Great service! Great food!
Seating in their individual cubicles was quite appropriate for the times. Food choices were excellent, tasty and plentiful. Service was excellent even with a pretty full house.
Overall it was overpriced and not worth it. I feel like for what I paid, over $100 we could have gone somewhere nicer and paid half the price and had a better meal. Overall the cheese fondue portion was really small and the really odd part about it is how they mixed up this really small portion in front of us and they left the serving tray sitting in front of our table which had this huge bowl of shredded cheese and ingredients to make more left over. I thought if you needed a little more they would make a little extra. We still had a ton of bread and veggies left but no cheese fondue because it was such a small portion and since they left the tray sitting in front of our table I asked if they could make up a little more for us and when they told me it would be an additional $25 extra it was absolutely not worth that. After I told them I wasn’t going to pay $25 more the really odd part is how the server walked away but she left the serving platter sitting in front of our table for probably an additional 20 more minutes. I can guarantee I bought all the ingredients on that serving tray. They finally took away the cheese fondue ingredients 45 minutes after they initially brought it out . If they reused the left over cheese and ingredients at another table after sitting in the isle with other patrons and wait staff walking back and forth in front of it for over 45 minutes while sitting in front of our table they should be ashamed of themselves. I was not impressed at all by Simply Fondue and I will not be going back. Overpriced, the most inattentive wait staff I’ve experienced in a while and overall I wasn’t impressed at all.
Fun evening for the whole family. Dinner was delicious and loved the variety of options. Will be back.
Waitress was not very professional. Probably won’t be going back between the small portions & the amount of $$$ we spent.
Wonderful place to celebrate a birthday! The staff went out of their way to make me feel special!
Simply Fondue is a delicious but the best part of my visit was our friendly waiter!
Our server was great. But the food for the price was disappointing. The cheese and chocolate courses were nice. But the wedge salad was covered in cheddar cheese...not traditional in any way. Also when we got our meat course we chose to saute as that seemed to be the healthier choice. Well everything was cooking extremely slow and came out extra greasy. We tried using a napkin to sop up the grease...but that was no good. It was so dark in there we could not tell when items were done. The worst part was we were mixing seafood and beef and chicken. When you are a Pescatarian (and waiter knows this) that is not cool. We did not eat any of this course, but were not discounted or even offered a discount. It was clear we did not eat any of it too. It was disappointing and this was a 21st birthday. So I wanted a special night for my son. We won't be going back sadly. I have such great memories...too bad this did not go well.
Stay away. This is MY date night place. Just kidding, always AWESOME!!
I love this place, but the service on this last trip was so disappointing. Our server basically ignored us. If it wasn't for the rest of the workers we probably would have never gotten a refill on drinks, our food, or generally checked in on. We were never asked if we wanted more vegetables and bread for dipping even though we had half of our cheese left. He just took it and left. We also got our cheese at the same time as our salads which was a bit awkward. He didn't bring us our chocolate either, but he brought us our check before we even started eating the chocolate. Just very lackluster service. I'll probably give the melting pot another go after this.
I hesitate to use this phrase because of how often it is over-used, but the General Manager that evening gave us the worst restaurant experience ever. Our waiter, Grant, was phenomenal. If you go there, ask for him. But if you go there, watch out for the catch on the Groupon deal. Apparently in the fine print, it says one per table. They apply that even if you are on a double date and have split checks. The issue we had was when I opened the app for the General Manager to show me where it said one per table, it didn't appear on my Groupon coupon. The last sentence was cut off. He still insisted that the rule applied to us even though we had no way of knowing about the one coupon per table. It was the worst I have ever been treated in a restaurant. He was argumentative and had no desire to show any sort of customer service. I'm hoping he was just having a bad night, but it was bad enough that I decided to leave a review - something I hardly ever do.
Wonderful food & service. Would definitely go back. The garlic chicken was to die for.
Great experience. Worth the price. Our server was awesome and helpful.
We arrived 10 mins before our reservation, but had to wait 45 mins to be seated, with really no wait area. Many others waited as well and never were we greeted or updated. Server was pretty good- helpful, but obviously overwhelmed. Good was mediocre in comparison to other fondue places I have been. The salad is literally a wedge of a lettuce head, dipped in ranch and sprinkled with cheese and bacon. We had to ask for our drinks again, which finally came after we had already ate the cheese portion and salad. Overall, I would not recommend and I would not visit again.
We don't come often, so when we do, it is a treat! Our waiter was so helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, and also recommended some of his favorites. Two thumbs up!
Great date night.
Awesome food and great dining experience. Really an opportunity to have more time to enjoy a meal with loved ones and partake in the joy of preparing food.
We had a reservation with 3 adults and 3 children thinking this would be a fun way to dine with kiddos, and we were wrong. The meal took over 3 hours for no reason other than our waiter disappeared for vast amounts of time. We actually had to get up and find someone twice to help with drink/food requests. And then they overcharged us at the end of the meal, and the person at the front desk was abysmally unhelpful. Truly disappointing on all counts. We won’t be returning.
Food was great. Took too long to wait on food to be ready.
Very nice atmosphere and food was incredible! My wife and I loved the experience.
The food was very good the service was excellent!
Overall our experience was good. Our waitress seemed very scattered. She kept forgetting things and brought us a scotch instead of a bourbon. The food was good and we enjoyed it. The service just could've been better.
Devita was our waitress, and she was amazing! Fun place to eat, food was great, atmosphere was great. Would definitely eat here again.
I can’t wait to go back! Everything was so great! Great service! Definitely just for special occasions, but loved it!
Jose was great. Very friendly and accommodating. I hadn’t been in a while but I will definitively visit again soon.
Good service Cesar was our waitress , good food !!
Simply Fondue was definitely a dining Experience. I enjoyed the Classic that we ordered. We received excellent service throughout the experience. My husband texted me the next day while he was working and stated that he really enjoyed the restaurant. I will definitely return.
Amazing food. Our waiter Ian was very sweet and helpful.
We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Nice intimate space. We only ordered cheese and chocolate fondue. Waiter seemed less than enthused about us not ordering the complete dinner (way too much food!). No explanation about what was happening (this was our first time) until we asked. Actually not much talking from the waiter. I was speaking to him mid sentence one time when he breezed away. Meal still took 2 hours to finish. We may come back and try the protein portion next time and skip the cheese which was congealed before we could finish dipping all the bread and veggies. Chocolate was awesome. Would have liked to ask if we could have more fruit to dip since we had chocolate left over but check was dropped off and waiter disappeared.
We always used to go to Melting Pot, because we knew it. This local establishment is such a better option, good kids menu too and everyone has such a fun time. Without even having to ask the cell phones are down and we spend family time together and TALK, isn’t that amazing a magic restaurant that does that for a family.
Have been many times. This time everything was a bit off. Cheese fondue was lumpy and semi-warm. Entrees were short on batter, instruction and hot oil. Dessert was missing cake cubes (was told that they no longer provide them). Waiter was spread too thin. It was just an off experience. Sad, because it is my daughter's favorite restaurant. At $49/person, more is expected.
My wife and I went for our anniversary...we’d never been before. Other reviewers were right when they said give yourself the two hours...maybe more...time allotted. Our server was Cesar...he was great! He was super accommodating and funny. We were a bit rushed as we had to make a show but like I said Cesar was ready and willing to get us out of there without taking away from the experience. We’ll definitely be returning. My one small complaint was that it was warm and humid in the restaurant...I’m not sure if their a/c wasn’t working or they simply weren’t expecting a 77 degree day in the middle of January but it was very humid and warm.
