Cool atmosphere amazing food. Very pleasant and attentive service
Food is always first rate and not just limited to pizza. Large varied menu with lots of vegetarian options.
Great desserts too.
My husband loves the pizza, I love the that other tasty options. This place is perfect for groups because there are a variety of options for meat eaters, vegetarians and those on a plant based diet. Full bar and a good wine list, all at affordable prices.
My girlfriend and I went for Valentine’s Day and had an outstanding experience. Food was delicious, we got the margherita pizza, brussel sprouts, and the cacio e pepe and all we above the line.
Price was surprisingly good especially for the night that it was. We were expecting to pay far more than we did. I give this place a 5-star and will be back next time I’m in LA.
The noise and the density of seating along the wall was unbearable. I had anxiety all night.
We dined before the theater and the food was served quickly. Thank you! Most all the items were delicious! The restaurant was very noisy and the bathroom needed attention, thus the 4 star review. But we liked the pasta, pizza and salad options, service was good and food, tasty.
Food is great, desserts could be better!
Waitress never came to check on us. And it was almost empty! There were lots of staff milling about so it wasn’t a staffing issue. Food was good.
Service is always friendly and attentive at Sixth & Mill. Red and white pizzas are available with delicious options. The unexpected treat here is the fantastic non-pizza menu. This place has some of the best minestrone soup in town. Our group lives meeting here because the menu has a variety of meat eater and vegatarian options that are affordable and satisfying to all! Parking is never a problem.
We made a reservation but the place was almost closed. We stayed since there was nothing else around. The service was pretty bad but the food was fantastic. We’ll try again at an earlier hour.
Kristin, we are very sorry about this experience! We've taken measures to prevent it from happening in the future. Thank you for dining with us, we look forward to serving you again anytime!
Love this place! Food is always delicious!
Staff is friendly and accommodating! This was my 4th visit and can’t wait to go again!
After doing a two hour tour of Lost Spirit Distillery, we walked 5 minutes to the restaurant and was seated immediately and they got us our appetizers in just a few minutes. There was six of us and we all got our orders really quickly and the food was spot on, very good Italian comfort food that really hit the spot. A great option in Downtown, really close to allot of attractions.
I was enticed into trying this place because of the bonus points. I was really hoping to love this place because its in a great location that is close to work and would be perfect for Happy Hour, and honestly it still could be. I have nothing bad to say about the bar... Our cocktails were excellent. The pizza was just average, and I love pizza Napoletana so I really wanted it to be awesome, however it just didn't come together in a delicious way - The crust was soggy and the toppings sparse. The sauce was okay but nothing special. I would not come back here without an incentive.
Pasta dish was average. Would not order again.
Customer service was AMAZING.
WAITER - AMAZING
FOOD - DELICIOUS
Overall - 10/10
The pizza is so yummy and I’m very persnickety about pizza. The sauce to cheese ratio is perfection and the sauce is so fresh tasting. Nice bubble blisters on the crust. Yummmmmmy.
👎 customer service orientation is really lacking here.
At these prices no excuse for faulty service .
Such a nice find in downtown LA. Tasty homemade pastas and delicious and creative pizzas. The ambiance is definitely downtown hipster feel. The price of the food was reasonable for the area. Overall experience was wonderful. The only negative is that we had to pass through 2-3 blocks of homeless encampments (we came from the convention center @ the LA Auto Show that evening). Our GPS led us to a not so nice area which can get a little scary at night. I’m still glad we made it over there and would definitely visit again. I just need to find another route to the restaurant to avoid the shady parts of downtown...
Best authentic pizza in downtown LA!
Great night! Handled a large party (there were 10 of us) and the food and service was very good. We’ll go back for sure!
Good for groups. Nice place to share dishes
Just looking for a nice, authentically Italian-style pizza place where I could take a business friend after a downtown conference. Very convenient location and (so Angeleno but it matters) good valet parking.
Pizza and pasta were classy, not overly large servings. Not the most zingy flavors, but we ordered pretty conservatively, and I'd definitely like to go back when I can indulge my taste for anchovies and chili flakes. Service was very good, and the ambience was the right balance between elegant and informal. Good addition to the downtown/arts district eating options
Kind service. Yummy menu options and an affordable wine list. What's not to like. We have dined here several times and will continue to return. Big fans of this and The Factory Kitchen.
Gnocchi are not heavy or bean-like, more pleasant than usual preparations. Likewise the pizza was light, rather than hearty, doughy, or cheesy. The food was good yet when I left the bill was sizable and I was still hungry. Won't be back.
Fantastic meal. Cauliflower appetizer, margarita pizza and cacio pepe delicious. Cacio best we’ve had anywhere. And very good value. Will definitely be back soon.
We always enjoy stopping at sixth and mill when we are in the area, pizza and pasta delicious, never disappoints. Servers are great too.
Great for a large birthday group. Food was tasty and easily shareable.
Amazing. Get the baba!
This seems a chef driven concept with a strong culinary foundation, but terrible follow through. The pizza dough is chewy and wood fired, and the Brussels sprouts are crispy with a refreshing lemon note. It's just no one in this restaurant seemed to care in an early evening when there were just a few other guests. Seated at a dirty banquet, we were met by an indifferent waiter, who at the end of the meal left us sitting with dirty dishes for 20+ minutes. A chef put her bare hand into a box of some food product brought out by another chef. She tasted the product and then, exhibiting not a care for guest hygiene, went into the box for another taste. All of the kitchen personnel looked as if they wanted to be anywhere but in that kitchen turning out food with compassion. The hostess parked herself at her station the entire meal, and seemed to be watching videos on her laptop. Out the door an hour later we paid $9 to the valet (plus tip) in an almost empty lot. To the owners of this restaurant I want to ask...why bother. Why bother creating a lovely space and a decent menu, only to give your guests a so what experience. Be in the hospitality industry and fight for guest loyalty or close it down and give this space to someone who cares.
Another birthday group success. Six pizzas ordered and shared, drinks (tomato cocktail was great), desserts (ricotta cheesecake the best of the three)
Good strong cocktails and delicious food!
Our server was very attentive and addressed all of our questions and concerns.
The noise level was good but there were not a lot of guests in the restaurant at the time we were there.
5 of us enjoyed our lunches. We all something different. I thought my gnocchi lacked flavor, so I added both crushed red peppers, as well as additional Parmesan, to give it more interest.
We really enjoyed our meal here and will definitely be going back. The pizza and pastas are divine!
Everything was great. I do with that parking could be validated or the it could have been paid by credit card.
Hi there, the valet company that services the parking lot should accept credit cards. I have contacted them to address this issue within their team. Thank you for this note!
