We had reservations for 7:30 but weren't seated until after 8:00. That was frustrating. Once seated, though, the service was fantastic. My wife even commented about hot good the service was. The steaks were good, but they weren't as flavorful as some we've had. I do highly recommend the Roasted Bacon was delicious. The view overlooking the city was very nice and we liked that it was quiet enough to carry on a conversation without having to feel like we were yelling. Overall a good experience...but it's a once or twice a year treat for us to spend this much on dinner. The disappointments of the late seating and the good but not great steak will likely have us looking somewhere else next time.

Went here to celebrate an anniversary and a promotion I had recently gotten. Steak was ordered medium, showed up well done. Mushrooms we're burnt to a crisp. My GF sat there with her dish getting cold for 20 mins while I waited for my food to be recooked while sides and everything else got cold. Server finally brought my steak after I asked about it. Made no attempt to remedy the situation, until after we said we didn't want to dessert, he offered to give a free dessert. Overall extremely poor experience and for a $250 dinner, I will be sure to bring my business to somewhere that appreciates it.

WOW! Wow. Wow. We were impressed!
We have eaten at Simms several times before, (and ALWAYS had a great experience), but on this occasion, we had an interesting challenge for our dining experience. My husband and I are both in the middle of Whole30, which if you've done it, you know the restrictions; it almost makes eating out impossible. But we wanted to go out to celebrate Valentine's Day/my birthday, and we chose Simms knowing we could get a great steak that's on plan. I called ahead to see what kinds of sides we could order and how things were cooked, so we could choose/modify items that would fit on the plan. When I called, they actually transferred me directly to the chef! I told him we were on Whole30, so we chatted for a few minutes and he gave me some ideas and told me how things were cooked, and then said, "You know what! When you get here, just ask for Chef Jason, and I'll come out and we'll get a menu all worked out for you guys." So sure enough, when we got there, Chef Jason not only came out, he SAT with us for several minutes, coming up with a customized menu that we could eat that was on plan, and said he had already started our on plan baked potatoes. (ADDITIONALLY, because he hadn't heard about Whole30 before, he actually researched it before we got there, so he was prepared with really good ideas of what would fit our needs.) So he customized our dinners, and of course - they were AMAZING! Chef Jason couldn't have been nicer. He was SO incredibly friendly and accommodating, and we appreciated him and his time so much. Further, our server Summer was also understanding of our (crazy) requests, and was SUPER nice and wonderful to us too. We were INSANELY impressed by the service and attention that we received. We will DEFINITELY be returning, and have already told tons of people about our amazing experience. THANK YOU SIMMS STEAKHOUSE!!!! You really went above and beyond, and made our evening incredibly special.

This was our best time ever at Simms Steakhouse. The Lamb Loin, as well as, the Chilean Sea Bass were outstanding. Everyone else were thrilled with their steaks, too.

Had our date night for late Valentine's. Loved the view, food and atmosphere. Love that root beer glazed bacon as an appetizer.

We dined on Valentines. Champagne while we were waiting was a nice touch. We took advantage of wine Wednesday which was great. The food, service, and ambience were fantastic.

The view as always was amazing to see the city lights. The service was slow, although we went on Valentines Day so it was a busy night for them. The baked potatoes we ordered were only 1/2 cooked, the brussel sprouts were the same way, some were cooked and some were raw and crunchy. The bathrooms were dirty and outdated, the tile floors were cracked. Then to end our evening, the valet driver either had very bad BO or messed himself as our vehicle smelled so bad when we got in we had to have the windows down for a couple blocks just to air it out. Overall not a good experience

In all fairness, I would need to try this place out on a day that is not Valentine's Day. That being said, though, this restaurant seemed ill prepared for such a busy night. I made my reservation over 2 weeks before on Open Table, hoping this would assure us a good table at our 8:00 reservation time. We got there at 7:45 and were seated around 8:15. There were lots of customers waiting to be seated while empty tables were everywhere in the lounge area. The first table we received was very awkward as it was positioned behind another table that was against the window. This made it so that I was either seated in the very busy aisle with people running behind me the whole time, or I was practically in the lap of the other table, not ideal. To their credit, the hostess gave us another table fairly quickly, it was in the lounge area where all it needed was the silverware (at least 5 other tables in this area could have been used if they had the silverware placed). Once seated at a comfortable table, our server was very nice and helpful. My date ordered filet medium well, I ordered the porterhouse medium rare. We also got the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. The bread they serve to each person was some of the best bread I have ever had in my life! The filet was very thick and was not butterflied, so when we cut into it, it was very rare. We sent it back to be cooked some more, but when it came back, it still wasn't cooked to medium well. We cut it up ourselves and sent it back again so that it could finally be cooked properly. The porterhouse was very good as was the mashed and mac (the mashed was awesome, the cheese on the mac was a little runny). The filet finally came back at the right temp and was very good. We ordered the bread pudding, which was excellent. They took the dessert off the bill due to the problems with the filet. As stated, this was a very busy night and I hope to give them a try when they are not so overwhelmed with customers.

Took forever to get our food when food came out food was cold waitress did not want to do anything about it took forever to get to desert eight people ordered seven people got food eighth person took another 15 minutes to get food after we complained they decided to comp the eighth person’s meal overall very bad experience

Valentine's was the event. Cocktails were awesome.... The bread is to die for!!!! The filets were cooked perfectly. Sides of Mac and cheese and potatoes au gratin, yum. Bread pudding was scrumptious!!!!!
