I wanted to like this restaurant but it really struck out on many fronts. While the staff were polite they were a bit clueless (we had to ask for silverware, service took forever, they forgot some of our order). The food itself was mediocre at best: the fish ceviche was full of sinews (to the point where I couldn't eat it and had to spit it out and the server didn't even notice), seafood stew was ok, seafood paella was undercooked (crunchy rice), the sipan pisco was fruit juice, and we're sorry we asked again for the empanadas they forgot to bring because they were tasteless with very sparse filling and seemed microwaved. All of this world have been tolerable from an affordable mom and pop restaurant, but we paid $140 for essentially two courses and one drink for two people for some pretty terrible food. I would love for there to be a quality Peruvian restaurant in Saratoga but this is not it. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Fantastic service and ceviche, paella, and beef dish. Moved here a year ago and was great to experience indoor dining and wait staff that enjoyed being there and engaged - checking in, smiling and suggesting great dishes and Peruvian beer. Caught our eye because of Peruvian place we visited in Costa Rica and was memorable- we will be back

This was our first visit and we can’t wait to return. The ceviche sampler was outstanding! The salmon with a delicious quinoa side was also a favorite. Friendly service and a nice selection of different cocktails.

I would come back for the service alone. Very welcoming! The food was pretty solid as well. I had the aji de gallina and the flan for dessert.

This was my third dinner visit to Sipan and it does not disappoint. The dishes are tasty and the portions are amble. Service was excellent.
