Hotel is under new ownership. this was our first time there so not sure what it was like before. Food was great - husband had burger and fries - was substantial burger and hand cut fries. I had assiago chicken which was prepared perfectly (although i would have preferred more arugula and less pasta on side). Service was excellent - the new owner actually greeted us and chatted with us and took our order. Looking forward to returning to try more items. Great variety of appetizers also.

The waitress was curt, was not welcoming and appeared put out when asked to describe a dish on the menu. Main course was slightly burnt. Took awhile to get our dishes cleared and get the check. Wanted to support this restaurant because it is local but will not return.

It just was lacking on all counts. Atmosphere, food, drinks, service were all meh. No reason to return.

We joined the Wednesday night trivia and had a great time. The new chef is EXCELLENT and is bringing fresh flavors and dishes that are so much better than prior offerings. Our server was extremely friendly and very attentive. If you haven’t visited the Six Horses Tavern yet in 2023, you’ll find some really great changes are happening.

This time and venue was the perfect place to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday our server did a great job keeping everyone’s orders organized sorry we didn’t realize that you closed at three but we didn’t feel rushed to get out

Went to see a comedy show here. Food was overpriced and overcooked, comedy was ok but nothing spectacular that made me laugh the whole time.

We had a great time! Jeremiah knocked this one out of the park. His energy and enthusiasm are boundless. He made us feel very welcome. The food and drink was fantastic. Lisa and Joe made sure the service was outstanding as they tended to our preferences. The comedy club was very entertaining and we were satisfied the cost for the evening was well worth the money spent. We enjoyed very nice accommodations during our overnight stay. Six Horses Tavern is a winner!! Thanks for a great experience, Gerry and Mike

We dined at the restaurant for the first time since moving to the area and left thinking we should have dined here much sooner after moving. I ordered fish and chips and my wife pesto salmon. The portion of haddock was generous, and the batter was light. The fries and cole slaw were very good. My wife's salmon was cooked medium as ordered and was delicious. Everything was served piping hot. Service was very good. It was a little noisy due to a trivia game that night but it didn't distract from our meal. We will definitely make the restaurant a regular stop.

They had breakfast with Santa and it was so well organized. Santa and Mrs. Claus were amazing. The owner was so friendly and engaging with all the clients and guests. The chef came out and made sure that everyone had a great time and everyone was enjoying the food. The rest of the staff was so gracious and the info for everyone to come in. Appreciate Santa and Mrs. clause. And the photographer took amazing photos. Can’t wait for next year.

The Staff was excellent and the bartender Joe was Great. Let's get to the Meat and Potatoes I was surprised that the food was below warm at best. I was expecting at least hot food which I said it was not! It's also a Holiday most are home and I appreciate that the staff was there. Presentation and Hot Great food I had expected for the price from an executive chef. It was not! Sorry I'm Honest and that's that! Never going back

Okay this whole clamb bake was great from beginning to end. The only complaint “I” would say, is more spiced cider! It was so good!
