Located just steps from the sand on the Hermosa Beach pier promenade, Silvio's uses freshly grilled meats and seafood's to make a variety of delicious South American sandwiches, fresh salads, plates, and rice bowls. Rude service and eye rolls from staff, ended up leaving after being seated and treated as though we were not welcome. When we told them we were leaving bc we didn’t feel comfortable, they said sorry and proceeded to laugh about it. We took our party of 7 next door instead. Sad, bc we used to love this place.

Amazing food, the best band, and the owner Nicole was super friendly! We haven’t been here in years since going vegan and there were tons of food choices for us though the meat smelled sooo appetizing :) The new remodeled interior looks gorgeous! Super comfortable chic atmosphere to lounge in.

Food is usually really good, this time chicken was a little burnt. That was our only issue. Service was great, it was a little busy so it was cramped inside and noisy, however we still had a good time.

Food (rice bowl tri-tip and chicken sandwich) was under seasoned and bland. Service was super slow- we Sat initially without any service for 10 minutes. The artichoke appetizer was the best thing from the experience.

Watching the sunset on the beach should be enough to bring you here but there’s even more reason… Great service & the food was delicious. Our server recommended spooning the sauce from our shrimp appetizer onto our Brazilian rice. You want to drink that sauce, it’s so good! The grilled bread that came with the app was perfect. The staff is so friendly & if you sit inside, you’ll also have monitors to watch sports once the sun sets.

Ive been twice, my 26 yr old daughter treated me too Silvios we dined outside and enjoyed the Drunken Prawns (SO GOOD!) & BBQ Chicken Bahia Rice Bowl - both were delicious, but the drunken prawns is now my go to. So during my second visit, in which I invited my family friend who was visiting from Texas, I suggested the drunken prawns (her new favorite), and we both fell in love with the Coxinha - OMG, a game changer! The green salad that garnished the croquettes was so delicious🔥!!! My friend ordered both drunken prawns and Croxinha to go, and I ordered a drunken prawns to go for my daughter😉. I would suggest Silvios - its welcoming to all, even pet friendly, and the service is great! David was wonderful, he's only been there 2 months, but he loves his job and made a lot of great menu suggestions along with his kind spirit; thank you, David😊! See you soon, Silvios!

We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and were very disappointed in our experience. Everyone was very pleasant, though, but we waited far too long for every item we received. The people next to us came at least a half hour after we arrived and were served and left before we even received our food. Our black angus beef was very tough and chewy, which we were guaranteed was the best on the menu. We will not be back.

The food here is the thing, and the location (Hermosa Beach Pier Plaza). If you drink beer, there is another whole review that I am unqualified to do. I've been for lunch and also for their special event fixed-price menu. The food was perfect both times and not too salty like most restaurants. The salads are not an afterthought to a complex meat menu, which is nice for mixed groups (vegetarian and non). A lot of the guests are locals and come here often so the friendliness factor is high. If you're not a local, you will be welcomed and this is important as the tables are close. The servers were friendly and professional.
