It was good the ambiance and food however we were seated for 20 mins and our server did not come to us until
we asked another server where our waiter was because our order was not taken
It’s just simply a great place. My second time and both times were really good.
Consistently an amazing experience, from the hosts and servers to drinks and food, this place is 10/10.
Adriano was fantastic recommending the pasta and entree courses. The ordering of a bottle of wine set the tone of our meal. He knew that I was familiar with my food courses. Everything was remarkable. We had three desserts since we could not decide on one dessert. All and all a dining experience that I will truly cherish.
Real quality food!
Overall experience was ok, very much overpriced though.
This restaurant is back to pre-Covid standards. Service was very attentive, the culinary skill of the kitchen his self evident, and the ambience is chic and enticing.
Great place and delicious food. Very friendly staff.
We took my father in law to an early dinner before a LAFC game. The service was great and we had a nice table on the patio(not the parking lot). Our sever was so fun and nice, even asked who the vegetarian in the group was and made a couple of suggestions for me. -1 star because even thou the food was delicious, it wasn’t as amazing as I’d remembered and they didn’t have the mini donuts. But over all still a fun place to be on a night out.
Everything about this restaurant is our favorite. The food is amazing and we happily drive out an hour each way once a month to enjoy it. I love the patio and ambiance and the inside is just as lively. TRY THE GNOCCHI 🤤
great room, mediocre food.
Honestly, so worth it. We went there for my birthday and the experience was awesome. The establishment is gorgeous and the service was perfect—good timing on everything and a very team oriented staff that helped one another obviously. The flavors were unique—we ordered the meatballs (amazing!) semolina (light and the fresh bread was delicious) the trio cheese (always a winner) the main entrees were an experience and then paired with the gelato?! 🥂 perfect 🤩
Great atmosphere and nice people.
Just a totally phenomenal experience at Brera as usual. Food and drink were amazing. The summer cocktail menu is imaginative, and very refreshing. I’m a huge cocktail enthusiast and I can’t find another restaurant that consistently comes up with perfectly balanced, unique cocktails better than what I can make at home.
The service was great - we never ran out of water, the timing of our plates was perfect, and the staff was super friendly, helpful with recommendations, and attentive. The ambience of the restaurant is well done. The music is loud enough to enjoy but not loud enough to make you raise your voice to talk.
I know this review reads like an ad but I can’t possibly say enough good things about this place. 3 visits, 3 experiences I remember more than any other restaurant in the LA area. This was my friend’s first time here and she absolutely loved it as well.
Amazing food! Everything we tried tasted amazing and fresh. Definitely coming back to continue exploring the menu.
Loved our meal at Brera. Grilled octopus was perfectly cooked, pizza was delicious. Cocktails are well made, with great flavor combos.
Service and staff are so friendly and great here, but the food was a major let down.
Risotto was super bland. The arborio was way over cooked, yet the dish was watery and not thick like a risotto should be. Had to ask for salt.
Chanterelle dish basically tasted like over cooked stringy egg noodles in chicken stock. Had to return this dish it was so bad and bland.
Gnocchi was mushy and undercooked inside. Like raw dough.
Cacio e pepe was a bit salty and maybe a little too al dente, but the best pasta dish so far.
Actually that and the papardelle weren't bad at all.
Squash blossoms weren't anything special. Tasted like fried stuff with cream cheese filling pretty much.
Octopus was tender, but salty.
Everything seemed to be way too bland or way too salty. Undercooked or over cooked.
Best thing there is the Margherita pizza. Definitely everyone's favorite.
The $8 wheat bread roll definitely isn't worth the price.
Chocolate sorbet tasted like ice cream that melted and was re frozen.
Overall our whole table was pretty disappointed. Really wanted to like the place. The ambiance is great and it's a really cute spot. Maybe just go for drinks.
Very friendly service. A nice place to have a lunch meeting.
The outdoor seating with the lighting made for a beautiful evening. Our server was very nice however it was clear that the restaurant was understaffed. It’s just a sign of the times. No ones fault here. The food came quickly. We ordered the octopus appetizer and it was a bit too salty for our taste. The margherita pizza was perfect but thought they could’ve scaled back the red sauce a bit. The pork shank was very tender but again the cooks hand was heavy with the salt. The potatoes that came with it were cooked perfectly, crisp on the outside and pillowy inside. We passed on the dessert. Valet parking was $9, kinda steep.
Have always enjoyed going here, the food is always excellent.
We had a fabulous time at Brera. The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal. The ambiance is everything you look for in a modern, hip, industrial vibe. Would definitely come back again.
Great all around. Lots of great stuff on the menu and preparation was presented nicely. I will definitely be back
We came with family. Great outdoor space and great food!
The food is outstanding as always! Great drinks and really great waitstaff service. Such a comfortable dining experience.
Ambiance and parking are good. Food selection, taste and value are average.
Love this place, the food and the service are outstanding!!!
Excellent food. Had the Tagliatelle w/Bolognese delicious, savory and good manly portions. Then I had the Milanese risotto with bone marrow (medula is how I know it from my childhood) it was huge and rich, totally satisfying. And what about those drinks? A man can't take himself to dinner on a Tuesday night without trying the cocktails. First up was the nebula, a pretty blue gin drink, really nice and in a straight ahead glass. Then I had the Isabel. Not my favorite glass but damn, nice and complicated drink dry but not bitter or overly sweet. Great restaurant. Gentleman, keep living that Free agent lifestyle!
Great place a must
Really good! Service is friendly and efficient, delicious food and cocktails. Pizza has nice thin crust and tastes like Italy. Ambiance is great. Good spot for a dinner after a gallery openning 😉
Overall good, but some of the dishes were hit or miss
The semolina bread was memorable, hot and fresh
The extruded spaghetti was amazing. Perfectly cooked, delicate sauce, definite winner
The octopus was a bit over-boiled, giving it an odd texture
The waggu beef tartare was good, I’d get it again
The beef carpaccio tasted like roast beef and although the Parmesan cheese was good, it was extremely overpowering
The Helix escargot was below average. Although the escargot itself tasted good, there was an unnecessary cheese sauce on top that masked any other flavors
Overall I might come again, but with so many options in LA, there ar better
Somehow even better than before. Best Italian restaurant in LA.
This place is great! Definitely worth the trip to the Arts District, especially if you want to hit up the great Blue Bottle coffee shop right around the corner after. The parking lot is free and huge and you will feel safe in this spot. The restaurant has an awesome ambience and my party of 3 all really enjoyed our meals. If you are looking for a unique spot to impress business colleagues or a date, i would recommend this spot.
Always friendly staff and amazing food
Food great, ambiance great and location good. My only comment would be the wait between first and entrée courses was a little long
Definitely, not a bargain, instead I felt a little ripped off. Great ambiance, but the food was overpriced and nothing special. I won't be going back. P.S. I VERY seldom write reviews so the fact that I took the time to write this shouldn't be taken lightly.
It was a very nice evening. Great food and drink.
Great! Bartenders engaging, food excellent and a nice selection! Large parking lot and it was free...hard to believe!
We had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and our server was exceptional. We were with 2 other couples who are dear friends. Because of Covid, we had not seen each other for a while and probably took more time at dinner than was necessary. No one was rushing us out of the restaurant so they could turn the table and we were able to take our time and catch up. Would absolutely go again.
