sixth + mill pizzeria and bar
Very good pizza and meatballs. Bloody Marys were not on the Sunday cocktails options. We were told the mix won’t stay fresh so the bar won’t make them. In some form, should be offered on Sunday.
Great food, service and ambiance. Everyone was so friendly as well.
Always a favorite.
Everything that we order was excellent, beyond our expectations.
Great drat beer (lager)
One of the best I've been in awhile.
We really like the place design and architecture.
Server and mgr where great and accommodating
A casual refined Pizzeria with excellent service.
Great place to eat, my wife came here on a Friday after work for date night and it was great. We had been here one other time and had great food and cocktails so we decided to give it another go! We had the meatballs as an appetizer, the cacio e pepe and the pasta al forno along with the scugnizzo to drink (it's basically an Aperol Spritz). All were excellent, we will definitely be back again.
This is my second visit and because I so love two entree, meatballs and arugula salad, I was a repeater. You can share these dishes because truly the portions are quite generous. The sauce on the meatballs and quality of the meat are outstanding and the salad is fresh and perfectly dressed. Olives are a great side dish and the pasta with prosciutto is amazing as the meat is crispy and integrated into the dish. Dessert was a bomb. Service and staff professionalism was a plus. 😍 Love it. Paid parking is a plus in that you do not have to walk down sixth street because the homeless encampment is just down the block, crossing Alameda.
way over priced for pizza and beers - 4 people $150 - crazy crazy crazy
My two Whistle Pig Old Fashions we’re spot on with a lemon and Orange rind. The service is always excellent and wait staff check with you periodically to make sure you’re enjoying your meal. The pizza toppings are fresh and the dough is baked to perfection. If you’re a big eater you will need to accompany your pizza with a salad and pasta dish or appetizer. It equals or rivals other high end pizza restaurants in L.A.
Once again The Factory Kitchen team delivers. Great caponata and Pizza Margherita. The pizza looked plainer than usual Margherita’s, the but flavor, wow. T
I have been here twice in the past few weeks and am SO HAPPY sixth and mill has opened in the neighborhood. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is beautiful. I am a huge fan.
The manager Mattia is the best, he helped us with the menu and was professional and on point! Will advice to everyone to go there and try their amazing food and service
Was tasty but felt bad for our waitress. We waited a long time because she had a full house.
Sixth & Mill has some of the best pizza in Los Angeles. As a former east coaster I’m constantly searching for great pizza and wine, sixth & mill is the place for both. Great service is also standard. Cheers!
This is a great place for a casual meal.
Service is prompt and very knowledgable .
Here's the thing. A restaurant that calls itself a pizzaria needs to be able to crack the code of a crispy crust and the congruence of flavors. All four of us ordered pizzas with delicious sounding descriptions. The final product was meh....the toppings aside, the crust was soggy. Both Pizza Rev and Piology make a better crust. And the topping flavors were flat.
We also ordered desert, specifically the torta (chocolate flourless cake) and the ricotta cheesecake. Neither were particularly good and we sent back the chocolate cake.
One exception. The cauliflower appetizer. That was really delicious.
There are just too many good places to eat in LA - sadly this was just really mediocre - at least for pizza. Maybe other dishes are better.
Service was good though!
Great service. Pizza was terrible. Cool loft space but bright lighting.
My expectations were pretty low considering I ate at Oficine Brera and I thought it was overpriced and the food was 'meh' to terrible. Sixth & Mill is casual and everything we ate was delicious. We came here with 7 people and the waiter told us that everything is to share. Well, maybe for 2-3 people but each plate is not for sharing with 7 people. Anyway, the waiter was super nice and attentive and the food was really very good. I would recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be back.
Great casual offshoot of Oficina Brera
We were really impressed by the quality of the dishes we ordered. Everything was very authentic and flavorful. The U Baba' dessert was simple but spectacular and a great finish to our dining experience. It's a casual place but not as casual as we had 'feared'. Definitely a fun spot for a weekend night out. Only recommendation - get rid of the TV above the bar. It creates a weird vibe imo, when there are football games playing in the background. Overall, wonderful addition to the two other Italian restaurants in the same area!
Great new spot and building. Secure valet parking. Delicious pizzas and very nice staff.
Family style dishes so order a few selections to share. Absolutely delicious and enjoyed each fresh, savory item! Ambiance was enjoyable and hipster sheek. The service was slow from our server who was inattentive and slow. However, the other servers were on it and Helped out for his service. Overall, truly recommend the place!
Food was great. Service was good. Pizza was perfect. Had the meatball appetizer and tried one of the pastas (was a little undercooked) but would definitely go there again and take friends. Great space and location.
The food was fantastic. The pizza was delicious. The crust was light , thin and crispy. The meatballs were juicy and came with this yummy marinara sauce. My favorite item was the mushroom crustini. The mushrooms were tender, savory like butter. The service was perfect. The restaurant had a comfy, friendly vibe. The staff is very helpful and polite. We are definitely going again and again.
We had a wonderful experience at 6th and mill. The food was delightful, as was the wait staff. We are vegetarian, and there are plenty of menu options for us. The Brussel sprouts are some of the finest Brussel sprouts I've ever eaten. Thanks for making it a wonderful night!
Amazing, delicious little gem in a hip repurposed historic building - offering incredible thin crust pizza, gourmet sides and salads. DO NOT miss the cacio e Pepe pasta and the baked bolognese pasta dish as well!
the pizza is excellent and authentic. the sauce is amazing and can't recommend it enough if you're looking for a topnotch pizza!
Great food. Lots of options. Great ambiance. Very nice service.
The ambience of this restaurant is very cozy and warm. The service was great and everything we ate was delicious... especially the cauliflower and calzone! Will definitely be back.
the new kid on the block.............exceptional value and quality. We went for lunch and enjoyed it all...you must have pizza............meatballs and fresh salad a must. The waiter was just too over anxious and became annoying. But the food makes it a must!
Very good place, it serves authentic Italian style pizza in a hip contemporary downtown LA environment. Nice selection of amaro liqueurs.
Great casual spot that shares common wall with Officine Brera. Every pizza we had was excellent. We especially loved their prosciutto topped house special pizza that night. If you come on Sundays, there's no corkage fee for wine. So save money and BYOB!
Pizza crust is known for being soft with a wet center. I prefer crustier. Gnocchi was very good, but not great. I was expecting more. Salads were very good, desserts were very good. Not enough dishes for vegetarian or fish dishes.
I would go back but ask to cook pizza longer!
This was our second trip to sixth + mill and we had a great time as we did the first! Service is really fantastic, we love the menu and the food is great. Cocktails and wine list are very good, but not the most extensive. More quality than quantity. Probably a bit hard if you're vegan or gluten free.
I love the atmosphere because it's a rustic warehouse vibe (similar to Officine Brera next door, but more casual) but it does get a bit loud because of the high ceilings. Probably less than ideal if you're looking for quiet conversation, fun for medium sized groups.
We also love that it is right next to Officine Brera, we stop by there before or after dinner for a drink sometimes!
Good food and reasonably priced. Everything was pretty solid.
Everything was DELICIOUS. It felt very fun and special.
Great casual addition to Officine Bera & Factory Kitchen. Same quality of food & service. Consistently great experience each time I’ve dined at Sixth+Mill.
Yummy and well priced. I will be back soon to try more from the menu.
Mattia and his team have another hit restaurant. The pizza, pasta and side dishes are creative and delicious. The wine selection is excellent and reasonably priced.
Our dinner was so delicious. We requested a tasting menu from Chef Francesco and it was executed beautifully! Thank you.
