We drove in from Las Vegas and were staying at the Luxe Beverly Hills. We were tired and hungry so decided to eat before checking in. Eddie was our amazing server. He greeted us and started our trip off great. The service was amazing and the food delicious. The coffee was amazing and it was overall a delicious experience.
Six women all enjoyed their meals. Eggs with sausage delicious. The patio was really nice especially because the space is covered to protect from the sun. Service was good but not attentive.
Understaffed, looked surprised when we arrived and we had a reservation.
Uncomfortable but food was good and it is overpriced
First off. We went for a bday brunch
I made a Rez for a Sunday.
Got there, no hostess just a sign telling us to seat our self
Lots of seating so I didn’t mind
The problem was, I think there was only one server and nobody came to our table . We had to go ask the front desk
Once the waiter came everything went well
Food was delicious, staff great and it’s very pretty and quiet
I’d go again
I have been going to a lot of restaurants during COVID and this was the worst experience. We waited 15 minutes before getting our menu... we couldn’t find anyone around. I’m not going to be rushing back.
Excellent service. I cannot remember the gentlemen at the hotel (I think Jonathan), he was wonderful helping me make reservations for a friend. He took care of everything for me. My friends loved the food, atmosphere, and most of all the service. The restaurant had an option of indoor and outdoor dining. The menu was kid friendly. I definitely recommend this place.
Seemed like the restaurant was barely open. My friend had the hamburger with avocado and fries which was very good. I had the ceasar salad with grilled shrimp. Shrimp was delicious but lettuce was not crisp and dressing was very mediocre. Had to ask twice for ground pepper and the server kept changing as though they had all gone home
Looking forward to a better experience once covid standards are more open. Love the location and want them to do well
Juliana was wonderful. Simple menu and very well done. Safe and yet Covid-19 friendly. Terrific salad, lobster rolls, chicken picatta, and fudge brownie dessert!
Birthday lunch, it was fabulous, so nice and socially distant during COVID..
Food was very good. However ...
Too few staff on duty at Luxe Sunset Hotel at 9:00 a.m. It took more than 15 minutes for wait staff to come and take our order ... there was one table seated already eating. More than 20 minutes passed before coffees and teas were brought to the table ... and another 10 minutes before breakfast dishes were brought to table. As we hardly saw the two person team who were seating and waiting on guests, our party was pondering that perhaps they were also the kitchen staff.
This is such a shame. Such a nice location and great food. Have dined here for breakfast in the past and had efficient service. Used to be a great place for business breakfast. Hope that it will be again post-COVID.
Chicken salad were delicious.
Really disappointing. Food was only decent. Expected table clothes. More than one waiter in the room. Plating, set ups and food presentation fit for an $80 price fix menu. Would never go back unless for a sandwich for lunch perhaps.
Date night getaway. Lovely dim lit patio socially distanced from other guests. Friendly and professional staff. Preset menu for Valentines Day and everything was superb. Would return again.
Nice quiet Valentines dinner.
The ambiance was amazing, lovely hotel, beautiful open patio for lunch/dinner. Menu options are not much, full bar and cocktails were delicious.
There was zero service from anyone and the waiters were just not present. It wasn’t a real reservation. I don’t know if it’s the app or the actual place, but I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone
When we arrived no one was there to great or seat us. I had to walk back out the the front desk to ask if someone was working. None of the tables were set. We had to ask a worker in the back what’s up. He seated us at a dirty/unclean table. There was still crumbs on the table from the night before. Worst experience I have ever had. Do not go there for brunch whoever is reading this. I will never go back. We got up and walked out. We decided to go to Santa Monica for brunch. I will def recommend the spot we went to if I can remember.
Food was uninspiring and even the cappuccino was not good
always a lovely spot to sit and relax with lunch. We love that we can actually have a conversation in the space without shouting at each other! Nice menu, good service and ambiance we can really appreciate.
Lovely staff and incredible burger and fries. The patio is pretty and peaceful
Quiet atmosphere. But the food disappointing. Could not drink the cappuccino.
Great food and service. We were staying at Hotel Angeleno and this was within walking distance right across the street. Great ending to a long day of travel and sightseeing at Getty Center.
This is the best place for a business meal on the west side of L.A. Valet parking. Nice people.
Great service from a friendly staff Enrique is a very special and gracious server!
Small hotel dining room, lots of light, pleasing service and good, not great food. Very centrally located off the 405 fwy. Valet parking.
Solid, consistent food, although servings are somewhat small, while the prices are somewhat high. Service is capable, professional and pleasant, as always. It's never too crowded, which makes it easy to summon a serve. All-in-all, I recommend it!
Wonderful service and great food. A perfect lunch or dinner spot for client meetings between the city and the valley.
During the thanksgiving holiday we wanted a place where it was quiet so we could get together and chat. This was a perfect place. It is a lovely room with fresh light and good service. The food is usually quite good!
Sunday brunch is good! $55/person including drinks
Service was good and it’s a nice setting but the food was awful. Seriously bad.
Great place for business lunch - easy in and out location and parking prices - great service and nice menu - and tasty food.
The food was expertly prepared and delicious. Service, however, was unexpectedly slow. They seemed to have been understaffed the evening we dined there. My husband's beverage had been delivered 15 minutes earlier, & I had to flag down a passing waiter to inform him that I was still waiting for my cocktail. Our water came, but we were not asked for our meal order. Service was subpar, and very unlike what we had experienced on previous visits.
Lovely ambiance. Nice place to meet with friends. Service is good and food is average.
Service was terribly slow
Good food, pleasant atmosphere and good, but not great service. The food while not particularly innovative, is consistent and enjoyable. The restaurant's a good "in-between" place, between the Valley and the City; try it (but paying for their "validated" parking's not fun (or cheap)!
Nice and quiet place.
Good food and reasonable prices.
Celebrating a birthday
We loved the quiet ambience.
Service was good and they started us off with a nice selection of breads.
Food was just ok.
Parking fee of $5 included with validation
This is a great location to meet for lunch when people are coming from the Valley and the City.
Always a consistent player; solid food, good service in a convivial atmosphere w/ attentive servers.
Never overly crowded; great for a quiet lunch/dinner.
