It was okay. No one tells you it’s on the first floor of an abandoned mall. I wasn’t blown away by the food but it wasn’t bad either.

We all ordered the Biggie sampler which was beyond amazing! We all ordered different drinks on the cocktail menu which were all too sweet. I'd stick to ordering regular drinks.

We went on Father’s Day and they did a whole celebration around that with a DJ, decorations, etc. so we don’t know what it’s like on a typical day but we had a great time. It was an older crowd like 35+ which was actually really nice. The DJ was on point with the vibes, the drinks were strong and yummy, and the food was delicious. We plan to go back and try more on the menu! The prices are also reasonable. We had 4 drinks total, 1 appetizer, and 2 entrees for $157.

Service was ok. Waiter could’ve been a little more attentive. Party of 6, took close to 15min before our drink order placed. Drinks served all but one which came later. Finally we ordered our meals… no fish was available. We still ordered 6 entrees. Waited another 20 minutes or so before served… the waiter forgot to place two orders. So while some of us were eating others had to was an additional 10-15 minutes for their meals. No explanation or apology was given. Not did we make a big fuss because we really wanted a good experience. The food and drinks were really good. Will visit again with the hopes of service being better. No one was rude . Just need some tweaking with service and being attentive

It took way too long for the waiter Khalief to come to the table and acknowledge us... then it appeared he had an attitude he didn't even introduce himself I had to ask him what his name was... however the ambience of this place is amazing and that alone makes me want to come back next time I visit AC

We had such an amazing experience at Simpsons. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. Our server was friendly and accommodating, moving us to a larger booth so that we could be more comfortable. The drinks were on point and the vibes were vibing. We will definitely come back!

Located in a previously abandoned seaside mall, this restaurant is the second location of the Jamaican chain, the first being at 673 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217. Despite service being a little slow, the food -- braised oxtail with brown rice and vegetables for her, curried goat stew with white rice and vegetables for me, sharing a macaroni and cheese appetizer -- was perfectly cooked and delicious. I had a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream and a cherry with hot fudge for dessert. This place should be packed every night, and here's hoping that they maintain the excellent quality.
