Outstanding choices are available. We dined al fresco which was a very pleasant experience. The saffron tagliatelle with lamb sausage and branzino entrees were outstanding. The burrata with prosciutto was excellent. We shared th3 almond cake with blueberries, a wonderful end to the meal. We shared a premier cru Chablis. We will definitely return on our next trip to DC
Siroc is like an old friend who is consistent and never disappoints. It is my favorite go to place for special meals and guests. Delicious home made pasta dishes represent half its well-curated menu. Give the squid ink pasta with seafood and tomatoes a try. Service is gracious and snappy. Quiet, relaxed dining room setting or people watch al fresco.
I don’t want to actually write a good review because I want to keep Siroc as a little hidden gem of my own but they deserve the props. I took a group of federal judges to Siroc for dinner and just had a great experience. The server who was also probably the manager was perfect. I will be back and will especially use Siroc for a large group if needed again.
Food was overall ok though the pappardelle was over cooked & little mushy. Service was efficient but server was quite impersonal & impatient. Noise level very loud that we could not carry on a normal conversation without raising our voice.
The food was excellent and the server knowledgeable in her recommendations. The atmosphere was great for Mother's Day
Great next time I’m in town I’ll definitely return
Been to Siroc several times now, and the food there is always great. Nice, but not overwhelming selection of dishes. Ambiance is very nice for a relaxing dinner, and the service was attentive, but nit overbearing.
Good food, great outside seating. Service was fine
Siroc is by far my favorite DC restaurant. The food never disappoints, in fact, it often excels. The servers are delightful and efficient. The managers have an eye for detail and have created ambiance that feels a little New York and a little Rome. I go about once a week for lunch, knowing I will be able to enjoy great food and conversation -- all at a reasonable price. You can't go wrong with Siroc.
Great service All the way around. No problem accommodating special dietary needs.
Great wine, appetizers creative and satisfying. Lobster shrimp filled ravioli in a pimento cream sauce were amazing.
The food was amazing! The pasta is fresh and beautifully made and so delicious. The chef came out towards the end of the night to talk to several tables.
Always a great meal, Marina is an excellent wait staff, and there are always tasty choices. Love the ambiance.
Food was excellent ! Fresh homemade pasta and the specials were amazing! Waitress did fantastic job with our party of 11.
Great food and service got a reservation on short notice and was pleased with traditional Italian meal.
Food was unbelievable! Spot on! We had creamy pastas and they were very good. Not you’re usual pasta dishes which is what made them so satisfying!
One of the finest, most gracious restaurants in town.
Fantastic food, attentive service. Nice Italian restaurant in DC.
Very good food! Sauces have great flavor, pasta cooked perfectly.
We enjoyed it.
Food was overall ok, but expensive. Lemon tagliatelle was too greasy and special pasta was like a chinese noodle.
It was very loud. We had to ask to be moved to a quieter spot which was slightly better
Siroc is consistently good. Service was fabulous...and the food was good as always. Can't go wrong with this choice for a place downtown near McPherson Square.
The service was very good and I appreciated the fact that they gave me a good table when I mentioned I had a "VIP" joining me for lunch.
Always enjoyable with great food and service.
We had a lovely meal at Siroc, which satiated my need for a delicious, traditional carbonara. My boyfriend had an amazing squid ink seafood dish which he loved too. Would visit again.
We eat siroc when in DC. The food is very good, well prepared and service is on a par with the food. Good and reasonably priced wine list as well.
Food is a bit too expensive for what it is, but very good.
This is my go-to restaurant when I'm in this part of town. I've never been disappointed with anything I've chosen. Love it!
A delightful place for lunch.
Excellent food, good service, and quiet enough to hold a conversation comfortably. All around a very enjoyable experience.
Service and food were great.
Our server was very attentive and worked with us .
Una bella atmosfera di buon cibo italiano nel cuore di Washington
great place to meet over good food and have a discussion. reasonably quiet and the staff is attentive but does not push you out. everyone was very pleased with their food
Dishes were sublime. My date and I had three and finished with the red wine Bosc pear for dessert. Delicious!
Had a wonderful dinner here with out-of-town friends. Everything was delicious! Only wish that parking was easier. We were told to go to the garage on Vermont Street but found this closed. Had to keep looking and were late for our reservation.
Great food and service. A little loud.
Siroc consistently delivers the best downtown dining experience I know; lunch or dinner. The cozy, conversation-friendly setting, professional service and excellent choice of first-rate Italian dishes and wines always provides an enjoyable respite.
Excellent food and service... The branzino was delicious and my friends enjoyed the pasta😊
Was in DC for business. Siroc was close to our hotel and got good ratings, we decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. They have a small but solid wine list with reasonable prices and we had a great barbaresco that our server recommended. All of our dishes were great - we had the brancino, bolognese fettuccini, ravioli and sea bass. Our server was appropriately attentive. Overall a great experience.
Excellent food. Perhaps a bit understaffed and servers unsmiling because of overwork? Noise level better than in many places—conversation was easy. One of us RAVED about the eggplant and lamb dish.
