Really enjoyable meal, food and service was excellent
Super food. Good value. Pleasant staff. Will definitely go back
Despite booking for 5 people we were given a table for 4 and then had to source our own 5th chair squashed in where all our food didn't fit. I was in the middle of the floor where other customers kept hitting into me on their way out with one drunk customer reaching over my back and touching my food before laughing and leaving. The door was ajar and we all were freezing and the staff were so rude throughout. The food was nice though.
The food took nearly 40mins to arrive and then our main course arrived at different times so my friend was finished eating by the time I started. Our server was so lovely and polite and apologised but it was obviously a kitchen problem not hers. I do like the place and the food is really good and not too pricey. I will go again.
Overall I liked it. Only 2 things I would change is:
chopsticks: take away type, the ones you have to break apart in order to use and I managed to get a splinter stuck in my hand. With the low light in the inside, was a bit difficult to remove
Table for 2 people: the garden type with wooden planks a few centimetres apart one from another. Doesn't feel safe having food, chopsticks, drinks...
Everything else, I enjoyed the food and the service was nice
Average food (I ordered Chicken Katsu Curry which absolutely needs some improvement there). Good staff.
Food is great, the atmosphere is a little lacking but maybe that was because it was lunchtime. Have been here in the evening and loved it.
Great place for good value, tasty and healthy Japanese food. Lovely service.
Everything was great except for chairs. We had a table for dinner downstairs but the chairs were just not comfortable.
Lovely ambience, excellent food and wonderful service - dragon sushi rolls were amazing! Will definitely be back!
Small portions for the prices but the food was tasty. The bill was brought as soon as the table was cleared, without us requesting it and before we'd even finished our drinks. This was despite the restuarant not even being busy.
Would go again but think there's ither quality sushi places that are better value in Dublin that I'd go back to first.
Went here for Valentines Day with my boyfriend. I chose here because I had heard they were one of the best places in Dublin for vegetarian options and Sisu Izakaya did not disappoint! Couldn’t believe how affordable it was for the amount of food we ordered AND a bottle of wine. Will definitely be back for more! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Service was awful! They forgot to put in half our order and had to ask us again twice what we had ordered in the first place as they never put it in. Received Gyozas and shockingly over cooked edamame beans (yes that’s possible) 15 minutes after we finished the rest of our meal. Not even as much as an apology or 10% off when we asked for the bill! Really disappointing.
Daily bento box was great value and very good. We had the A-GE sushi roll which was awesome
It was a cold night in Dublin and I was feeling like a ramen. I had walked past Sisu many times and decided to try it. One of my friends and I had the miso pork ramen. The pork belly was tender, the broth was delicious, there was plenty of noodles and bok choy as well as lots of crunch from the spring onions and I think fried onion. I could not stop eating until there was nothing left in the bowl. Loved it! Despite being ridiculously full and needing to loosen my belt! My other friend was thrilled they have a gluten free menu. And to top it off the wait staff were attentive and friendly.
Great start and everyone enjoyed in the main although my Katsu Curry was disappointing
Amazing Serivce and delicious food! We had such a good night here and we’ll definitely be going back!
Food was delicious, definitely recommended the calamari. The server was very friendly and attentive, she was on hand with menu suggestions and we were served promptly throughout our meal.
Very tasty food, it was quiet in the downstairs part where we were, we had the place to ourselves. Cool interior design and very good bento boxes. We were just nicely full after eating everything, some bento boxes have way too much food but these were just right. I'd especially recommend the matcha tiramisu.
Good food and good price. A little quiet but Dublin will pick up on it soon. A welcome fusion addition
We went on New Years Eve and the service was very friendly and the food delicious
Fantastic service and amazing food!
Absolutely delicious food. Highly recommend. Something even for my fussy teenager
Great food. Service was warm and attentive. Wilco e back again
Food and service were absolutely fantastic!! The only thing with eating underground is it got quite noisy with larger groups down there.
Will 100% go back, the food was just so good.
Had a lovely meal - really enjoyed the food.
Great find if you love Japanese food. Good buzzy atmosphere, really attentive friendly staff and great food. Loved the sashimi and sushi especially, but chicken gyoza and ebi tempura also excellent! Lovely washed down with a nice bottle of Kirin beer. We will be back to try out more things from the menu.
Dumplings were in under cooked, teriyaki lacked teriyaki. Steak was fatty.
Server was pleasant, but was rudely treated by manager onsite which was uncomfortable for all.
Came across this place by chance ...... definitely be going again... great menu... great staff and amazing value....
We had a pre Christmas party meal with our team and couldn’t have picked a nicer place. We all will definitely be back.
Walked past the restaurant in the afternoon and booked a table as it looked interesting from the outside. I wasn’t disappointed at all. The food was amazing best sushi I’ve had in Dublin and I have had quite a lot! Recommend this place 100%! Can’t wait to go back.
