Pasta was outstanding. Ambience was warm an welcoming. We’re coming back soon.
Love this restaurant . Always accommodating and service is super. It’s quite noisy the earlier you go so if you want to talk go around 1-1:30
Another great visit with good friends, who have now become customers of Siroc. All the fisheaters raved about the new fish that was on the menu, and our pastas were as good as ever. Though I would have objected had I known that someone at our table ordered two of the chocolate desserts, I forced myself to join with the others in finishing them off quickly. Delicious!
And great service, as always.
All the food was bland. The raviolis were incredibly small and the filling was also bland.
Celebrated a birthday and they did an amazing job and made the evening successful.
Excellent as always! Service is beyond compare. The chef and team are consistently outstanding and surprising with their food.
Very warm in restaurant, had to go outside in middle of meal to cool down
Consistently delicious food, wine list that is varied and well priced. It’s our go to place when friends come from out of town. Martin, the chef owner, goes out of his way to make a visit their special. A hidden gem.
Always an enjoyable and tasty dining experience. One of my local favorites in D.C.
Took a party of 10 business associates and as usual heard rave reviews from everyone. Great food and friendly service.
Great food, good service
If you like pasta this is the place for you in DC. Everyone in our party raved about the pasta. I've been here several times and picked it because it has menu items other than pasta for those who aren't into Italian specifically. The food is amazing.
Five colleagues went to Siroc for a good-bye lunch. We all ordered pasta dishes and no alcohol, so the price was reasonable. Bruschetta to start was quite tasty. The setting was great for lunch. The food was good and portions satisfying, with a couple of people taking home leftovers. Service was fine. Would certainly recommend for a similar occasion.
This is the best area restaurant for a quick and delicious work lunch.
My favorite server (Marina) always makes the experience special.
Very good food. The service was very slow even though the restaurant was not crowded.
As always, outstanding food paired with outstanding service.
Veal linguini was perfect, huge portion. Side sausage was excellent. Always an outstanding experience. Service couldn’t be better?
Very authentic Italian food. Best gnocchi I have had in a long time. Great service. All around great experience. Highly recommend.
Our group of six was seated at a nice table. We had to be proactive and ask for everything: water; bread, oil and salt. The dinners were delicious, but the staff - well meaning, I am sure - were clearly disorganized and not sufficiently professional or attentive.
Food was excellent. Service was excellent and we had a table of 8. Very charming atmosphere. Its DC so food prices will never be reasonable but with no drinks the bill averaged out to $30 ahead for lunch. It was very nice but I am sure many would appreciate a little more variety in price range for a weekday lunch. Thank you.
great service. had brushetta and kale-seared salmon cesar salad.. Yum!
A charming, rather cozy Italian restaurant was a good spot for a combine business and pleasure dinner with a colleague. The menu is compact but has a nice selection of pasta, fish and meat dishes. The squid ink tagliatelle was especially good as was our other dish, veal shank. We had the veal sausages as an appetizer which was also nicely prepared. Service was prompt and attentive and the wine list reasonably priced, if some what limited. The noise level was good for conversation. Overall a good value which could do well for business or an intimate dinner.
All I can say is, the Salmon is on point. Very nice place for a quiet lunch with friends or even a business lunch. About to be my new favorite place.
The food was mediocre. I was very disappointed with the squid ink tagliatelle - it was salty and not very tasty.
we were there for lunch, and there were a wide variety of menu items in terms of ingredients, portion sizes and price. two of us had pasta dishes which were were nicely composed and a good sized lunch portion - mine was so good that i had to resist licking the serving dish, and the other was enjoyed by one friend. the other friend had a salad and loved it. we all shared a tiramisu, one of the best i've ever eaten, including in italy. located close to two different metro stations.
Very nice staff. Food really not good :(
Service excellent et très bon repas
Good food, good service. Delivered on expectations.
The linguine with mussels special was outstanding, it should be added to the regular menu.
Love Siroc but they should advise people that sitting outside during lunch might be noisy right now due to street construction
As always, dinner at Siroc was delightful. If we lived in D. C., we’d eat here often. Since we live on the other side of the country, we come whenever we can. The service is excellent, the menu is varied, and the specials are always worth trying. Excellent wine list, too. We’ll definitely be back!
Ordered the ravioli recommended by our waitress. It was maybe the best meal I've ever eaten. Delicate, lovely food.
Ever time I am in the DC area, this is the one restaurant I put on my calendar. The service is fast and the food is always great.
A hidden DC gem. The weathered awning outside is misleading. Homemade pasta, homemade sauces, always fresh fish dishes, and plenty of great imported wines. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. I went two nights in a row, introducing friends and colleagues.
Always consistently good. Nice atmosphere. Quiet for DC but comfortable and the food is always inventive yet not out there. The nightly specials are always the best dishes but I have my go to favorites. Nice wine list as well and the staff are solicitous but not overwhelming which is such a relief. Thanks Siroc. We’ll be back
Beyond excellent! Service is second to none. The chef is magnificent. Best food and price you’ll ever have.
Hadn't been in several years but still enjoyed the food. It was quiet and pleasant and the waitress was nice and efficient.
We were pleasantly surprised that their dishes were prepared very well. The restaurant was not as busy considering their food was very good.
This wonderful place continues to be one of our favorite spots in the DC area. The staff is warm, inviting and wonderful. The service is always incredible. The food is fresh, perfectly prepared and delightful. Food and service is always consistently excellent. I can not say enough wonderful things about this lovely restaurant.
On a cool August Saturday evening, this was our first outdoor dinner at Shiroc overlooking the quiet, peaceful McPherson Square: it was hard to image we were only three blocks from the White House! The service was even more personable and professional than we normally enjoy at Shiroc and the food -- especially the lamb shank -- and wine were outstanding. Shiroc is one of Washington's best kept secrets.
