The food quality and selection should/could have been better. For the price it was probably about right.
Love Simms. Beautiful location with incredible views. The food is usually pretty good, but the service is top notch and the ambiance is so relaxing.
Great steaks and service. Please bring back the Bone in Filet!
Food didnt have not enough flavor- Stranahan's is better in my opinion if you are going to spend $150 for 2 people.
Food and service were outstanding. A very nice view over the city skyline.
From the appetizers to dessert, this meal was one of the best we have had. An excellent fine dining experience while the view of Denver lights was so relaxing. Service was perfect. We will return for dinner and an appetizer night out
Because much of it is a la carte it got expensive fast. My prime rib was wonderful, but would have appreciated a 10 oz option, as I was going out of town and to bring the rest home was not really an option. Also would have appreciated a simple side salad as an option, many looked good, but all had cheese and croutons which I can not eat, they were also around $10. A nice evening, never felt rushed, beautiful view. Our server was delightful and accommodating. We'll save up so we can go again. I have been to capital grill, Morton's, Ruth Christ's so I am familiar with the type of venue. Would have liked a few non traditional choices.
We went for our 39th wedding anniversary and it was such a nice place. We were able to sit and see the whole city. The food was fabulous. The service and our waitress we awesome. It is a very memorable night. They treated us very special and my granddaughter also enjoyed it.
Always great service. Spotty on the food. Normally very good but sometimes slipping to below average. Example: always look forward to lobster bisque, but served it less than warm. Almost room temp.
For a Steakhouse, not what we hoped for. Steak had very little flavor. Salad and soup were okay. Price for what the meal was , pricey. Service arms Stephanie were great!
Ambience was nice.
Went here for a recent date night with my husband and loved it. The service was great and the food was really good. A bit pricey but really in line with other restaraunts of its kind. I had a bison filet that was excellent and my husband chose a dry aged steak which he really enjoyed. They also had a couple of seafood options that sounded really good. Overall a great dining experience.
Best steaks I’ve had in many years, and the kind of restaurants you can enjoy regularly and still feel good about using for special occasions. Does not have a chain feel, and is one of the Denver metro areas real gems.
Went to Simms Steakhouse for me and my girlfriends one year anniversary! Was blown away by the quality of the service, food, and overall atmosphere! The price fits the quality and overall we left very happy! Al was our server and he was amazing!
Our senior meetup group of 8 reserved to enjoy the $25 prime rib Monday night special. The food was delicious although the waitress forgot about us at times. The restaurant was empty except for the happy hour people in the lounge.
My complaint is that we tried to use our AAA and AARP cards to receive the 10% discount available at all Landry restaurants. The manager refused to honor that discount. When I brought my senior meetup group to Simms for Sunday brunch, it was like pulling teeth to get the server to honor the discount.
Next time I will take my group to 240 Union where its prime rib special is equally delicious and costs only $20 on Sunday nights. I've had great food and service there in the past on several occasions.
Great food and our server, Summer, always does a great job.
There was a large group st one end, when the hostess went to seat us she said, this is too noisy down here, let me seat you in a different place. The $2 mimosas were a wonderful treat for the delicous buffet brunch. We are going back Sunday night for dinner. The view overlooking Denver is beautiful.
The service was perfect, just like the brunch. My guest will be sharing that pleasure with her family real soon.
Sunday Brunch - everything was luke warm to cold except the made-to-order omelette. Nothing exceptional about the food. I expected better from this restaurant. $2.00 mimosas - good price but I doubt there was much champagne in there at all. Very disappointed.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have a great experience at Simms. Service was slow and our waitress messed up our order multiple times- steak was served medium rare when ordered medium well, wrong salads were brought out. Terrible cocktails but wine was good.
wonderful food. expensive. this is clearly a place for a special occasion but well worth it
Food was as good as expected, but our waiter was wonderful! Funny without being too goofy, stealthy - ninja like service where you didn't notice wine or water being brought/refilled, but there is was. Not in sight, but always there when you needed him. This is what excellent service looks like. Kudos!
The food was very good. Everything was very tasty from appetizers to drinks to entree. Great view.
My only complaint is that we got there early to have a drink at the bar before dinner and found out that there was no way for my husband, who is in a wheelchair, to get to the bar (due to stairs). Also, the bathroom is not ADA compliant and there is no family bathroom for someone in a wheelchair. They were very nice about everything and allowed my husband to use the men's bathroom while someone stood outside and blocked the door; but maybe it is time to update the restaurant to the 21st century?
Top shelf gourmet dining. Attentive and knowledgeable service along with a scenic view. Very well-prepared steak entrees.
This was a wonderful experience! Lovely view , fantastic food, great service
Brunch was wonderful! All of the food was fresh and tasty! We were very pleased with the service as well, Kurt and Nicki were a fantastic team! The view is always spectacular! We will be back!
Simms enabled me to have a perfect "wake" before I die from breast cancer in a few months.
Our favorite Steakhouse in Denver! The Wait staff is truly the best in the business.
We had strict dietary restrictions and the chef came out and personally instructed us on what we could eat or how he could modify the meal to meet our needs. I greatly appreciated their willingness to accommodate us. We will certainly be back.
Not sure my gluten free options were gluten free? Food wasn’t as great as rembered before.
Turned down using a gift card and birthday points together. Happy hour was only at bar and does not state this online. The Buffalo ribeye was way smaller than 14 oz. and thin and tough. Service was okay until it got crowded. So lots of Nos an bad steak really not worth the price.
Great views, great service, nice ambiance and good food. What's not to love?
My wife and I ordered the dry-aged New York and it was tough. Enough said. Won't be back.0
The food was excellently prepared to each of our preferences. Environment was very customer friendly: nice view of the city lights from most tables, nice quiet ambiance. Our server was very friendly and attentive to us. She had a knowledge of the food preparation and the menu contents.
My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner at Simms Steakhouse. The only negative part about is was being seated around kids and loud groups when we were trying to have a romantic dinner. Obviously, the restaurant cannot determine who is going to come in for a meal, so we adjusted and still had a great time.
Our waiter Sam did a great job- Summer also assisted- she is always a great waitress.
Pretty expensive - they charge Del Frisco prices without the quality.
Our server was outstanding, she met our every wish
My wife was served rubber chicken. My steak was tasteless. They tried to charge us twice for our bottle of wine. My recommendation would be to avoid this place.
Great table. Excellent view of the city. Good service. Too loud at times which made it difficult for conversations. Pricey.
Other than our server, who seemed a bit bored by us, the food was great. It was a Wednesday night and quite busy for a rainy weekday evening. Nice wine specials, all bottles over$100 half price. The back up staff to our server were just delightful.
