Very urban and hip. Food was good. Overall a pleasant experience
Food is mediocre for the price, appetiser presentation was bad, service takes a long time… would not be back.
Brilliant as always!
Always a delightful experience. Love their food. Service always on point
Birthday dinner with my girlfriend
All around great - food, ambiance, drinks. Would definitely go back!
It’s hard coming out of a pandemic. I think everyone did a great job. I do think the music could be not so loud.
Difficult to have conversations unless the person is front of you. I say turn it down . Good luck going forward.
Had a great varieties of dishes to share for our party of four. Started with the heirloom tomatoes (superb,) octopus over chickpeas, and carpaccio. Dinner entrees were the spinach gnocchi, pappardelle truffle and the eggplant pizza all to die for. Pastas and Pizza’s are their signature items for a reason and we enjoyed them more than the apps. Paired all with old fashions for the boys and pinot noir for the gals. Highly recommend. Our dinner reservation was for 6pm so we got to enjoy both daytime ambience as well as the dimmed dinner lights at the main room!
Always a great place! #1 restaurant in CA!
Great ambiance, good food, dessert, amazing. Service not attentive. The servers seem to have too many tables. Our server was nice, but seemed too busy. The tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had. I do suggest this restaurant, but have some patience.
This was our 2nd time coming here. This time we came expressly for the Grilled Octopus and the Stuffed Zucchini. Food was excellent and the drinks were great also!
The food was very mediocre for the price. I was expecting better. I could make better food at home for a fraction of the price. The ambiance was nice overall.
Our reservation was a last minute one, and we were taken away by how good this place this. The food is phenomenal; pizza and pappardelle are outstanding. Great atmosphere and location, definitely recommending and going back!!
The pizzas are amazing. The menu was excellent and the owners are very friendly and hospitable.
This is certainly one of the best Italian Restaurants I have eaten at.
I will be returning quite often.
Everything was delicious!
Service was great!
Drinks were on point!
All good. Not exquisite, but solid. Would go again.
Very delicious Italian restaurant with a Cozy rustic ambience. I will be visiting again! Great drink menu as well
Good fun, great cocktails and food.
We gave Brera a second chance for dinner last week. We originally went when they had just re-opened after the pandemic shut down. The food was delicious but the service was so bad they comped us some food. This time the had a better-staffed crew for Saturday dinner. It didn't disappoint. We ate outside. It's still a parking lot so I can't give it 5 stars for ambiance. But the food was marvelous and our guest from NYC was even impressed!
Excellent. Attention to detail.
Best Italian in LA.
Matteo and his team are amazing.
My favorite Italian restaraunt in downtown LA. Great food, great wine list. Great service. Last nights food was excellent.
Amazing food and service!
Love the food and service here!
Loved the rustic industrial interior. A bit loud, but very fun and lively. Great food.
Outdoor dining was wonderful, accommodating of our pup, tartare and pisarei were delicious!
The atmosphere was lovely, staff was on point and the food was perfection.
Great food and experience. Prices were a little high but we had an amazing time, wait staff were excellent and outside ambiance was fantastic
LOVE this place great bartenders know about drinks and food, food was really good , we had pasta and steak , steaks by once are min 12 once they are very good I’m not steak expert so I can only tell if steaks are bad or good these were good unable compare others sorry, great pasta their fresh bread is to die for ambiance really nice inside comfy chairs everything was perfect for me probably why Michelin star please do go won’t regret
Came here with reservations for a date night with my gf. We were immediately sat outside in a makeshift patio that was basically the parking lot with some plants and lights. We were sat at a pretty poor table, 3 ft from large, loud groups waiting to be sat, and right next to the patio entrance where servers and guests were constantly coming in and out. Our table was even bumped a few times by guests walking by. We asked to move tables, and our request was denied as they were pretty full. We shook it off and ordered drinks and our food.
My risotto milanese was pretty tasty, as well as our espresso martinis. My gf ordered the vegan pasta dish, which wasn't the best. It lacked flavor and that "pizaz" that would justify the $30 price. I could've made a better vegan pasta at home to be honest. The service was just alright. They were somewhat attentive however they came by and took our water Im assuming with intentions to refill it, but they never ended up coming back with it...so they basically just stole the rest of our water. Even after asking for more water, they never came.
Overall, it wasn't the worst experience. We managed to enjoy our night, but for the price you're better off reserving a table with a nice ambience at Perch, or Zinque DTLA.
The food was outstanding and our waiter was knowledgeable and very engaging, just really busy so the service was pretty slow…..not his fault, I think they were a little under staffed.
I liked the decor, but it was a little noisy inside and hard to hear. Overall it was great. We’ll definitely be back!
The food was good and they were very accommodating with their outdoor space. Other than that, even though we mentioned we were in a hurry our waiter barely checked on us and was slow. We literally kept having to flag people down to get service.
Always a great experience
The owner is super gross. Wouldn’t stop touching me even though I asked him twice and then had the audacity to tell me I was harassing him when I asked him to put on a mask when he was 1.5 ft away from my face and that I didn’t want him to touch me when he kept grabbing my shoulder and literally poking me. The food was SUPER salty as well. There is a million restaurants. Go to a different one.
Food was mediocre at best. Gnocchi was fairly bland, cacio de pepe was awful - not sure how you can mess up such a simple dish, the zucchini florets were so sad and small, and the service was beyond slow. Waited over an hour for our mediocre food to arrived. Asked for bread and to turn on the heat lamp at least five times before anyone helped. Really don't want to leave a bad review but this place had me thinking how awful it was the next day! And it's expensive!! $11 for bottled beer and $22 for awful pasta. We didn't even want to be there for long but had no choice since everything was so slow. Management, please fix your food. Slow service is fine but the food should be worth the wait.
Drinks and food were delicious. Great ambiance. The service was very slow, though. It took almost 90 minutes to get our appetizers. I have been there many times, and this is the first time the service was this slow. The server was kind, they might have been busy. However, guests on the next table, who came much later that us got their food before us. Will come back for sure and give it another try.
So good!! Loved the ambiance
Beautiful space. Food was good.
Great dining and service close to the LA River -- outside eating is excellent
