Set in a gorgeous Grade II-listed Georgian villa, the decor is bright and modern but respects the building’s elegance and heritage.

The food, too, respects classical tradition, but is a contemporary take on British cuisine - combining influences from around the world in dishes based on fabulous impeccably sourced seasonal ingredients.

Enjoy an aperitif in one of the elegant lounges in the older part of the building before moving on to the sleek restaurant with its blonde wood beams, exposed stone walls and bi-fold doors opening onto the garden.

The knowledge and experience of Head Chef Luke Tipping shows through in the assured, confident nature of the cooking – and he has the skill to know when to hold back. Dishes are balanced and pure, with subtle modern touches and a pleasing clarity of flavour; be sure to try the signature tapenade bread rolls and delicious soufflés.

Service is enthusiastic and brims with personality.

    Eureka, our superbly equipped cookery school and development kitchen, is about discovery. Discovering the skills and techniques used by Simpsons chefs to create delicious dishes. And discovering and unleashing your own culinary talents. Our cookery classes are a hands-on experience, with chefs helping you create fabulous contemporary dishes. The Eureka Kitchen is priced at £195 per person, to include lunch. If you have a voucher, please give our office a call to book a place! Unfortunately, we are not able to cater for specific dietary requirements or allergies.

    A selection of 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts priced at 49.5 per person. Menu available for lunch only, Wednesday to Saturday. No Pre-payment is required when selecting your menus or wine pairing options on our booking system. Please advise us of any food allergies and intolerances upon booking. We are happy to accommodate allergens where possible, however, we cannot accommodate personal preferences and dislikes.

Our 3 Course Menu gives you a range of 6 starters, 6 mains and 6 desserts to choose from. Showcasing a broad range of culinary skills using the best seasonal produce available. Wine selection by the glass is available to accompany the courses. Our current menu is displayed on our website but is also liable for change as new dishes are developed daily.

    An outstanding lunch from start to finish. Beautiful food all expertly matched with some great wines. The whole serving team were fantastic and the kitchen produced outstanding food with great skill and flavour combinations. Excellent value for the level of cooking and service provided.

    Lovely dining experience from beginning to end. Had the plant based classic menu and was left very impressed by the use of simple seasonal produce to assemble such spectacularly tasting and presenting dishes.

    I love this restaurant! It gave me a great Birthday, the staff were great, the food was magnificent, the attention to detail was great, the changes to the menu to fit my needs were lovely, and the care and environment were second to none..
