the homesick feeling away.

I'd spent the day filming outdoors in Eugene and needed a quick dinner before heading to my hotel to crash. I'd driven by Sixth Street Grill a couple of times so decided to give it a try. It was 6pm on a Friday evening and the place was very quiet. There was sports on the TVs in the bar and, rather oddly, an Italian-language movie (with subtitles) in the restaurant. The serving staff, although friendly enough, looked a little depressing in their black shirts. This is clearly not a 'fine dining' establishment so I think they should lighten up on the 'look'! However, it matched the rest of the restaurant which just felt cold and completely lacking in any ambiance. Service was good and the food came quickly, perhaps the result of the place being so quiet. The beer cheese soup was tasty enough but its color made me suspect the hand of Velveeta in there! However, the Haystack Burger was delicious. Juicily pink but not underdone, the patty was very tasty and nicely set off by the blue cheese, the ancho BBQ sauce and fried onion strings. A very generous portion of fries came with it! It was all washed down with a blackberry hard cider, one of a wide range of local microbrews available. At just a shade over $20 the check was a nice surprise too. If they could just lighten up the ambiance this could be a nice place to dine!

This was our first dinner with the new Sunday dinner menu. The sirloin steak was very tasty but substantially smaller than under the old menu. Formerly you got an entree with vegetable and starch for $10. Now you also get soup or salad and a small dessert for $14.95. Stills good deal. Be sure to ask for the special Sunday menu.

The kitchen was not able to handle the Mother's Day Brunch. Waited over an hour for our food.

We had the French Toast with blue berries and mascarpone, along with traditional eggs benedict. The food was definitely good and reasonable. I wouldn't say it was the best French Toast and eggs benedict ever, but it was a good value, and I would go back again.
