I don't understand the hype about this place. Touted as Lebanese food, it looked more like a Greek/ Mediterranean food. I used to live near Dearborn MI and this did not taste like the Lebanese food when I was there. The food was decent but everyone raves about this place. Meh, I've definitely had much better Mediterranean food. Oh and the waiter got one of the things I ordered completely wrong.
We often go to Sitti prior to the Symphony concert, and never disappointed with the quality of the food. Especially nice are the changing appetizer selection. This time we had the goat cheese stuffed dates wrapped in bacon. Wonderful. The entrée of skirt steak was cooked perfectly.
Our favorite that we have not had for awhile was the black hummus with lamb bacon and sautéed shiitake mushrooms as one of the appetizers from about 4 years ago. Would love to have it again!
This was only my second time there . The first was for dinner and enjoyed it . This time was lunch. Three of us ordered wraps and were all missing the Tahni sauce. Made the wrap dry. The salad it came with was very good. I might go back again for dinner .
So, I gave it another try. I had my friends bridal dinner there. It was 9 of us and the woman and man that greeted us at the door we’re amazing. Then our server came, it was the same server we had last time. Unfortunately, he was still a really bad server. I let him know he was my last server and pointed to where I sat. He got a bit nicer after that but he’s just not a good server. We asked him to take a pic of our group at the table and he took a quick pic and walked away. Honestly, every other server we’ve had there has been incredible! 7 people in my group had never been there and they mentioned the poor service. I explained that this isn’t the norm. Luckily, 2 minutes later another server saw us taking selfies and ask to take our picture. He was amazing. Funny and so personable. I explained to everyone that, that’s how the servers usually are.
Delicious and interesting food you won’t get at any average restaurant. Amazing service and great cocktail choice. Best lamb and best creme brûlée I’ve ever had.
Great falafel and vegetable plate! I’ve been several times. Food is always good.
First, the food was PHENOMENAL! We chose to order several mezza/ small plates over entrees, and it was a great decision. We had chicken shawarma rolls, dip trio, kibbeh, and the brussel sprouts. I can't even pick a favorite. Even the fresh pita brought to the table when we were seated was out of this world.
The only reason I can't leave a 5 star rating was the service/ambiance. We were in no way treated poorly - our server was really sweet, but we really didn't see her much. No drink refills, and we had to ask a different server to please bring our check. Also, the tables are SO CLOSE together. I'm not a tiny lady, and I felt like I basically had to put my behind on the next table to get to my seat. My husband and I couldn't really enjoy our romantic anniversary conversation because the tables on either side were very loud and very close.
Overall, our experience was pretty good. The food I cannot rave about enough, I just felt like the ambiance left something to be desired.
Great as always. There needed to be an extra person at the bar for drinks and dinner. Be it’s all good at Sitti. Staff is very kind and helpful.
Delicious food and nice beer selection. Perfect spot for a date night!
Tasty food. But the restaurant was quite noisy and made it hard to hear even the waitstaff.
Thank you Sonia for visiting us at Sitti, I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed your meal! I apologize that the volume of our music was not at an appropriate level, I will be sure to share this information with our team so we ensure that you won't have the same issue during your next visit. We look forward to having you dine with us again soon!
While visiting Raleigh, we were excited to eat at Sitti. The food is truly authentic Lebanese! Several dishes I prepare at home, taught to me by my Lebanese mother-in-law, tasted the same! My husband loved it and he prepares a LOT of Lebanese food at home. We liked it so much, we went back for lunch the next day. My husband is picky about the taste of his food and if he loves it, it has to be good!!!
Excellent food in terms of variety, quality, taste. Plenty of vegetarian options. Service was disappointing. He kept forgetting stuff and appeared very nonchalant about it.
We visited on a Monday before flying home from vacation. It was early afternoon so we missed the lunch rush, but service was still great. The food was delicious and the price was reasonable. We ordered the Sitti Tasting and it was plenty to split between 2 for a small meal or snack. Would definitely recommend the baba ghanouj or the chicken shawarma.
Excellent value for a delicious lunch. Lots of options for all tastes with quick service.
I have been to Sitti several times in the past. This time was a disappointment. The calamari was tough and overcooked, and the other items were close to tasteless. What has happened?
Salmon was too well done. Waiter didn’t return for us to tell him. Told him when he finally returned, he didn’t seem to care
Ate outside. Tables all need work
Drinks a little pricey at $11
Food was excellent! Fine presentation and wonderful taste.
This is my second time here and it been consistent.
Cannot recommend this place higher. Food is amazing (cheese rolls and beef kabob are out of this world).
This was our second experience at Sitti. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy it at all. The best part of the meal was the pita bread. Chicken kabobs were overly cooked and dry. Service was average—certainly not outstanding. The server was not congenial and seemed as if he’d rather be elsewhere. Maybe it was just an off night. We will likely try again and hope for better results next time.
The ambiance is nice, but the food is just okay. Not particularly special. I found the flavors to be
Awesome time, wonderful service.
This was our first trip to Sitti. We all loved our meals. Our waiter was amazing in terms of recommendations and service. Will definitely go back!
Still my favorite downtown Raleigh. Great food and atmosphere to start out your evening.
Made a reservation on Saturday afternoon for a party of 4 that same evening. Due to making a reservation so late, we were left with a 5 pm option and an 8 pm option. We opted to dine at 8. We were 3 adults and a toddler. At first, I was apprehensive to dine with the toddler, but the hosts up front assured us they were kid friendly. They promptly seated us and brought us a highchair. Our server was great. He brought water for the table and guided us through the wine list. We opted for a bottle of white and a glass of red. We started out with several appetizers including the cheese wraps (delicious) the kabis and the feta cheese dip. All were quite tasty. Next we ordered entrees. I opted for the beef shwarma, my friend got the chicken with artichokes and capers and our other friend ordered the chicken kabob. All of us were super happy, except the chicken kabob was only "okay" according to my dining mate. Overall we had a very positive experience. The service was good, the ambiance was very nice and the food came out in a timely manner and was hot. I would definitely go back and would recommend to a friend.
Atmosphere and food are both top notch. Will be visiting again.
Portion of food was not worth what we paid for potion was very small won’t be returning
The food was really very good - I can say nothing but good things about appetizers, entrees, drinks, etc. Table had sun shining though a space where there was no shade coverage right into my face unless I sat back. Service was a little slow getting drinks - to me good service takes drink orders and brings drinks quickly then they can take their time with the rest of the meal. Ambiance was good except for the crying baby... Was a little pricey but wouldn't have any problems at all with the price if the other things were better. But the food was definitely worth it. Will probably go there again but there are many other places in Raleigh I want to try first.
Great food. We love this place. Our server looked annoyed the entire time. Horrible
great as always
Waited 8+ minutes to be recognized & drink order taken after being seated. Food was excellent. Service during the meal was sporadic, thankfully we had no issues that needed attention.
Wonderful place with great ambiance, service and food
The drinks and food were excellent but the service was subpar. No one was rude but just unimpressive service. Took a while to get noticed for drinks at the bar prior to dinner (wasn’t very busy) and then took awhile to get the bar tab. The server for dinner forgot our pita so we didn’t get to eat our dip trio until right before dinner was served. The food was excellent as was the wine.
Excellent service. Dips were amazing and the bread was very fresh. The rice was flavorful and I enjoyed the beef/lamb “dumplings”. The kafta kabob was a bit tough and the chicken shawarma could have been more tender as well. I loved the Lebanese sweet tea. Overall, the food was quite good and great value. The service was exceptionally good.
If this was the only restaurant serving up this type of food yes, but it is not. Hands down there is just better restaurants serving Mediterranean food in the Raleigh area at a much cheaper price.
We had a great time. Food was excellent and our server explained the menu well. Great drinks. I got a few Old Tuffy's, which were awesome. Great job!
From the moment we walked in the service was amazing. Friendly hostess, amazing waitress and the food was out of this world. Would definitely come back.
The food was good. My alcohol beverage was not good. Waited longer than normal to get ticket. Restaurant in a nice location and the decor was nice.
Would have liked nicer seating for a romantic dinner for two. (They only have a big row of seating or hightops that aren't comfortable for short people) BUT the food was great and the service was great so overall really good!
