   One of favorite restaurants in LA. Food is always amazing. Wait staff is excellent. Francine the proprietor is always there to help with food and/or wine selections. In additon to an extensive wine list featuring Italian wines with prices at all ranges, they always have a good selection of reasonably priced options. On this visit, we had the hamchi crudo which was delicate and delicious. We also really enjoyed the snapper which was probably the best snapper I have ever eaten. And the braised beef ravioli was terrific. It is located in an old Nike factory in the LA Arts District with high ceilings and the bar is comfortable and inviting. Already planning our next visit.

   food is mediocre Only one of the servers was rude. The restaurant is spacious and can fit over a hundred customers, but it has only 1 restroom stall.

   Hosted a business lunch with clients and enjoyed dining in their patio. The zucchini blossoms were a great start, the pastas were amazing, and a nice compliment with their green salad.

   The food and service was great. The room was a bit cold and cavernous. If we hadn’t been there to catch up after not seeing each other for 4 years, it would have been perfect. I will return when not looking for a more intimate setting.

   Small-ish portions, okay food. Compared to similar restaurants, the food was okay. Good! But nothing spectacular. Good ambience and noice level. Felt intimate and relaxing. The place was not full but the service was splendid. Great service and severs.

   we brought guests and ordered the Gem salad, meatballs, sausage pizza, ravioli, tagliatelle, swordfish and lamb chops. the food was excellent and the swordfish was even better than before. Service was attentive.

    My wine had a cork rusted you at the bottom of the glass, and I almost drank it. Our server thought it was funny and did not even provide any comp for it until we asked for it . The food was mediocre, but I will not be back. Just not good experience for a first time foodie at this restaurant. By the way, we were also seated at 8 o’clock despite the reservation be at 7:15.

    Food in Brera was great! Starters were good, lamb chops and swordfish were excelent, deserts were perfect!! Because of the food and atmosfere you should visit brera! Our only complaint goes to service, durinh the dinner 3 waiters changed for our table. At the begginig of dinner we asked are we limited with time, waiter said no. But, they wanted to bring us bill before we picked deserts and finished our bottle of wine. On the other hand, they were helpful, polite and kind in communication.

    We love this place. The food and drink are always excellent. Great bar and refined wine list. The last few times the service has been less than expected. Last night, we had to call the waiter over every time we wanted to order a drink or another bottle of wine, but he had no problem constantly upselling the food. We were 6 and wanted to share. He suggested 6 appetizers and 6 mains courses, which made no sense. He pushed us to order two pizzas and two loads of bread, which we did not because we know the menu. Anyway, great place. Nice owners. Spotty service. We also recommend the main dining room. Every time we’ve been seated in the back dining area, the service has been lousy. No clue why.

    Wow, very pleasantly surprised! Food was DELICIOUS. We had the ravioli, pappardelle, and gnocchi and everyone loved their dishes. And the cocktails were yummy as well (I had the sasquat 👍🏼) Glad we chose to go here!

    We had to wait 30 minutes after our reservation to be seated. Had to wait a further 20 minutes to be served. The starters didn't come out together so my wife's starters were cold by the time mine came. The tables were not cleared promptly between courses. This was our last night of our holiday in LA and my wife's birthday and the poor experience completely ruined it. It's as if they overbooked even though we had a reservation. I've eaten at some high quality restaurants in LA this week and this is one of the worst experiences we have ever had, it doesn't meet the high standards set by other restaurants. Even the menu felt limited in choice and the food was average at best. Definitely will NOT recommend.

    Food is always great. Drinks are excellent. Only downside is it was a Saturday night and very busy, so much so that we were asked to hurry toward the tail end of our dining experience, which was not appreciated.

    Came here for an early vday with my husband, food was AMAZING. Service was great, drinks were also awesome. Really stoked to see a vegan entree on the menu, the bucatini was 10/10. Super cute warehouse vibe, will be back :) also parking was $5 an hour, not bad for DTLA.

    We have loved Brera for years - since we first came 5 years ago, and this time took friends who had never been before. We shared small plates - Octopus, meatballs, donzelle - and all were amazing. We also shared three pastas - Ravioli, Tagliatere, and Pappardelle - and loved them all, especially the ravioli. We always get the Pork shank and ordered it again this time along with the snapper. We brought wine and ordered sparkling water and coffee drinks after dinner. All were served efficiently and our server kept watch on our water and wine as well as spacing out the dishes. It was a busy Saturday night but we never felt rushed or delayed, the timing was perfect and our server so sweet and provided excellent information about the dishes. Because it was a cold night we sat inside, and found the noise level high - making it a bit difficult to hear one another. I prefer sitting outside, as we have done in the past many times - the heat lamps help warm us up, but probably last night would have been too cold. We got used to the noise after a while. Our friends loved the food and service and I'm sure that they will be back as will we. Valet parking is convenient and super efficient. We never have to worry where to park when we come to Brera.

    No doubt to its beauty and ambience. The service was amazing, the setting was great and very cozy for a romantic evening. Great vibe with lots of people. Food choices were great, so we ordered a good serving of 6 dishes. Hit or miss on about half. The good was we’re great and the others were nothing I’d order again or recommend… otherwise I’d come back here for sure

    Awesome food and great service. Would definitely go back now that we found it. Pappardelle is the dish to get. Everything else was good, but it was fab! Maybe a little too noisy for a date night/talking, but everything else A+.

    This is our second meal at BRERA and enjoyed it completely. We split the orange salad and Donzelle. Both were interesting in a very delicious way. The salad dressing was balanced and complimented the greens and persimmons. The charcuterie was also delicious. For dinner, we had Pisarei and Risotto with duck breast. The risotto was rich but was balanced by glasses of Barolo. Service was attentive without being overbearing. It was an enjoyable experience overall and we'll go back.
