Love the atmosphere and delicious brunch. Definitely check it out
Such a cute place! Great for dates. Everything came with fries! Soo ideal. Food was amazing, they knocked it out of the park, with the sole exception of the creme brûlée (which we didn’t care for) all in all a great experience, I’d go back again!
Amazing location for a brunch with friends. You can actually talk to your friends without having to yell because the music is so loud! ( which is rare in L.A) The service and the food were great too.
Great atmosphere & good food in a pleasant space. The outdoor dining is really lovely.
Great food and cocktails. Amazing scallops. Good service. Love the ambiance.
The ambiance here is incredible. The bar and back patio are beautiful. We sat "inside" but were placed next to a full-wall window that was open onto the front patio so it felt like we were outside. The food and coffee was delicious and the service was great. I also loved being able to pay with our phones from a QR code. Will definitely be back.
The hostess/manager was friendly & accommodating when seating our group of 7. The ambiance is fantastic, was excited for this experience. The real bummer part was food service. The waiter was a sourpuss the entire time, barely containing his eye roll when we asked for anything. Our bill was close to $400, no one was rude, high maintenance or entitled, yet he had an attitude throughout. The bartender made fantastic cocktails, most of the food was good, exception being the steak Diane ordered medium, came well/over done and was totally chewy. I daren’t complain to the waiter as he was already bothered to do his job. I would consider trying going again, with a different server.
fabulous food, fantastic ambience, wonderful service, and a great outdoor seating option! would a thousand percent revisit!
Great New Year’s Eve tasting menu, great service, fun time!
Open air indoor patio was perfect; hamburger and fries stellar (had very crispy firs the day I was there, which I love!), valet parking very easy, and all in all a great place for lunch.
Simonette is a quintessential French cafe, the best I've been to outside of France -- and better than most I've been to in France as well. Delicious food, intriguing and tasty drinks, great ambiance, and top-notch service (they were great doing everything needed for our outdoor table for a party of 6 plus two dogs, including getting an extra heat lamp set up for the chill). This is a great place for a long, relaxing brunch, and you don't even have to save room for the luscious desserts because they somehow entice one to finish them no matter what. :)
this was not high quality food that they were absurdly accepting 1130 reservations even though they were closing at noon.
the pastry was Starbucks quality ie not good and I'm sad I went there
The tables are packed tight inside with only a few feet between diners. Not a safe place indoors during COVID if you follow the science. Not going back. We actually left halfway through our lunch--staff understood and we were not charged as there was nowhere available to seat us that wasn't on top of the tables next to us.
Lots to love here, but also a few issues. The restaurant is VERY cold - same inside and out. We tried the patio with the heaters, but it was still cold. We moved indoors but since the inside of the restaurant is open (the entire width), it was just as cold, but no heaters. Fortunately, the offered blankets which we really appreciated.
I ordered the omelette and it was more than outstanding. That's why the French are known for their omelettes. It remained soft and moist until the last bite and was delicious. First time I've ever ordered an omelette for dinner but it was a great choice and I'd order it again.
The chicken my husband ordered was a bit dry. I know that chicken is one of the most difficult dishes to prepare, but it should have been undercooked so it would be juicy by the time it was served.
The Nutella cheesecake was delicious and I'm not a cheesecake fan. Full of flavor.
Vanessa was our server and she was the best server I've come across in years. Attentive and personable.
Cocktails were nicely done.
Also, the creme brulee is excellent.
A go to for sure! Tucked away and saved for the lucky few who find it!
We had a lovely server and very much enjoyed the space itself. Overall was not impressed by the menu selection or the food itself.
A delicious food, wonderful service, very friendly, food was tasty and we had a great meal! Will come back hundred percent!
Great cocktails, cheese plate and food. The service was great and fast. We will definitely go again!
Such a cute place! The food was great and service was awesome.
Limited but delicious brunch menu, good drinks, and attentive service. Nice patio, not too loud. Will return.
We loved the environment! Friendly people / great service!
❤️❤️❤️ great discovery!!! Fun decor, lovely menu and food!
Great experience overall. The back restaurant area, under the stars, is probably the best seating....and was full on a Saturday night. Nonetheless, the restaurant is welcoming, casual and well attended from the greeter, to the bar to all the service staff.
The food is excellent, with the standout being the Beef Tartare, which was devoured by the entire party. The one complaint was that the Crepes Suzette were not done table-side, but were delicious.
Overall, a lovely evening was had by everyone in our party of 6.
Very limited menu and difficult to do substitutions. But I had the Beyond burger which was very good with a side salad which was also quite good.
It was unexpected. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the service. Just great.
Really beautiful/adorable space in the Palihotel - very chic. Food is pretty classic French, with tasty cocktails. The gougeres are DELICIOUS, must order - I also had the mussel and frites (classic, standard) and the cheese plate (which only had one kind of cheese?). The restaurant is open to a courtyard, so perhaps technically considered all outside, but I requested outside and was put in the furthest inside corner, so I might call if you actually want to be in the courtyard (and the tables feel kind of close together for pandemic times). There's really only valet parking back by the restaurant, so park in a lot in downtown Culver and walk over if you don't want to do valet.
Great food and drinks, perfect for a weekend brunch.
Always delightful sitting on patio with good French cuisine
The service was extraordinary!! Everyone was so kind and helpful, especially Lisa. Beautiful place, food is a hit or miss.
The outdoor decor is cute. But the tables are pretty close together. Unfortunately, we had 2 loud groups sitting next to us which was unpleasant. There's no street parking available so we had to park in a structure about 5 minutes away and the restaurant doesn't validate either
I ordered mussels . The flavor was good but there are still sand in some
Great place. Decor and ambient is great for a relaxing dinner. Food is solid. Service is great.
We came here for Dine LA and it was a cute ambiance with delicious food. The French fries were perfect drawstring and crispy.
Cute hotel and food was great. It's definitely small and intimate.
The food and atmosphere is nice. However, service is extremely slow. From waters, to ordering to food delivery. We sat down at 12:15 and didn’t get drinks until close to 1 pm.
The service staff don’t seem to be experienced enough to acknowledge that the slow service was an issue. Instead, they explained that a large party was slowing down things. Looking around, the restaurant had a few open tables in our vicinity.
An exceptionally pleasant and classy experience. Sitting in the courtyard is a European type experience, and the food selections are appropriate. Recommend this to anybody, for any occasion.
Can’t say the food is very good at all, but it’s a cute tucked away spot. I’ve never had such watery moules-frites. Brunch menu is quite small yet they can’t seem to master their dishes. Hopefully we just ordered the wrong thing.
This is one of the loveliest spots in all of Los Angeles.
The service has vastly improved since I first dined here when it first opened.
The menu is limited but everything is good quality.
Noise level was more than desirable but that was because we were there on peak Saturday night time.
Weekdays or lunch is, naturally, much more calm.
What a gem! A bit hidden off the well beaten track in trendy Culver City. Terrific French inspired menu. Delicious food - great service!
Love the branzino. Shorter wine list than I'd like. And took a minute to get the wine but overall love love love
