The experience was good however it felt like we waited forever for our food to come out. Family and I wasn’t thrilled about that. The atmosphere and decor is nice.
We found Simon's on line and decided to try a new restaurant before going to The Fox. The food was delicious, the decor beautiful and the wait staff outstanding, We will definately return.
Great atmosphere and attentive staff.
This is a hidden jewel in the midtown area of Atlanta. The food and drinks are good and the service is great!
Happy hour drinks were great! The entrees were just ok. We got the chicken. It was a little dry and lacked flavor. I wish we had stuck with the half off appetizers for our meal. The salmon croquettes were awesome! I would definitely come again to try something new on the menu.
Nice atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. Clean bathrooms. Good overall menu. Appetizer choice could have been better. Would definitely return. :)
Enjoyed the service, bar staff and food. Came there for a Valentine continuation dinner. I was definitely satisfied with our experience.
Beautiful ambiance and great service. The drinks were amazing, but the food was mediocre. Great place to go for nice pictures and maybe an appetizer or drinks.
Except for the ungodly expensive charge( $26 ) for a drink, the rating would have been 5 stars. Food was tasty, service was well intentioned, but hit or miss. Worth another try, But without a drink.
Hosted a customer for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Seven people in our party. The hostess greeted me on arrival and had our table setup in advance. None in our group had been to Simon’s previously. The restaurant is clean and neat. Service was timely and attentive to our needs. They met every need without requests and yet we’re not intrusive and interrupting to the conversation. Excellent Service! Food was hot, fresh and seasoned just right for an excellent flavor and eating experience. Live music began about half way thru our dinner and was very good. Not too loud to disrupt conversation but added to the experience perfectly. Check out Simon’s. It’s a good value and great folks!
Expensive for mediocre food.Salt seems to the main seasoning in every dish.
Everything about Simon’s was fantastic! Selected max noise level only for the music volume, but I still loved it and the throwback hip hop!
Good, food and service above average. Location good.
The service and atmosphere were great. The cocktails were ok. The food was hit or miss. The apps and the sides were very good, but one main was average and the fried chicken really wasn't good at all (overcooked and uninspired batter). The overall experience was good enough that we will go back and try different entrees to see if there are better options.
Simon's exceeded my (high) expectations! From drinks to appetizers to entrees, everything was on point. It's also a great spot for any purpose: happy hour, dinner with friends, date night, or celebration! I recommend the salmon croquettes and the beef short ribs. Thank you, Simon's!
Lucked into their Happy Hour specials before a show. Well prepared food and drinks with excellent service even at their discounted prices. Count me as a new fan and we will follow up with a full meal!
Sunday Family brunch
This restaurant has been several spots and I have to say Simon's brunch was the absolute best. James was our waiter and he was outstanding. The wings, grits, french toast, waffles, etc. were amazing and cooked perfectly.
The food was delicious and our server was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely eat there again, soon!
I ordered the fried chicken omelette with potato hash & midnight smash cocktail. My omelette was delicious but it seem like the chicken may was left out tho & our potato has was over cooked & we ask for another potato hash & our waitress gave me & my friend girl another round of potato hash. We didn’t complain about the omelette if it was missing the chicken or not cause it was actually delicious. My cocktail was delicious. It had a nice punch too it. I’ll visit again just to check out dinner menu
We were the only guests there for a 6pm reservation. It was weird. It took longer than I thought for being the only table. Food was tasty and fresh. Service was good. Not sure why there were not more people there on a Friday evening.
Great food drinks service and background music. A must try if you like oysters. Especially the baked oysters. We enjoyed everything we tried. Plus we had a great server Landy. We went pre Fox show.
Very nice ambiance! Was able to park tight next door in the parking garage. Parking app was 3 hours for $5.00. The food and service was amazing!!
Great meal before a show at the Fox. Happy hour deals and food can’t be beat! Ask for James!
Had s great time here with my Daughter before show at Fox.
Great food, Great service.
Great menu and waitstaff!
Our first visit before a show at the Fox. The Brunch was fantastic! Two enjoyed the ribeye and said they were delicious! Another had the salmon and said it was perfect. Another had the veggie bake and grits, while I had the chicken biscuit and gravy. Every, single dish was just wonderful. The hot, out of the oven lemon poppyseed muffins were the best I have ever had! We will definitely go back and recommend this brunch for anyone! Our sweet server was so kind and polite. Could not have had a better time!
Simon's was great and our waitress was the icing on the cake!
waited too long for food. wasn't anything better than waffle house... was there for brunch ...maybe dinner is better.
the server was the only thing worth being there for. she was awesome
My husband and I decided to try Simon's for our date night and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The ambiance was perfect, the service was great and the food was amazing. I ordered the Ribeye Medium and it came out perfect, pink in the middle with no blood. When I've order a Medium Steak at other restaurants 9 times out of 10 it's either still bloody or over cooked so I was pleasantly surprise that it was right the 1st time and I didn't have to send it back. The ribeye was accompanied with Garlic mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach they were both great as well. My husband ordered the Braised Short Ribs and he enjoyed those as well. They were super tender and flavorful. It was accompanied with Pimento Cheese mashed potatoes but he requested the Garlic mashed instead. We like to try different restaurants twice a month and rarely double back to any that we've tried, however, we both agree that Simon's deserves another visit.
Place is great!! Good option if you’re going to the Fox or just because it’s a great experience!!
A but loud, open design with hard surfaces everywhere. Food was great, cocktails were sub-par. Service was excellent, and value was very good.
The food has been impeccable every time we go! Great place to go before a show at the Fox.
We will returning soon! We loved the food and service!
We went to Simon's last night and were NOT pleased. There were various issues but suffice to say...the service was NOT up to par. Literally, one of the entrees on the menu came out with ONE of the items as represented on the menu. The other two items in the entree were NOT as described on the menu. Despite addressing the various issues with our server, the Manager never came out to apologize, speak to us... Nothing. The red flag for us
should’ve been when we arrived. Everyone in there just stared and the hostess was missing from the stand. To add to everything, there was only ONE other table of guests for the longest until another couple finally arrived. Did I mention this was on a beautiful Saturday evening? A group of us were scheduled to bring a friend there this week for a birthday dinner. Suffice to say we will NOT be going to Simon’s and have made alternate dinner reservations.
They were so nice and courteous. Food was delicious to!!!
Great place for a date night or a night out with friends. The food and service were amazing and the ambiance and decor were awesome too. I had a really great time. For overall experience I rated 4 stars only because of how close together the two seater tables were but it did not disturb our fun.
We went to the restaurant on a Friday night. There was a nice crowd. We had reservations and were seated quickly. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The drink specials were tasty. The food was great. My husband had the fried chicken, which was good. They gave nice size portions. I had shrimp tacos. These were the biggest shimp I've ever seen in a taco. They were seasoned perfectly. My friend had the oxtail. She said it was good. Her husband had a burger. It was really big and looked delicious. He said his was good as well. For dessert I had the bread pudding...it was soooo good. We will definitely be going back. We loved everything about the place. It was a great way to start off our night.
