Great food and drinks, perfect for a weekend brunch.
Always delightful sitting on patio with good French cuisine
The service was extraordinary!! Everyone was so kind and helpful, especially Lisa. Beautiful place, food is a hit or miss.
The outdoor decor is cute. But the tables are pretty close together. Unfortunately, we had 2 loud groups sitting next to us which was unpleasant. There's no street parking available so we had to park in a structure about 5 minutes away and the restaurant doesn't validate either
I ordered mussels . The flavor was good but there are still sand in some
Great place. Decor and ambient is great for a relaxing dinner. Food is solid. Service is great.
We came here for Dine LA and it was a cute ambiance with delicious food. The French fries were perfect drawstring and crispy.
Cute hotel and food was great. It's definitely small and intimate.
The food and atmosphere is nice. However, service is extremely slow. From waters, to ordering to food delivery. We sat down at 12:15 and didn’t get drinks until close to 1 pm.
The service staff don’t seem to be experienced enough to acknowledge that the slow service was an issue. Instead, they explained that a large party was slowing down things. Looking around, the restaurant had a few open tables in our vicinity.
An exceptionally pleasant and classy experience. Sitting in the courtyard is a European type experience, and the food selections are appropriate. Recommend this to anybody, for any occasion.
Can’t say the food is very good at all, but it’s a cute tucked away spot. I’ve never had such watery moules-frites. Brunch menu is quite small yet they can’t seem to master their dishes. Hopefully we just ordered the wrong thing.
This is one of the loveliest spots in all of Los Angeles.
The service has vastly improved since I first dined here when it first opened.
The menu is limited but everything is good quality.
Noise level was more than desirable but that was because we were there on peak Saturday night time.
Weekdays or lunch is, naturally, much more calm.
What a gem! A bit hidden off the well beaten track in trendy Culver City. Terrific French inspired menu. Delicious food - great service!
Love the branzino. Shorter wine list than I'd like. And took a minute to get the wine but overall love love love
Went for a bachelorette party dinner - 3/4 ordered steak frites and all steaks came out grisly and undercooked (ordered medium rare and came out completely rare and cold in middle). They offered to replace the dishes with other food. Still charged same price at the end of the night. No apologies - just was mansplained by the manager that steak is a muscle and can vary in texture. Obviously only a very cheap cut of meat that they then add fries to and try to sell for $28 a dish. Our server only showed up once to take our order. We sat without any water for the entire night - only to get a refill when I asked when our second entrees had been dropped off.
Our first time dining here and we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was great. Service was attentive and quick. The drinks are good, corkage (25) was reasonable. Food was delicious, though I wish the menu had more selections. We will be back
Great food & great ambiance. It's like a little hidden gem right outside of Downtown Culver City. Will definitely return!
Overall a wonderful experience with good but not spectacular cuisine. Martinis well made. Fish dish wonderful but steak Diane needed a bit more spice in sauce.
Wine selection is limited but one can find a glass to enjoy.
Service was good but felt a little pressure to order all at once rather than a breathing space between cocktails, appetizers and main.
Setting very enjoyable.
Valet parking cost above norm.
Want to try again for breakfast and lunch.
Simonette is one of my favorite neighborhood gems. Perfect place for an intimate meal...good food and romantic ambiance. They have valet parking or it's walking distance from many of the downtown Culver city parking garages
Simonette has a great menu and a beautiful patio and excellent and friendly customer service.
Charming restaurant with beutiful patio and quiet, assuming ambiance. The food was excellent and the service was very good. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back.
Good was mediocre and it was expensive. The ambience was good.
It was our 40th wedding anniversary, so I thought maybe they would give us a dessert or a drink for free, but no, we got a small plate of grilled peppers. Not very exciting! Also we ordered moules frites, which they had run out of. We had oysters, which were very small, and crepe suzette. Nothing else seemed very appetising. Our server was very nice, the restaurant was beautiful, and very busy, but unfortunately the food didn’t hit the mark.
Enjoyed the experience very much. It was casual and the service was polite and fast. Was initially seated outside where there were unsavory odors wafting in from beyond the wall. I asked to be reseated and they handled it immediately.
The omelette was creamy and delicious- prepared very quickly. Followed quickly by our fries and market veggies (shishito peppers). Very nice meal that was thoughtfully prepared. Was expecting more of a upscale experience, but was pleasantly surprised at how casual it felt.
I’ll definitely go back to check out their steak and burger.
Very cute place, great ambiance but food is nothing to rave about, except for the fries. I ordered the Diane steak which was somewhat chewy and not well prepared. Cocktails are average. Staff is lovely but food could improve.
This was a surprising treat. I would love a larger menu with appetizers for sharing.
I just LOVE this place! Such a gem, and a lovely ambiance.
Very relaxed/pretty indoor/outdoor cafe setting. Incredibly nice staff. Great coffee and pastry. And great fries too! Didn’t love my lox tartine, but didn’t hate it either. Would definitely go back.
Best hidden gem to find in Los Angeles! The service was excellent, food was exceptional and the ambience was gorgeous. I found this place on Instagram from Los Angeles Bucketlist page, and I can't wait to go back. My only criticism is that I wish the outdoor dining area was much bigger. But it's still worth checking out!
This place is lovely if you are just looking for a nice setting to have a cocktail. I ate dinner here with a friend and was really disappointed with the food.
Wonderful experience! The restaurant is very chic and the service is great. Vanessa is such a kind and wonderful waitress. We stayed for awhile and she would check in often to make sure we had everything that we needed. I will be back!
Great experience. Overcharged credit card for tip.
Overall, the food was good although the gougères were a little salty and the mussels not quite hot enough. My main concern was that the tables were way too close to each other for safety. I will not return until the variant is under control.
Met two actors at the restaurant for lunch. They were impressed as was I.
What an adorable place! I love the inside/outside vibe and it’s really cute without feeling pretentious. Came for brunch and had:
1) omelette: this was so delicious!! Super soft and creamy. I’ve never had an omelette like this. A bit salty though.
2) fries: yummy!
3) seafood plateau: oysters were very good but a little warm. This dish doesn’t come on a bed of ice, which i think is a little odd for a seafood tower. But very good price for how much you get.
Service was ok but everyone is struggling during the pandemic. Everyone was very friendly. Just slightly lacking in professionalism but that is ok.
Overall, liked this place and will be back.
The food is always great, as is the service. Love the ambiance of this place. Perfect for any occasion
Colin and his team are amazing! The food is delicious and the staff was so nice. The space was also comfortable and cozy.
Seemed short staffed. Everything took way too long. Food was horrible. Server was great considering circumstances
First time at Simonette.
Service not so much we booked at 230 and kitchen closes at 3
Seemed understaffed and dishes not coming out in order
ex soup and main dish at same time.
Suggest earlier lunch res for better service.
Music not so much could have better choice.Maybe a bit more european
