The half salad, half pasta option is not on the menu but they will split the two if you want to try both. They will also split pastas or salads if you want to try two.

I chose the restaurant because it was on my IHG plan and was a convenient location for my guest. The food was excellent and it was fun to be in a place that was very full, thank goodness I made a reservation because we could not have gotten a lunch table without it. My lunch special was expensive ($22.95) for pasta with shrimp and fresh peas but it was very good. Still, at these prices, special occasion only. I thought they would have had lunch specials on menu.

We were just in town for a long weekend and found Siroc on OpenTable. The restaurant was quiet (yet reasonably busy) and had a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious. And- they let my boyfriend have two half portions of pasta when he was having trouble deciding on one... and they were both great! My pasta was amazing as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. I couldn't recommend this place enough! We will definitely go back!

I was visiting DC and went here 2 nights in a row. They had excellent by the glass wine options, including Sancerre. For entrees I had the spinach and burrata ravioli with artichokes one night and the chickpea pappardelle pasta with scallops, pesto, green beans and potatoes. Both were excellent, though the ravioli was less heavy. For appetizers, I had a seared scallops and spinach special one night and the eggplant involtini the other. The scallops were melt in your mouth tender and the spinach just slid down. The eggplant was good but not as memorable as the other dishes. For desert, I had the poached pear (in red wine) with marscapone ice cream one night and the hazelnut wrapped chocolate mouse with raspberries. The latter was very good but heavy after a full meal and better suited to splitting with someone. The poached pear was lighter and delicious. Service was excellent and prices were reasonable for quality. Loop tape was on the techno side but not too loud.

Great food! Great service...second time we’ve been, and with kids! Good menu that represents several regions in Italy without trying too hard. Nice work for an American chef in a tough market!!

The food was mediocre at best. I had the special that night
parpadelle with lamb ragu which was pretty
bland, another had the brozino which was
just ok, parrpadelle with seafood in a red sauce was just ok, I think the side of sautéed Spinach was frozen spinach. The best thing
was the trio of galatto for desert!!

The chef and his top assistants must have
been off for the holidays. Not a good experience.

Went there with my family for Christmas Eve dinner. I have been going here since they opened over ten years ago and this was as good as ever, and the sausage appetizer was amazing. Owner is great guy and the staff is wonderful. Cannot recommend them enough.

Ever single person in our group of ten raved about their meal. The server was also incredibly accommodating, providing excellent service and uncomplainingly splitting the check ten ways for our group of work colleagues. I definitely will plan future meals here and I recommend it highly.

Upscale Italian with limited menu. I had sea bass (on special) with snow peas and mushrooms. My wife had fettuccine bolognese. Both dishes were well prepared though not remarkably good compared with other restaurants in the area.

Siroc is a gem. Every little aspect of it was just delightful. I've been to many Italian restaurants where they say they make their own pasta, but I doubt it! Siroc's pasta was fresh and delicate and clearly handmade. We went pre-theatre dinner, told them so, and our meal was ready in about 10 minutes including for one of us who ordered duck. The pastas were delicious. The presentations on the plates was lovely; especially the hazelnut mousse dessert! The service was as good as service in any of the finest restaurants I've ever been in. The atmosphere is a warm cozy setting - nice for a romantic dinner. I would go here again in a heartbeat. I'm actually trying to figure out an excuse to get back downtown so I can go. PS my sister-in-law is a banker downtown and she takes all her clients here for meals.

Siroc was a warm and welcoming spot for dinner on a blustery fall Sunday evening. The ravioli filled with short ribs and potatoes were pure Italian comfort food. The wine list has nice choices by the glass. My server was helpful in guiding me how to sample a variety of flavors without overstuffing myself.

Food, ambience, service - Siroc has it all. We'd been there some time ago and, while we loved the food then as well, the noise was intolerable. They've fixed that with what appear to be sound-deadening tiles on the ceiling. It makes all the difference. We could hear each other and the server and the atmosphere was laid back & lovely. The food is creative and excellent - squid ink pasta, ravioli stuffed with short ribs, wonderful fish. Each dish was well prepared and well presented.
We'll definitely be back!

Tasty food in an elegant, yet relaxed atmosphere. I met a friend for lunch and we were both pleased with our very tasty dishes and the helpful, friendly service. I had the delicious squid ink pasta with lobster, shrimp, and calamari, while my friend had the tenderloin steak, which I tasted, too. It was equally appealing. It was easy to have a nice conversation, excellent food and friendly service.

Unexpected after-Theatre Delight

Three of us walked up to Siroc after a matinee at the National Theatre. The food was varied - each of us ordered a different entree and shared two different salads -- and we enjoyed them immensely. The black (pepper) spaghetti carbonara was new for me - -the addition of black pepper to the pasta was subtle, yet just enough edge to liven up a traditional carbonara pairing. Try it -- you'll like it!

Food was excellent and service was very good. Only negative was there were two very large parties the evening I went. That made it loud and detracted from the service some. It is a fairly small restaurant. Would be better to limit large parties to only one at the same time. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend it and definitely would go back.
