Food was ok, but not up to usual quality for the price. Ambience was good, but noise level was pretty high.

As always, a great dining experience...friendly and efficient service, excellent food and nice ambiance.

Siroc is always dependable--good food, good service and enough variety in the menu to please everyone in a group.

I’m a regular and Siroc is consistently terrific. Homemade pastas, fresh salads, creative seafood, great wine list. And better service than you’d get at a much more expensive restaurant. Most of the staff have been there for years and their experience shows. Washington’s most underappreciated gem.

The thing that impressed me the most was that from the minute you walk into Siroc the staff is truly happy to see you. The service is excellent. Efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful, and the food was great!!! I will definitely return. Marina was our server...she was wonderful!!

This was a last minute choice, but it turned out to be a great experience. A friend was visiting the city and we met for dinner. The staff was very personable and attentive. Our meal selections were tasty. Lighting dims as the evening progresses, so if you use reading glasses, I'd suggest bringing them. Value of our dining for the night was excellent. For two, with a glass of wine, the tally was less than $100. Top marks to the end of a long day. Till next time, cheers!

Excellent meal. Quiet and peaceful. Good service. The almond cake with blueberry sauce was exquisite! My compliments...superb meal, very nice menu. Worth the price.

Ambiance was nice just wish the lighting was a little brighter. A tad too dark for me.

Had the eggplant involtini, the osso bucco, and the poached pear for dessert. Recommend all of them, particularly the poached pear.

Add this to your list of great restaurants to visit in Washington DC. I had dinner with 7 family members and friends. Everyone raved about their first course, main course, and dessert. I had the Veal osso buco- it was delicious.

My husband and I were in DC to see the Cherry Blossoms. We missed the blossoms but this restaurant lived up to all the reviews! Wonderful little spot close to our hotel and the food was fantastic! I had the pasta special and it was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The sauce was light and the portion was right on spot. Loved it. My husband had prime rib and it was cooked perfectly. The desserts were wonderful as well. It was a home run for us.

One of the few excellent Italian eateries in the city! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed both of our meals. The wine selection was also on point! The chef provided us complimentary appetizers which were delicious! And the specials were both delicious and creative!

Overall, service, food, and price were all fantastic!

Siroc is one of my favorite restaurants - I don't know why it doesn't seem to get noticed as a top Italian restaurant location in DC by the newspapers and other restaurant reviews. Delicious homemade pastas, cozy ambience, friendly service, nice selection of wines, and good people-watching - never know when a White House or Treasury political official will be sitting right next to you.

My husband and 15 yr old vegetarian daughter were visiting DC and looking for a place to eat. My daughter loves american style italian food so we decided on Siroc; however, we never looked at the menu before we went. When we got there and were seated we looked at the menu and realized it was all pretty authentic food. In fact, we didn't even recognize anything on the menu. When the waitress came to our table we apologized because we felt awful that there wasn't anything we would eat (being super picky eaters that also don't eat seafood). The waitress asked us what we would like and my daughter said either fettuccini Alfredo or spaghetti with marinara sauce and they actually made it especially for us! The service was amazing and the food was delicious! And dessert... oh my gosh!!! Wow!!!

This was a business mean and I asked that consideration be given to assigning a table of to the side in a location suitable for business discussions. That is exactly what I was given. The food was excellent and the prices reasonable.

My husband and I found this spot while visiting DC recently. The service and food was impeccable. Always a plus to find a restaurant serving veal osso bucco...only improvement would be presentation with a marrow spoon (as the marrow is always my favorite part)! We loved it and would recommend to anyone wanting a lovely Italian dinner with friends or a loved one. Not super kid friendly, although if you’re kids have more adult and refined tastes, they would also fare well.

Had pasta dish for lunch - penne with a light cream sauce and a few sprinkles of pancetta. A few veggies would have improved the dish considerably. Will give it a second try but the first outing wasn’t very impressive.

Siroc continues to excel at the business of providing a first-rate culinary experience with excellent service and at prices that deliver great value. It is clearly a favorite gathering spot of the K Street crowd, and also draws from the journalism-think tank ranks. Chef Martin Lackovic and his partners, Mehdi and Keram Kris, have created one of DC's finest. It's always a pleasure to be there . . . and to come back. Looking forward to good weather so we can enjoy the outdoor setting at Siroc.

A really enjoyable evening. Siroc was crowded, but the waitress and other servers made us feel special -- they were focused on meeting our every need. My daughter had pasta and it was excellent. My osso buco was among the best that I have ever tasted. The scallops were perfectly cooked.
